2 of 5 Wish I hadn't bought this remote Monday, April 14, 2008 sdhwah from Travelers Rest, SC
Can't get remote to work my dish network satelite thats 98% of our use! Customer service has helped all they can but they can't get it to run because the sat receiver broadcast signal via UHF and this remote will only work on IR signal.
Only got stereo receiver to work, had to get additional codes & downloads for cd player (still not working), tv, dvd/vcr all to work. It has been a hassle! Was this review helpful?

1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Best for the price Thursday, January 10, 2008 B from Atlanta, GA
I had to spend 15 minutes for the initial setup. It works without any issues. I don't have many devices to control (TV, cable box, sound amplifier, DVD player) but it does the job it's intended to do successfully. The macros are excellent. You only have to touch a button and your TV experience starts right away. I didn't have to use the learning mode, I didn't have to call CS, because the codes from the book worked with my devices, so I can't talk about this. Also, I didn't try the RF/IR extender.
Cons: the buttons have an annoying pink light (sure, you can disable it, but a more pleasant color would be better); it comes without batteries (I was so ready to start using it... but I had to take a trip to the gas station, to buy batteries), it is kind of big and heavy, but lighter than 4 remotes it replaces, though. The remote works as expected. In order for the remote to work throughout, it needs it's sensor pointed at the item it's controling. Unfortunately, it only has one sensor so you need to aim it real well so it works more than one unit. If you can handle this, the remote works pretty well though some buttons are missing for Cablevision's DVR functionality. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Unbelieveable useful remote Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Mike Hart from Beaumont, TX
After trying almost every type of universal remote on the market, including the Harmony , I have found this to be everything it promises. It controls many devices out of box but if your device isn't listed, a call to the mfg. and they will offer an over-the-telephone or a computer download upgrade.
It is a very simple user interface with a short learning curve. Finally I found a remote to do what I need! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The Perfect Remote Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Ron H from Austin, TX
Can't say enough good things about this remote. It operates my satellite, my old tv, my receiver, my dvd player and when I push one button, it turns them all on at the same time.
For the price, a real bargain. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome- Works as Advertised Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Don_DeChamps from New Franken, WI
Awesome! I bought this many months ago to control my cable box downstairs. When I could not get it to work with my Motorola cable box, I set it aside. I had entered the Motorola Cable code that was in the manual and the website. Last Monday, I had to take the day off of work to fix the hot water heater and while I was "fixing" things the remote problem came across my mind. I contacted tech support for the remote to see if there were any other codes for the particular model cable box I have. Yes there is! I wish I would of contacted them sooner! Does an awesome job of controlling all functions of my cable box which is downstairs in the theater room. I have the theater cable outputs run throughout the house to other tv's(to get the digital stations), but always had to go downstairs to select a new channel from the theater feed or worse fire up the theater room to view the online cable guide and pay per view. Now I can activate the guide from the couch upstairs with this remote. My wife loves it! Works as advertised (with the right code). I used the download method to update my remote and it worked without a hitch the first time. Very good directions came with the download. The only con I have is that the power button is right above the directional up arrow and I often hit the power button by mistake. User error. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Some great features. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Redmond OR
This remote has a couple of great features to consider. </p>
1) A GREAT ALARM CLOCK! Their is a built in clock and you can program macros to execute at a particular time. I have mine programmed to turn on my stereo every morning, set the stereo to select TV, turn on the TV and then raise the volume of the TV. This works great until I go out of town for a week and come home to the stereo playing at full volume.</p>
2) RF Remote. I have the RF receiver / IR transmitter setup in my bedroom to point at my equipment. It does not matter where the remote is pointed the commands always work. The remote can be lost in the sheets or under the bed and it will still wake me up in the morning.</p>
3) Lighted keys.</p>
</p>
Cons:</p>
1) Radioshack used to market this same remote under their name with a slightly different layout. It had a nicer layout.</p>
2) One for all used to allow you to download codes for every remote code an equipment manufacture supports. This was great as you could access functions not available on the oem remote. Like power on and power off instead of the usual toggle power. It is a shame one for all does not offer this any more.</p>
