5 of 5 Simple to install and use, great video Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Don from Derby NY
I am not a web cam expert but in my opinion, this is a great product. I am using Windows XP Pro and the installation was a snap. The software is simple to use and very intuitive. The video looks great to me. I have not tried the various visual effects, just plain old what you see is what you get. The camera looks like it is well made. I own several Logitech devices and they all work flawlessly with no problems.
I like it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wired In Immediately! Sunday, April 12, 2009 A Customer from Chicago, IL
This item was purchased from Buy.com's Internet presence on eBay. The experience was horrendous. Money was quickly received by the Seller, and then there was a wait. After about 3 weeks, checked the shipping info and confirmed that the webcam had never left the warehouse! No one to call when you purchase from their eBay outlet. I was constrained to file a paypal dispute. All of a sudden, this caught Buy.com's attention and they checked. Sure enough, product had not been sent.
When the webcam arrived, it snapped in and immediately worked. Very high quality cam with high quality sound and terrific software.
I like this camera and highly recommend it. You may think twice, though, about where you purchase it. Was this review helpful?

I needed the camera for video conferencing, so a bought this one based on Logitech's reputation and previous experience with their products.
Setup was a snap. I was figuring things out with little use of the manual after initial installation.
Went and got Skype and setup there was a breeze. The video conference went well after we did a couple reboots of a modem and my computer and ran fewer applications in the background. Smooth action, good fidelity audio, virtually no freezups and no drop outs -- after the reboots.
Some may find this stuff a little intimidating. But if you're patient and have a wonk nearby to help, it's really going to be worth it. Yes, this camera costs a little more, but the quality of image and sound is worth it.
And if you can get your friends from afar to get set up with a webcam, you can video phone just like the sci fi movies. It ain't sci fi any longer.
My friends in Austin, TX and I are linking up through Skype. Good fun. Was this review helpful?

I bought two. One for myself and one for my 88 year old mom. Both of us think it's easy to use and love it. It has quick focusing, almost subtitutes for having to be there, and now she can talk and view with more friends and family. Was this review helpful?

The camera works great. I have no problem with it. The mounting on the monitor is just a little weak, but I don't know how they could make it better and still fit all types of monitors. It's fine if you don't bang it around. You do need to download the drivers and software from their site to make it work really well instead of using the cd packed with it. I like it. Great picture and sound. I can see and talk to my grandaughter in England almost like we are in the same room for free. You can't beat that deal! Was this review helpful?

Made this purchase primarily to video chat via Skype. Camera was found by windows w/o an issue and skype works great. Even Logitech's software isn't too bad and has some nice tuning effects. Works great in low light, mic is pretty good. I also like the stand that makes it easy to mount the cam on top my LCD. Very happy with purchase! Was this review helpful?

The quality compares to using a HD camcorder for a webcam. It's just works so prefect and straight forward (easy) that I made all my friends and family members buy one. It's worth the price tag ($70 - $130) if not more. Was this review helpful?
