The IR headset and transmitter works as advertised. I am completely satisfied. However, the transmitter comes with a pigtail out the back. It was designed to mount in an automobile and hook up to the battery. To use it with a home TV or other audio system, you have to add a 12v power supply. Also, the unit may be easily mounted in an automobile, but it is inconvenient to shelf-mount because the pigtail comes out the bottom instead of the rear. I found it necessary to mount it on blocks so thatI didn't crush the wires.
Operation is good, range is about 40 ft., and sound is excellent. Was this review helpful?
