5 of 5 Worth the money Tuesday, November 17, 2009 A Customer from Jacksonville, Florida
Headphones were at my front door within a few days. They work great and is worth the money. Strap above the head a little annoying (wish they would make them with ear buds only and were battery powered). I don't have to recharge the headphones but every couple of weeks and I use them everyday. Don't buy the wireless headphones that recharge via your usb on your pc (you have to recharge them almost daily) Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Definately Worth It Saturday, August 29, 2009 Scott from Texas
You will hear so much more in music and movies with a quality pair of headphones on. These have good clarity for a wireless product, with a nice range of sound from the lowest bass to the highest treble. Setup was easy, and they were more lightweight that I was expecting.
On a side note, for those of you who have two or more Sennheiser base stations connected to multiple televisions in your home, you will be able to pick up the audio from all of them by simply adjusting the tuner. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great buy Friday, August 28, 2009 A Customer from Oakland, California
The design is elegant. The quality is superior. I am so happy with these headphones. If you have a need for isolation and comfort while you watch TV, a movie, work on the computer, these headphones give you the freedom you desire, and the noiseless sound and clarity to facilitate concentration... And the price is right Was this review helpful?

The setup was easy, insert batteries, plug wire to audio jacks, plug adapter and adjust the channel and tuners to get best sound. The hissing sound is audible but not a problem for TV shows and audiobooks, maybe for music programs. The sound is quite clear. I can turn my head and move around the room without deterioration in the quality. The headphones are made of hollow plastic. Some complain they may be flimsy, but to engineer the rechargeable contacts but yet to keep it lightweight, I don't know how else you could do it. Overall quite happy with my purchase Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best buy Friday, July 10, 2009 Yang from Las Cruces, NM
There is one big problem with this product.
Once you put it on, you end up wearing it all day long, you become addictive to it immediately.
Strongly recommend dakmart, super fast shipping. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A must buy for a great audio experience! Saturday, June 27, 2009 Racketboy from Cerritos, CA
I had doubts when I bought this headphone set. When it arrived within 1 week (as expected), I was blown away by it's quality! It is defintely unparalleled by all previous wireless headphone I have tested. May take a bit of fine tuning to search for the best signal (through 3 channels) but soon as you find it, you may never want to to take off the headphones; virtually static-free!!! Not much setup required, just plug-n-listen. A great investment by Buy.com! Reasonably priced with top-notch quality! Was this review helpful?

By trial and error, I have purchased several wireless headphone sets and finally have a set that meets all of my qualifications. This is the fourth model of Sennhieser phones I've purchased, two wired and two wireless. I've also had RCA and Panasonic models. Bottom line is the RS120's are the only wireless phones with virtually no static and very clear sound. Was this review helpful?

As one who has difficulty distinguishing speech on TV I have found that headphones help me understand much better. This is the second set of RS 120's I have purchased. We have one transmitter on our big screen and one on our home theater. Each headset can be tuned to either receiver so two of us can use them to watch the same program or we can use them in separate rooms to watch different things.
The sound is really good and I find myself strolling through the house with them on while getting a snack and not missing any of the dialogue.
I haven't used them to listen to much music but I believe they would meet my criteria for that as well. They have picked up the neighbor's cordless phone but it is easily tuned out.
Highly recommend these for those who are on a budget and want great wireless sound. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Sound Tuesday, March 17, 2009 A Customer from Ludington, MI
I tried these headphones at my brothers house and was impressed with them. The ones I purchased through Buy.com are of the same quality and at a lower price. Would recommend them to any one looking in the up to $100 range. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Headset! Tuesday, February 03, 2009 A Customer from Mansfield, Ohio
I have used this wireless headset for about 10 days or so, entirely for watching tv at night. It is well made and performs flawlessly. I am particularly impressed with the quality of the audio. The unit is also quite comfortable. I am glad I paid a little more to get a quality wireless headset. No regrets here---price was great ($69.99 plus $8.53 S/H)---quality electronic gear---and prompt delivery. Was this review helpful?

Only second set of wireless headphones I've owned. return the first set because of hissing sound. Order these for the same price and what a differance. Can leave the room and still hear clearly and was easy to tune in for great reception, light weight on your head, would buy them again Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Almost perfect Tuesday, December 09, 2008 mchaggis from FL
These are perfect for my needs: watching movies or playing the Xbox while the house sleeps. I hear no hissing and the sound quality is very good. The base/stand/charger works well and makes things easy and convenient. I like that the padding around the sides and top of the head help ease the pressure on the ear pads. I think this is why I could wear them much longer than previous pairs of head phones. Like others, my one gripe is the difficult-to-use volume and tuning knobs on the back of the right ear. Once I get them adjusted, though, they put a grin on my face! Was this review helpful?