3) Only one remote per household is practical. It would be nice to have the same remote in the livingroom as the bedroom but this is not practical because there is only one available RF channel.</p> Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great Remote Can Do Almost Anything. Saturday, September 22, 2007 Mark from St. Louis, MO
Let me start by saying that this is my first universal remote (besides the really crappy ones from Wal-Mart), so my opinion might be a bit unreliable. This is an awesome device. When I first got it, it did not control my HD DVR or my TV. I called up the customer service. They asked me if I had a land line (I didn't, I only use a cell phone), so they sent me an email with a sound file that had the codes for both my TV and DVR. It was as simple as putting the remote in programming mode and sticking it up to my speaker. So if this doesn't control your devise just give customer service a call and they should fix u up. Even if for some reason they do not have your device in their library, I think that there is a way they can "steal" the signal from the devices original remote. The macro keys are awesome. You can program a sequence of events. For example, when I hit the power button my receiver, my cable box, and my TV all come on and then the remote programs back to the cable input. Another added perk (the reason I selected this remote) was that it had a remote extender. Since I use one receiver to control two rooms (a/b speakers) I am able to control my receiver from anywhere in my apartment. Now I haven't tried to control it over real long distances since I only live in a 2 bedroom apartment, but I can say that it works from anywhere in my apartment. The placement of the ir/rf receiver is a little tricky. The direction say to place it 6 feet directly in front of your devices, mine is about 12 feet away from my receiver and it is behind a sheer curtain and it works great. I first had it mounted off to the side of all my equipment and it worked for the TV but not the receiver. Another great perk is the learning device and Keymover. If you want a button (besides inputs and setup button) to control a certain thing all you have to do is put the remote in ir learning mode, hit the button you want to be programmed and hold your old remote up to the new remote and hold the button on your old remote (the one you want on your new remote), now the new remotes button will be programmed. Lastly, there is a mode swap feature that allows you to control more than one of a certain device. For example if you have 2 TVs and 2 DVD players you can control both by putting the second TV on a different device button. I haven't found anything that I wanted to do that this remote wasn't able to do. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great remote at a Great value! Wednesday, July 25, 2007 BJ from Kent, WA
I bought this remote to replace a Sony universal remote that has a few more features and couldn't be happier! While the Sony has more features, the One remote is so much easier to use - no scrolling menus & sub-menus to get to all the functionality it offers, just the press of a button. And honestly, unless you have a huge high-end system with tons of gagdets, who really needs to control 8 (or more like the Sony will) components. I haven't tried the radio frequency receiver yet, but plan to soon - its just an added bonus! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Last Remote You'll Ever Buy Thursday, July 19, 2007 Ryan Remote Lover from Malibu, California
This remote is amazing. The RF extender is awsome - I can use the remote from anywhere in my house. I needed an update for one of my components so I called tech support and they were awsome - I'm not racist or anything, but was nice to speak to an American who spoke English. They updated my remote over the phone. When the lady asked me to hold the remote up to the phone I thought she was joking, but there is some sort of mic in the remote that can hear sound bytes and receive the update. Amazing technology. As for learning capabilities - It is very useful, but memory tops out at about 25 learned functions - plenty for most people. Ok, so I was more than satisfied with everything, and then I discovered JP1 CAPABILITIES! I didn't even know what JP1 was, but I bought a JP1 cable and downloaded everything for free online. I've hacked into the programing and now this thing can practically control my house. Amazing product, Amazing price too with Google Checkout discount. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great value Sunday, July 15, 2007 Jason from Hollis, NH
I got this remote because my DVD player remote was lost and I wanted to have just one unit to control all my devices. I'm very satisfied with the exception that it does not control my protable DVD player made by Audiovox. It is a model 1680 that is several years old. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Sweet! Thursday, July 05, 2007 Dave Vogel from Baltimore, MD
Inexpensive, controls everything I own, easy to set up, love it! When setting up my TV, I was dismayed to not find it in the book, called the company, was sent an email with a sound file, held my remote up to my speakers and it programmed itself! Good customer service!
Glad I bought. Was this review helpful?

Very good for the price.
I could use some more buttons for my cable box with DVR. And more memory for IR learning.
The only problem is the ergonomics. The remote is too big to use and the buttons are located in inconvenient location comparing with Logitech remotes.

