Camera is a little buggy on my parents computer. The sound cuts in and out at random from the microphone, but the camera works fine and I got it at a great price.

I bought the Labtec Webcam Pro 6.0 as a gift for my daughter. I installed it on my computer as a trial, to make certain the camera was not defective. It is easy to install, easy to use. The picture, however, is not as clear as I had hoped. At night, it is very dark in a room with overhead light. In the daytime with natural light coming in the windows, it has a better picture. Overall, I would say the webcam is good for the low cost. My daughter will receive the webcam as a birthday gift, Janurary 18th. I think she will enjoy it.

BRIGHT room lighting is barely sufficient enough for a decent picture. Even then the color is off and the picture is extremely contrasty. I'd love to have my money back; used it once was very disappointed since I do not plan to sit outdoors during the day to use this camera!! Really liked the snapshot feature though!

This is probably the easiest and best value for the money I have ever spent on webcams.. Ideal for chatting and video conferencing. I don't have any complaints regarding the image resolution or quality and it even comes with a low light image enhancer, which is a standard and extremely useful feature in webcams.

Of course, I can't see exactly how it's viewed on the other end, but the video preview on Skype suggests a wonderful picture. There's a little bit of chop in the picture, and I made a software adjustment that boosted the light level. But for the price, the performance is excellent.

The labtech web camera is a decent product for the cost. I paid around $11 with Buy.com's FREE SHIPPING !! (go buy.com)... The product arrived in great condition, very easy to install. The clarity is not the best of the best, but I guess u cant ask much for $11.

Its a Very basic Webcam with good resolution during day light and poor resolution in night light. In built Mic is a plus. Wide Base to hold perfectly on CRT Monitors Good Price

Small webcam but does the trick. Takes photos, camera is clear and the mic works well. Great webcam for the money. Easy to install and takes up little space.

I found the Logitech Webcam to be much better than previous reviewers had suggested; in fact, based on previous reviews, I almost didn't purchase the product! This is my first webcam, so perhaps I'm an easy sell, but I think the overall picture quality (using my 2 yr old Gateway laptop), the microphone ON the webcam sound, and the value of this product are quite good. Additionally, I'm not a high-tech person by any stretch of the word, and this product was quite simple to install and use! One of the drawbacks that previous reviewers mentioned is certainly present: the webcam doesn't swivel, so, I found an old box to sit behind my computer that puts the camera at eye level. Finally, I will add that I'm only using the cam about once each week, so, for heavier use, this might not be the most convenient set-up and type of camera for everyone. However, based solely on my own experiences, I'm surprisingly pleased with the quality and effectiveness of this product!

It is not easy to place it in an proper position and it needs some light source to support it in order to have a clear image. The images are delayed more or less. But considering the low price, it is just OK in my opinion.

I received the web came within unexpected times. it so great. The web came functionality is excellent and very user friendly. i am enjoying the webcam very much. The buy.com site is so fast and packaing was perfect to care the web cam in order to avoid any kind of malfunction. I would really recommand the web cam as well as this site to my friend.

1. This is not the product from Logitech 2. Labtech is a third party product, which tied up with logitech. 3. No quality in the product and its function. 4. I won't suggest anyone to buy this product. 5. I feel bad, why BUY.COM is encouraging such type of products.

Hello All: A week after I got this webcam, the image started appearing blurred. This being a mail-in rebate item,cannot be returned. The product claims to be from logitech, but there is no company name nor logo of the company logitech. I would strongly suggest customers not to buy this product.

The camera arrived in only a couple of days and has worked without problems thus far. It does not respond very well to dark environments but as long as you have a light in the background the picture is great. You absolutely can't beat the value for the price.

WebCam i bought from Buy.com is not the good on for my computer. Setup CD provided doesnot support Windows Vista, So i have to download the Setup from Logitech website. Even after installing the software, it started giving all sorts of problem with my Internal speaker, headphone speaker and what not. Everything got messed up with my computer. In short it is not a good product if someone has Windows Vista on their computer.

don't buy this cam if you've got a mac.....it comes with NO Mac driver and there's no support....if you write to them, it's ignored. too bad....i've had good experiences with Buy.com till now... who sells something that doesn't support a mac these days? sheesh....aint nobody lining up at midnight to get a new ZUNE...

