After reading the reviews, I purchased this TV because I wanted a clear picture. I am extremely satisfied, especially given that we are just using an attic antenna to pick up the digital and analog stations. The price on Buy.com was much lower than the price at our nearby retail stores. Shipping was very fast; I ordered on Friday and received the TV the following Wednesday via UPS. The TV fit well into our built-in space and the TV stand swivels so we have it turned slightly to allow for better viewing from the side.

I bought this a few weeks back and I am totally satisfied with the product so far. Samsung is definitely the best HDTV maker even though their products are a little expensive. I think it is better to go for good quality rather than trying to save some money in the short term. But my only concern disappointment was that I initially bought this from Buy.com but they took more than 2 weeks to even ship it. So, I canceled it and bought the same product for a cheaper price from Marketplace and it got shipped the same day. But to make matters worse, the other product also got shipped a day after and I ended up with two TV's! But at least buy.com was quick in giving back my money as soon as I shipped it back and they also gave me a $10 coupon as a note of customer satisfaction! Anyways getting back to the TV, it is definitely better than the 3 series and I got it for a great deal (cheaper than the 3 series). The only issue I would say is that it takes more than a full second to change channels, which is sometime irritating. Otherwise the picture and sound quality are great! I totally recommend it to others.

I research tvs for awhile and found that this was the one I wanted. A friend told me about buy.com and i compared it with the one I found at best buy. It was the same exact TV (model number) but at a much better price. The difference was almost $200! If you are looking for this TV, you should def. buy it here.

If you don't need lots of HDMI hookups, but want THE BEST picture, this is the one to buy. If you don't know how much of a difference the "blacker blacks" make, compare the 32A450 (or any Samsung) side by side with the competition. No brainer. Especially at this price. Enjoy!

Since the other reviews are brief, I will try to provide a longer review.I looked and looked at TV's at Worst Buy (Best Buy) and finally decided on this Samsung. I was stuck with 3 brands, Sony, Sharp, and then Samsung. Then I was down to the Sony Bravia 32" or the Samsung 32". Overall I think the Samsung is brighter and has a cleaner picture which is why I bought this particular one. Now onto the Samsung! Shipping: Buy.com shipped the TV to my door for about $180 less than Worst Buy could sell it to me for which is great! Shipping was fast, but I was a little disappointed that there was no outerpacking over the box the TV sits in on store shelves. UPS managed to break the inside styrofoam blocking, but fortunately it was enough to protect the TV.Aesthetics: The TV looks VERY classy. I like the hidden speakers, the finish is nice and shiny, and the stand is stable and swivels. Connections/Features: This TV has a plethora of connections, way more than I will ever need. All are easily accessible, and I like the headphone jack on the side because right now all I have is computer speakers to use instead of the stock speakers. Performance: I can't believe how well this TV performs. I have put it through the paces with plenty of movies, and haven't found anything that it can't handle. I have also hooked up my Xbox 360 to it. I was worried about response time but there is absolutely no lag. I have played Forza2 and of course GTA4 and found nothing to complain about. I am still connected to regular cable, and I will warn you that regular TV on an LCD is terrible, but the few HD channels that my cable provider does carry are AWESOME, I can't wait for Feb. 2009. I watched some golf and baseball games and they were amazing. What amazed me most was Iowa Public Television, that channel is provided in HD and has some outstanding shows, better picture than the demo discs that play on the TV's in stores. Rather hard to explain in words, you just have to see it. Other odds and ends...the TV gets warm like all LCD's, nothing unusual or to complain about. It also takes about 5-6 seconds for the picture to come on but I am patient and it doesn't matter to me. I haven't yet fine tuned the TV but my interaction with the menu has shown me it isn't exactly intuitive. I haven't ever owned or bought a TV (I'm 21 and in college with a roommate with no TV, so I had to buy one...good excuse right?) but I couldn't be any happier with my first TV purchase or be happier with a different TV. Ordered the set over the weekend, received it the next Friday. Great TV, great buy.com service. I'm not the biggest videophile around, but I "studied" fairly hard before ordering the LN32A450. It's great looking and has a wonderful picture, even on our plain ol' cable signal. In our living room, it has an "easy on the eye" appeal, a bit like I associate with a plasma set. The 32A450 was selected over the Panasonic TC-32LX85, which looked equally good to me at Best Buy during an audition. (Because the TV had to fit into an armoire it actually mattered that the Samsung was about a inch less wide.)

I am very pleased with this tv for the bedroom. It has good sound and picture. It's very thin profile and fits well in a small space.

This TV came delivered as promised. We were able to track its delivery via ups.com, which was very reassuring. I did not get any weird phone calls from the online vendor, as was discussed on other websites' reviews of buy.com. When the TV arrived, it was in perfect condition. The picture is beautiful, the sound is great, and it was very easy to mount on the wall. We are thrilled!

The set was purchased for my son. I was worried about having the set shipped, but it arrived in perfect condition due to the packaging. My son is totally satisfied with the set. I am planning to purchase a second one for my bedroom.