5 of 5 Great Remote Wednesday, June 27, 2007 Dan from Frederick MD
This remote has it all. A learning feature to learn any function of your existing remotes. A JP1 interface to program your remote via your PC (if you are so inclined). An IR/RF converter. This means you don't have to point your remote at the device you want to control (very handy if you have a picky device that only responds if you point the remote directly at it).
I used the learning feature on this remote to record all the keys on my XM radio remote control (this is an unusual remote that no one has codes for). I then uploaded these codes to my PC using a JP1 cable and free software. I then built my own XM radio upgrade and downloaded it to the remote. This was very easy to do and it works great.
I recently installed speakers on my deck. I can now bring my remote outside and control my XM radio and Onkyo receiver with ease.
I actually had to buy another one of these units so both my wife and I can each have one. At < 30 bucks how can you go wrong?

5 of 5 Great Remote! Great Price! Friday, June 22, 2007 A Customer from Syracuse, NY
Bought this remote to control a Panasonic VCR/DVD combo after the original died. Other “universal” remotes we tried could not run it, and this one didn’t out of the box. However, they have a neat feature, contact their support site and they can send you a .WAV file that adds codes to your remote. Told them the model numbers and they sent the right codes. Couple features still were not a 100%, but that was fixed with their flexible key mapping and IR learning features. Can even program a macro key to turn on the TV, set it to channel 4, then turn on the VCR, ALL on one key (for us lazy folks)! Very minor ergonomic issues. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Got my Wife's Seal of Approval Friday, June 22, 2007 Mark from Raleigh, NC
Not too many of the electronic gadgets thatI buy do I find my wife thanking me afterwards but with this one, she certainly did. Being newly married and still getting used to my house, my wife had been struggling trying to figure out all the remotes I had and what they operated. She sat in bewildermant many a time I was not home just trying to figure out how to watch tv or a movie. Well, with this remote all is good now as she quickly mastered it because of it's ease of use and logical layout. The 4 additional learning keys combined with the 3 macros have allowed me to fully replicate all of my old remotes into one as well as setup the macros so she can switch back and forth from watching tv to a movie with the touch of a button.
Setup for me was a breeze thanks to the well written manual and the manufacturer's customer service was great when I had to call them inorder about upgrading the unit inorder to control my off brand DVD player. For the price, the RF transmitter reciever feature is very nice bonus. The functionality of my reciever's universal RF remote had died and hince for the last year I have been regulated to the stone ages of having to get up and go to the media closet to do anything with the reciever or DVD. Now I can sit back in the comfort of my easy chair and regain control of my electronics without having to get up to pause or fast forward a movie. I also like the ability to map keys from other remote functions to another remote function using the key mapper. I can now put the the TV volume control on the Sat function so my wife doesn not have to switch back and forth between input devices on the remote to control the volume on the TV when in SAT mode.
It may not be the greatest Universal Remote for everyone but for the price and the features it is for me. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 5 Star Incredible Value!!! Friday, June 22, 2007 Bill from Oaxaca, Mexico
My friends recommended the expensive name brand remotes but for the price I thought I'd try this one. It is incredible!!! I bought it because my Leap Frog remote was not working well. I paid around $50 for the leap frog and all it did was convert the infra red remote signals to radio signals. That feature is included in this remote plus so much more. I always forgot to turn on one component with my home theater. With this remote I have programmed one key to turn on all the components. There will always be some feature on the product remote which is not included on a remote like this but the extra buttons and learning features work perfectly so those features can be added. I like having the time on the remote too. I don't know why this product was on sale. It is worth many times what I paid for it. Another winner from buy.com with free shipping too. 5 of 5 Still ticking - One year and a few drops later Friday, June 22, 2007 A Customer from CT
I bought this remote over a year ago and it works as advertised. I have a home theater system in the basement with speakers upstairs. I can control the system from anywhere in the house without any problems. Works with all my equipment. <br>
It has programmable macros that will turn on equipment in a certain sequence - I hit a single button to first turn on the receiver, switch the input to CD, output to the speakers upstairs, and then hit play on the CD changer.<br>
My toddler dropped it a couple of times, so I put it on top of the fridge, from where it fell down while I was getting a box of cereal but it still works. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome remote! Wednesday, June 20, 2007 Kevman from Northridge, CA
