DeLonghi ESAM3300 Esclusivo Magnifica Super-Automatic Espresso/Coffee Machine

I purchased this model around 15 months ago in an attempt to reduce our out-of-control coffee shop expenses. We use this machine every day to make ‘crema’ coffee, and also to make caps and lattes a few times a week. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and has not failed us yet. I suspect it has probably paid for itself by now since it also saves us money on coffee beans (it is more 'efficient' than a drip machine). My only wants would be for a larger water reservoir so we could go longer between fill-ups, and just a little more clearance under the pour spout to fit our taller coffee mugs. We usually get around this limitation by just using a frothing pitcher and then transferring the coffee to a mug.

I've owned an earlier model of this machine for 3 years. The machine is used daily by me and my wife, and I would estimate that we've made something on the order of 2 to 3 thousand shots of Espresso. The only issue encountered is that the hinge broke on the bean cover, which isn't really a big deal because the cover lays securely over the bin. I have no comment on the frother/steamer as we've literally never used it. Instead we heat the milk in the microwave, and as a result a weekly light cleaning of the machine is all it takes. I'd buy this machine again in a second.