Sound is good, but took a while to get both sides working in stereo. Seems cheaply made; foam ear covers come off easily. Definetely better reception than the Sony; less static (minimal actually), lighter and easier to jog on the treadmill with. Don't like the on/off switch (Sony was automatic) but got used to it. Overall, beats Sony hands down. Could be improved; maybe the upgraded model is, but didn't want to spend the extra money (almost double). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent value with the RS120 headphones Monday, November 17, 2008 SeattleChad from Seattle, WA
I purchased the RS120 headphones so that we could watch TV late at night without disturbing the rest of the house. They serve that purpose very well, providing excellent signal reception with no interference from other devices. For the price, sound quality is great, particularly for general TV and movie watching. I haven't listened to music with these yet, but I imagine the quality is quite acceptable for an enjoyable, wire-free experience. Very comfortable headphones, too, although I do agree with another reviewer that more of a fitted feel on the ears would be preferable to the "flat" feel of these headphones.
I debated between buying these or the RS130 headphones, and I'm glad I didn't spend the extra cash on the next model (RS130). The manually adjustable signal tuner on the RS120 works very well, with a large tuning band that provides clear reception.
I am very pleased with my purchase. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Very good headphones Friday, October 31, 2008 A Customer from Tampa, FL
I really like the headphones in general;
-- Good sound, not great but for the money come on
-- Decent range, even in my office i can walk outside and still hear them through all of the metal framed walls
-- Great price considering they are wireless and rechargeable
-- Really like the plug-less charging capability
The only thing i don't care is i'd like more of a fitted feel on the ear, rather than a flat feel. Was this review helpful?

For the price, these were a seriously good value. However, I couldn't use them because the fit was simply too wide for my head. When I put them on and tilted my head forward, they would fall off. I'm keeping all the ratings at 5 except "overall satisfaction" because I didn't even listen to these headphones. As soon as they fell off and I couldn't adjust the width tightness, I knew I had to return them. Unfortunately, the retailer I got them from through buy.com (Digital Foto Club) didn't accept returns on headphones due to "health issues and sanitary concerns". Fortunately I was able to sell them to a co-worker and he is happy with them.
I guess I have a narrow head. If you do as well, you won't like these.
I bought a pair of Shure earbuds from a local retailer instead.

This is the second set of these headphones I purchased. I bought the first set a couple of years ago for myself. This second set is a gift for my father.
The setup is simple, just plug in the power, connect to the audio-out of the device you want to listen to, charge the headphones, and you're good to go. When you first use them, you have to tune the headset to the same frequency as the base, but that's just a matter of turning the thumbwheel until you hear the audio.
Charging is made easy, just place the headset on the hanger and they charge up, ready for the next use. I've never exhausted a charge, even after using them for 2-3 hours.
Range is good, I frequently use them outside the house while gardening, cleaning the pool, etc. I can hear them anywhere in the house (like when you have to leave the room for a quick errand and don't want to miss the program you're watching) and anywhere in my yard within at least a couple of hundred feet from the base. Using Radio Frequency (instead of infrared), means the signal penetrates walls, floors, etc. - you don't have to be in line-of-sight to the base to hear the audio.
They're comfortable to wear for extended period, and do a pretty good job of isolating you from outside sound.
Two negatives (and they're minor):
1. If you have the volume turned up, you likely won't hear someone else in the room (or elsewhere in the house) calling you;
2. The Frequency they operate on WILL interfere with some wireless telephone sets. On occasion, when we answer the phone, the TV audio comes over the phone set and we can't hear the other party until we turn off the TV (or turn off the headset).

I have used wireless headphones for years and the Sennheiser RS 120 seems to be the best product I have used. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 outstanding product Saturday, May 24, 2008 Jon from Allentown, PA
This is an outstanding product. SNR is very high. Low to high frequency signals are cleanly reproduced. I had Sony before. I paid a lot more for the Sony, but I returned it because of noise and short reception distance. I am considering buying one more Sennheiser for my work place. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product, great quality Saturday, February 09, 2008 A Customer from Cheney, WA
These headphones have great transmission quality, no noticeable noise. They work anywhere in or around the outside of my house. My only qualm is the loud static that comes when the tower stops transmitting after a given break in sound output. but it is to be expected I guess, give its a radio transmitter. I bought the cordless Sennheiser RS120 headphones for work. I’ve heard horror stories of cordless headphones not working more than 6’ from the base, but these work just fine over 50’ away. The sound is very good. They are comfortable when you first put them on, but do start to hurt after several hours. The picture of them looks to be the ‘around the ear’ type, but they aren’t. If you’ve got them cranked up, other people around you can hear the music. For the price, they’re worth it, however, I would not get them if you plan on wearing them all day. Was this review helpful?

Comfortable; Works well in urban setting; Convenient charger cradle; Sound isn't audiophile quality, but for the price ......; Robust construction; Range is as advertised; Auto-tuning would be better than manual; Recommended for general A/V use; Makes neighbors happy. Was this review helpful?