This remote has replaced 5 others at my house. With RF and an included receiver and IR emitter, this remote is amazing. Customer service is great too! They can upgrade your remote with new codes over the phone. Macros, home theatre mode, and nice backlight make this remote a keeper. It is fully compatible with all the electronic devices in my home theatre setup. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Works well, but confusing Wednesday, June 20, 2007 A Customer from Old Bridge, NJ
Product now says unavailable, but I'll write a review anyway.
I like it for the price, I like the backlighting feature. It wasn't difficult getting used to the major keys. It's a little cumbersome to program your devices onto it, you have to follow the sequence very carefully. If you don't do it within the specified time limit, it resets. My Onkyo receiver and Liteon VCR-DVD combo didn't have codes that worked, but I was helped with upgrade by a customer service rep. The Liteon still doesn't work, the Onkyo does. I've to place another call. The keys for the Onkyo receiver to switch components has only a couple of them showing up, instead of the 8 programmed into Onkyo remote. Looks like there will be a lot of manual work to be done to get this to work fully.
But all that said, it does work very well and for the price it's well worth it. I plan to eventually get a Harmony type remote and use this for my bedroom simple TV/DVD/Cable/VCR setup. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Like A Charm Tuesday, June 19, 2007 SEinson from Batavia, Ohio
This is the third unit that I have bought in the last 18 months as we now have wide screen flat panel HD sets that require DirecTV HD receiver control in addition to TV function control. The units are easy to program, and in one case required a download from the URC web site to control an HD DVR.
The unit also handles a DVD player and a CD player with ease. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The perfect solution Tuesday, June 19, 2007 A Customer from Cazenovia, NY
This was the perfect remote for my situation. I have an LCD TV in the living room with the satellite receiver hidden in the basement. I wanted a remote that could control both of those devices and at least five other pieces of equipment. The rf/ir combination does the trick without an extra receiver/transmitter. Best of all, it's JP1 programmable so that it will never be obsolete. I'm finally down to one remote. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great remote control with perhaps one caveat Tuesday, June 19, 2007 SParikh from Framingham, MA
This remote pretty much does it all. What I like about it is that the layout is a pretty standard cable/dvd type layout with the select button in the middle, 4 arrows, and volume/channel up/down on the left and right. I like the fact that the LCD display helps me figure out what the remote is doing, what device i'm on, etc. Can't beat this remote for so cheap. It really does work from anywhere in the house. Now I just need to get out of the habit of pointing the remote at the devices as I no longer need to!
The only issue that I have come across so far is that after programming all of my components into the remote (6 preprogrammed and some learning buttons), I now get a MEMORY FULL message which is a little dissappointing considering I haven't really done that much programming yet.
I hope there's something I'm missing and I can get past this. Other than that, this remote is a no brainer for the price! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 very satisfied Friday, June 08, 2007 A Customer from colorado
I am very satisfied with this product. I have not had any
problems with learning codes filling up memory, I have taught
it 15 to 20, I have even taught it the codes for my IPOD dock.
It is easy to program and use, considering that I demand that
it do a lot. It did not have the codes for my sherwood receiver,
but since I only need volume and power because I only use this
to power 2 more sets of speakers I was able to teach the L1-L4
keys this under the main receiver. I was concerned about using
the RF feature in the same room as the IR equipment, but I found
that I could even point the remote at the TV and it would not send
the command twice. It is the only remote I need. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 One For All For Sure Tuesday, June 05, 2007 Daniel G. from Greenwich, CT
I've been using my URC9910 for a little over a year now and it's still going strong even after being dropped a few times. In one of those drops the remote 1st hit the ground on the end where the IR lens is. The IR and rest of the remote worked fine afterwards but most of the LCD is unreadable. I'm still able to make out enough of the text to operate the remote and that’s testament to how well built this remote is.
I'm disabled and it's hard for me to get around. I live in a small apartment w/my AV receiver and one cable box in my living room, which is adjacent to my bedroom. I've got long cables going from the cable box to my bedroom TV and a pair of speakers in my bedroom hooked to the AV receiver.
The URC9910 allows me to change cable channels, change radio stations on the receiver, power up my CD jukebox and change tracks, discs, play mode etc. The macro function is very cool, I've got mine setup to power up my receiver & CD player and start playing CDs but it can do so much more. Of course, I can also use the remote to control the electronics in my bedroom too.
I highly recommend this remote!