Rapid delivery, and the product was exactly as advertised. The video quality isn't the best, but then for this price, I wasn't expecting it to be.

I'd have been really happy with this webcam if it had worked with Vista x64, but unfortunately, the drivers they SAY will work with Vista simply don't. Everything installs just fine, but when you hook up the camera, the video feed is all scrambled. I tried all sorts of troubleshooting, but Labtec's site is pretty useless and there's nothing I could find about anyone else getting this thing working in 64-bit Vista. So, if you are getting this to work with Vista x64, you may want to reconsider. However, it does work fine in WinXP, so it's a fine deal if that's the system you're using.

Fast delivery and easy setup. I have not actually used it yet, therefore I can't comment on the ease of use or performance. If it works at all like other Logitech products that I own, there should not be any problem with it.

This unit provides excellent video and audio quality, however I found I had to put it away because I could not adjust the vertical position of the camera, therefore the camera had to be at the same level as my head. I do not have the space to build something to raise the camera. To bad, went back to using another Logitech camera.

Have used the webcam for about 2 weeks and have no problems out of the box. Set up was easy. Only wish it had a tilt feature on its base.

The camera works great, the software could be better for ease of use but overall not bad. Wish it had a hook to hang on your laptop screen....Overall a good buy for the money

The software that is packaged with this product will not install the Labtec webcam. Does anyone know where the proper software / drivers can be found? The Labtec website is useless and the Buy.com website offers no assistance with installation either.

Great price for a basic webcam. Just installed it per the CD program, and it worked perfectly. Unlike a previous reviewer, I knew I was buying a "Labtec" and not a "Logitech" camera, hence the label on the camera. Yes, the picture is dark but the room is very dark. Yet, the faces of those in front of it show up just fine over the internet. Video and the mic work fine in Skype calls. Don't need bells and whistles right now. Only disadvantage is that the base does not clamp onto a LCD monitor. It was designed for a CRT type. But it can be set on some other item. It doesn't have sophisticated features, but is well worth trying it out.

BE CAREFUL! IF YOU BUY THIS WITH GOOGLE CHECKOUT, YOU WILL NOT GET THE REBATE! Otherwise, item was shipped quickly. You need to prop it up on something to get it to the right height, since you can't really tilt it much. Otherwise, it works fine.

I bought this webcam thinking "Since it has Logitech name on it it cannot be a disaster, so it is worth giving a shot for 5 bucks after rebate". When I received it, first thing I noticed that neither the webcam nor its box or the CDs that came with it carry "Logitech" sign. Then I saw that the video quality is simply terrible. This webcam was not even worth 5 cents, so I decided to return it before cutting its UPC barcode for the rebate. Having learnt that I should pay the return shipment fee which is around 5 bucks, I am not even going into that hassle. I will simply mail the rebate, trash this "Labtec" junk, and buy a real webcam. Stay away from this if you want anything more than noise.

The picture appears very dark even with good light. If you don't have a good light from the back of camera, nothing can be seen.

For $5 after rebate, the value is good. However, it's obvious you get what you pay for because the microphone is terrible. It creates a tremendous amount of static during video calls. The video works relatively well. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to buy something more quality and avoid this webcam at all costs.

Excellent little camera for the price! Recommended. Picture quality is on par for the price! Download a FREE program called "manycam" to add cool effects to your video. Buyer's Note: Just be aware that you have to download the latest software from the website to use it with vista. Also motion detection is not supported in the new software for Vista.

The great things about this camera is that it's dirt cheap and it has a built in microphone. It works OK for Skype. My biggest criticism is the images are dark unless you have a whole lot of light in the room. There does not seem to be any way to change the camera's light sensitivity either.

Works fine, but the adjustment of the base (to point the camera up or down) can only be done minimally.
