5 of 5 Not bad Monday, November 16, 2009 Columbia from Chicago, IL
Fast shipping. Easy to set up and use. Likes the projector, particularly in the dark. The sound of the radio is OK. Most of all, the value is unbeatable. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Almost a 5 Sunday, March 22, 2009 badgervan from Green Bay, Wisconsin
Decent clock, which I bought mainly for the projection feature. Larger than expected, clock face easy to read day or night. The only complaints are ease of use ( lots of settings ) and the projected time on the ceiling is smaller than I would like. Overall, a good purchase. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent value Monday, March 16, 2009 A Customer from Burlington VT
For the money, even with the few complaints from other reviewers, it is a great value. My wife and I love it. Was this review helpful?

This is a great product. It is good in projecting the time on the wall. But i do feel that it is designed to project time on the ceiling. The projector attached to the clock can only be moved to point the ceiling or the wall facing the clock. It cannot be moved to point the wall on the back of the clock. So ideally you have to keep the clock behind your head to see the projection time and the clock. This could be improved.

5 of 5 Love this clock Monday, December 08, 2008 A Customer from Oregon
I absolutely love this clock. And the projection display is big enough to read. The only thing I wish was different was the snooze button was a little bigger on this one. But other than that, I love this clock, I actually have 2! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The functions Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Bill from Hillsboro OR
way easy to set or reset alarm time or time, I have it set on my headboard cabinet (above my head) so the also easy to set projection clock is easily visible in a dark room right side up, this replaced a Phillips alarm LCD clock where the display was only visible if I was above it and that sucked wind as it was 30 bucks and resetting time on it was a mind bending event, you want an easy to use alarm clock, this one is one I can recommend to my Mom, the radio works well also Was this review helpful?

Good product. The only problem is that you have to place the clock in a certain position (not facing you) in order to see the projected time not in mirror image Was this review helpful?

I just got the clock for a couple of days and overall I like it. The green LED looks pleasant day or night. The projected red numbers are about the right intensity at night (but too weak during daylight). A backup battery can be used to keep the clock running and preserve the alarm setting during power interruption (but the display is off). The price is good. Two negative points: 1. The projection clock is a second clock and has to be set separately. 2. The projection clock can only rotate vertically (when projected backwards, the numbers are upside down). I needed a new alarm clock, so I ended up with a choice between this jWIN projection clock or an atomic (self setting) clock. I obviously chose the projection clock. It serves its purpose, but the projection thing isn't worth much.
Here are some positive and negative things about the product (in the order they come to mind).
Pros:
1) The alarm is easy to set, and it goes off when asked.
2) The radio is loud, crisp, and clear. There is an antenna wire attached to the clock.
3) The projection device will easily project ~10-15 feet away, and the focus knob enables the user to clearly see the time at whatever distance (within a bedroom sized space) is comfortable.
Cons:
1) The projection part of the clock is basically its own device. You have to set it separately from the alarm clock portion of the clock.
2) The projected time can only be seen in the dark (unless you stare at the wall for 5 minutes--then you can barely make out the time).
3) The projection device has an on/off switch. It would be ideal if the projection could be set to come on 30 minutes before and after an alarm is set to go off, or even if it would come on for 30 minutes or so whenever a button was pressed. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 alarm clock radio Saturday, March 29, 2008 A Customer from Germantown,Tn.
The clock and radio work fine. The only problem is the projection on the wall. The wall that mine is on the numbers are backwards. I know it sounds stupid but that's the way it works. It's adjustable but not enough. Unfortunatley that is why I bought it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Not bad Saturday, March 29, 2008 A Customer from Pittsburgh, PA
I purchased this as well as the Oregon Scientific projection clock. My husband and I both have pretty poor vision, so we wanted to test both of them out. We ended up keeping both of them. But this one is much tougher to read, but my vision is also -5.25. I can read the Oregon Scientific with greater ease. The only other beef I have is that it does't have a dual alarm function. I like having two alarms, one I can set during he week and one for the weekend. Other than that, it's very easy to set and use. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Decent alarm clock for the price Sunday, December 09, 2007 A Customer from Newport News, VA
Only complaint is that digital time projection is not that large (displays about 6 inches in height from a distance of 8 feet. Digits on alarm clock itself are somewhat smaller compared to other alarm clocks also. However, great price for a projection alarm clock. I have horrible vision, but I can now see the time on the wall or ceiling at night when in bed! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Projection Clocks at Great Prices Tuesday, November 06, 2007 gaynel13 from Indianapolis, IN
I have one of these clocks - projects the time on the ceiling. It's such a good clock that I've since bought everyone on my family one. And now I'm working on friends. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Not much to add Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Cartersville GA
Nothing much to add to the previous reviews. The projector clock loses about 1 minute every 2 days when running exclusively off 120v plug (Haven't installed batteries and since it's easily adjusted it's not really a big deal). The radio clock stays pretty accurate. Was this review helpful?

The projection works great, like the feature of back up battery and brightness of time display. Was this review helpful?

I got hooked on projection clocks with one of those Atomic clocks from Oregon Scientific. It broke, so I did some research to find a replacement (I didn't want to spend as much). I found this one, and so far I am satisfied.
Good things: Nice green LED on the clock; clear focus of the red projection LED
Not-so-good: For some reason, the time setting on the projection LED is separate from the front green LEDs! There are actually 2 clocks - one in the base, and one in the projection head; I would also have liked to see the projection head rotate as well as pivot (the digits are upright only if you view them in-line with the way the clock faces out).