I bought this remote to control my DVR -- located on the other side of my house and one floor below -- from my upstairs office. (I have two signals leaving the DVR, one to a nearby TV and one that is carried to the office.) The remote works great for this purpose. The RF capabilities are advertised as working up to 100' when unobstructed. That sounds about right to me. I have about a 50-60' straight-line shot through a floor, a couple walls, and some furniture, and the remote still works over 90% of the time. Sometimes I have to change its orientation or location slightly to get it to work, but it's well worth it. The remote easily took over the functionality of the office TV, VCR, and DVD as well as the cable company's DVR (including replay and 30-second skip). I also have an older URC8810 remote, which I also love, but the 9910 is MUCH easier to program. The LCD screen makes it a breeze compared to the old way.
I dropped the rating for performance from 5 to 4 only because of the 10% of the time I have to move the remote around a little, but otherwise it works flawlessly. This is a great remote. Was this review helpful?

I own one of these, and bought my father one as well. I am now buying another one for my upstairs theatre room. This remote is incredible. The upgradeable option is amazingly cool and easy. They even have codes for my new Xbox360 and my Panasonic projector. The RF part of it is the real kicker though. Being in another room and still having the ability to control all of your A/V equipment is top notch. They have great support and will even email you the descrete codes to add more options to your remote. Very easy, works like a charm. Was this review helpful?

This remote does it all. It will control almost everything you have. I spent thousands in my home theater but decided to only go for this remote. Why? Because it includes the RF capability without the hassle of purchasing an "RF extender." This unit learns the capabilities that were not included in its database. The negative aspect is that it cannot learn everything you throw at it because its memory will get full after it learns about 20 codes. It does not control my Outlaw Audio 950 preamp all that well, I made it learn the codes but still have to press the same button multiple times to get a result. However, it controls everything else perfectly, including my Sony HDMI DVD player and my Comcast HD DVR. The buttons could use a little more feedback. I did not go for the "Kameleon" version because I could not have navigated the remote by using the guidance of textile feedback from the buttons alone. Without any buttons, I would have had to constantly look down at the remote whenever I wanted to push a button. At a little over $30, you cannot find a better deal in universal home theater remotes. Ok., I don't write reviews normally and this one forced me to speak for it. <br/><br/>
It just replaced my following remotes...<br/>
1. TV <br/>
2. DVD<br/>
3. VCR<br/>
4. CBL<br/>
5. SAT (I have this for international channels only, just if you wonder why I have both CBL & SAT)<br/>
...and soon to be added HT reciever.<br/>
MY wify asks if she can control Microwave, Washer & Dryer etc., too bad they don't have a IR receier :) <br/><br/>
It took me 15 minutes to read instructions and set this up for all above said devices... yup it is that easy. It took me 30 minutes to go buy AAA battery from my local store as they didn't include... arggghh. I also personally didn't like the choice of AAA size batteries. Common, who in the world use AAA baterries anymore. <br/>
Now all my 5 remotes are going into some storage box. My 10 month old son is the only one who hates this URC9910 because he just lost 5 of his favorite toys. :)<br/>
If you are like me juggling 4 to 6 remotes go for this one... you wouldn't regret. For 30$ some this the best one out there period.<br/><br/>
Oh, one more thing. I did not see a code mentioned for my Dish Network sat box and I figured it took Echostar code.

5 of 5 Very Nice Remote Thursday, July 07, 2005 A Customer from Lincoln, NE
Had this remote for a couple months now, have yet to replace the batteries and i use it daily. I had 8 remotes prior to getting this one, now i have 9, but only have to use this one. It learns very easily. I wish it had more then 3 Macro buttons though. My TV sometimes does not respond to the remote, not sure if it is the TV or remote, but after a a couple more presses of the button the TV will finally respond. Overall the remote saves me a lot of time, no more searching for remotes.

While in college I had a similiar one for all remote in which I loved. Back then, I paid $100 and had no qualms about paying the price for the features I was receiving. Eight years later, I think this remote is superior in its updated design and features. Plus the price could not be beat. I paid $35 for this remote and use it to control my theater system daily. In addition, I use it so that I am able to control audio to my patio speakers while outside. Was this review helpful?

I did have to call OFA to get codes to try for TIVO, but this little, inexpensive remote is now controlling my 3 year old home theater system, my brand new Toshiba TV, my 10-year-old Sony TV, a 5-year old AIWA shelf stereo, 2 Tivos and an 12 year old VCR! I taught it about 25 buttons, and no sign of the memory filling up yet. I've never had a remote control before where I needed to read the directions, but I did and the setup was a breeze once I did that, and even my 6 and 9 year-old kids are now happily using the remote (without reading the directions!), better than the remote we've had for the last 5 year. It's very intuitive, and we love it. Gotta go order another one for upstairs. Was this review helpful?

This remote exceeded my expectations. Of utmost importance was volume lock capability, allowing you to lock the volume from one mode onto another mode. I have a Dish Network receiver, that I use in two scenarios. For everyday viewing, I just run it through my TV, but on occasion, we do a PPV movie that has 5.1, which I want to run through the AV receiver. For everyday TV viewing, I locked the TV volume to the Sat mode. For AV listening, I copied the Sat functions to my unused Aux mode, then locked the AV receiver volume to the Aux. This inexpensive universal is the best I've ever used. The only thing it lacks is contoured buttons. Was this review helpful?

Worked great as per expectations. The RF controls a satellite rec/pioneer rec./tv/dvd player/vcr player from upper/lower rooms as well as the same plus 3 more tvs and a second sattelite rec(same brand) via infrared only. This is a great buy in my book and much less than comparable manufacturers. Nice to have a subtle backlight also. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This is the best value in remotes. Saturday, November 06, 2004 A Customer from Herrin, IL
I don't need to elaborate, get this remote. It runs everything. I bought a new name TV and the code wasn't in the remote. I called support and they programmed the new code into my remote over the phone. If your batteries run down, no problem, the codes are burned in memory, no resetting or relearning. The rf is great also. Could pay many times more and get less. I know of no other remote that comes close to this in value. And the quality is good also. I have 2 other cheaper remotes of same brand that are 5 yrs old and work fine. Can not find any cons with this remote. If shortened battery life with lighting always on is a con, then that is the only one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This is the real deal... Thursday, August 12, 2004 Dave from Dudley, MA
Unbelieveable! RF transmitter allows me to use outdoors listening to MUSICCHOICE on my patio speakers. Three macros...
I used m1 for master power, m2 to turn off tv and vcr and switch to patio speakers, and m3 to return to normal! I have an xbox I use as a dvd player. I used the learning feature to learn the xbox basic codes. The company website has the upgrade code available! I'm picky... this is for real.
PS- Works without fail throughout the house and yard. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Lowest price - Greatest Remote Monday, July 12, 2004 rwl7532 from Everett, WA
As I was creating my home theater system, it became obvious that I needed a universal remote. After some research I found the URC-9910. Not only was it a learning remote with macro capabilities, it also came with the RF Link. The RF unit allows control without the hassle of corners of tables or other furniture getting in the way of the signal. I did order a JP1 cable (elsewhere) for it allowed reprogramming via my computer.
The URC-9910 can be found for $79 or here for much less.
You will love this remote!! Was this review helpful?

I purchased it to control DirecTV TIVO Sony Sat T-60. Many functions were preprogrammed, others were readily learned. Works from 70 feet around corners, as long as doors are open.

I am finally down to just one remote. I was using six. I now use my One for All URC-9910 to control my Sharp Tv, Aiwa stereo, JVC DVD, Sony VCR, GE VCR, and my ReplayTV 5540 DVR. And I have total control over all of these devices. With the RF link I can be in any room in the house and control the volume on my stereo. One of the best devices I have ever bought.
