5 of 5 HP Nicest PDA yet Monday, February 16, 2009
    A Customer from Alpharetta GA

Our company has used the HP Ipaq for a couple of years, and this was our 3rd upgrade. The enterprise is a huge improvement over the HP 2490 we were using. The screen is much larger and has an anti-glare finish which is so important to us since we use them outside. I could go on with each enhancement over the 2490. We are very impressed with the overall performance and look. We hope that HP does not change this pda anytime soon. I use BUY.com for many of our company purchases and find their prices to be competitive and delivery prompt.

    4 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, June 24, 2008
    A Customer from Philadelphia, PA
This is my first PDA so it took some getting used to, but now that I know my way around, I love it. It's easy to sync to my laptop and download the specific programs I need for work.

    3 of 5 Really good Pocket-PC pda Tuesday, June 10, 2008
    Dwight from Mossville, IL
Overall this is a very good pda. Screen requires a harder press than I would like especially with all of the cracked and broken LCD warnings included in the package. It took and couple of softboots to get the WiFi up. In general works great, fast, and many features. I like the SD & CF slots but leaving a card in is tough on battery life. WiFi antenna could be better, needs strong signal to connect and LEAP would be nice at work. Have been a Palm user but having a Mobile 6 improves compatiblity and Built-in WiFI is great, to bad no new Palms.

    5 of 5 HP iPAQ211 ENTERPRISE IS A HIT!!! Saturday, May 24, 2008
    A fan from Atlanta, GA
This product is unbelievable! If I could rate it a "10" I'd do it. I didn't want a "smart phone", I wanted a separate PDA. After lots and lots of research, the iPAQ211 kept rising to the top, so the choice was brainless. It was simple to sinc with my PC, d'load address book & calendar. It also allows me to d'load MS Office files from my PC to a CF card use it on the iPAQ or create new ones right there. The screen is wonderful, not only is it really big and easy to read, it can be rotated too. I have always loved HP, but this really seals the deal for me. It has blue tooth, WIFI, it don't get no better than this! Well, actually, I guess it does... I found it for an excellent price on buy.com. So, if you're sitting on the fence, take my advise and buy the HP iPQA211, you won't regret it!

5 of 5 My brain is back... Monday, May 05, 2008
    Doug Beezley from Gering, NE
I'm writing this in the context of my history of PDA's. First my Palm IIIx (basic), iPAQ 1910 (underpowered, broke down a lot), and finally Dell Axim x50v. Aside from the fact that I had a couple breakdowns in the first year and a half (warranty fixed) and some OS problems, I really liked my AXIM for it's performance, look and feel. Since it looked like the PDA was a thing of the past, I was hoping for continued service. Unfortunately, it died just after my 3 yr. warranty. I seriously looked at finding an x51v on ebay, but was concerned about spending so much on a defunct model. When I looked around, it seemed that the HP iPAQ 210 (211) was the only credible successor. reviews seemed good, but it was hard to think of paying so much. The idea of "new" with "warranty" seemed worth it. Although I've only had it a month and can't attest for the longevity of it, I can say I am pleased and impressed... better than the AXIM. It's bigger than the AXIM, squared rather than rounded. These aren't shirt-pocket devices, but fine for most pants pockets. With my AXIM, I went with the 2200 extra size battery because the 1400 just didn't give enough time. That meant a fat back side. The HP has a 2200 battery built in to the original body, so though it is slightly longer (remember the screen is bigger *worth it*) I get bigger battery without the fat body. In fact my untested impression is that the battery life is better. The shiny black surface has not succumbed to scratches or smudges. The satin metalic edging is rich and smooth. The back is matte finish, very smooth and rich feeling but shows some hand marks. The buttons are responsive, but flush on the top to resist accidental input. The reset button (though seldom used) is on the right side for quick access (by a righty). I especially like that the "record" button on the left is flush to avoid accidental presses that often happened with the AXIM. The molded top of the stylus fits cleanly at the top corner, easily retrieved. The dual card-slot is expected with the bonus of the SD being compatible with high density and IO devices. On the bottom is the headphone and microphone (would rather them on the top) and two power/data connectors. One is a standard USB cable, the other the proprietary connector for simultaneous power and data. The important thing about the latter, compared to the AXIM is that it FITS. With the AXIM I always had trouble making a sure connection. This goes on with a solid click and stays there until released on purpose. Overall, the feel is solid, rich, refined, high-quality. The included WM6 is smooth and stable. The only freeze-ups I've had is with one of my 3rd party apps. The Wi-fi and bluetooth seem to connect more quickly and reliably. I don't do bench tests for comparative speed, but the feel is clearly responsive and smooth. The display is bright and clear (I like the extra size.) I'm a big fan of Spb Software for all of my utility and interface, and that all runs great. On the AXIM, I had to load half of my programs on the CF card, but there's plenty of room builtin so I use the CF for data and SDHD for music. So, if you are an AXIM user needing to move on... I recommend the HP iPAQ 210. (And don't pay attention to model number 210/211. Materials on the box and in the box go both ways... same thing. No model number on the device.)

3 of 5 To bad Palm does not have a match Sunday, May 04, 2008
    A Customer from Dallas, Tx
I reluctantly switched to a PC mobile based PDA. Its too bad that Palm has not been able to bring any thing of value in the pure PDA line up for the past 3 years. This particular model - is just average !!! - A shade faster in running programs off a SD or CF card. Crashes daily (its reliable in that)- the screen needs to be pressed hard to launch programs. Other neg - pricey for performance, poor battery life. Plus points - bright screen, duel card slots, built in WIFI and blue tooth. If you want just a PDA with out a cell phone - its an ok option - pretty much because there is little choice out there.

    5 of 5 great pda Wednesday, April 09, 2008
    A Customer from Clermont, Florida
i love this pda. i had a sony clie and used it for years, when it died i wanted to try a windows based pda and found this one. it is great. lots of storage space, fast, and the battery lasts forever even with the wifi on most of the time i am on it. the screen size is awesome and super brilliant. the screen is not as sensitive as my old one, especially in the corners and along the sides, but you do get used to it. no problems so far. good product and highly recommend.

    4 of 5 Purpose --- to replace discontinued AXIM 50 Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Art --- NJ from Annandale, NJ
I bought this unit after being on a waiting list for a long time. It is in most ways better than the Dell with the exception of battery life.

    4 of 5 ipaq 210 review Sunday, March 23, 2008
    A Customer from flagstaff, az
I bought the i-paq 210 for work and so far it has done a pretty good job. I do a lot of statistical work with excel and the large screen is great to see worksheets, the only main problem I have run into is that it is hard to develop formulas on mobile excel. The other mobile programs have been easy to work with as well. Also for the price I expected more advanced features etc. The writing interfaces of the computer are a little tricky such as the transcriber. It seems like the developers did not take full advantage of the machines abilties. Most programs on the 210 run very smoothly except for the internet explorer which many times displays pages very badly. The e-mail feature is suprisingly good and comes in very handy. Connecting to the internet is smooth if you are in an area with average to good wireless coverage. Using the bluetooth connections have been okay. It's a little hard to find software for this machine. In many areas it has replaced my laptop computer which has made travel much easier. Also the 210 has been great in interfacing with other equipment such as digital cameras, video cameras, and sensors. Overall a good buy but there are a few areas which there needs to be improvements such as the internet programs and availability of software to expand the usefullness of the machine

5 of 5 The best PDA available Sunday, March 16, 2008
    Andres Munera from The Caribbean
I have to admitt that this is my first PDA but I can still say that this PDA is literally a wonderful Pocket PC. It's performance is outstanding. I have not only used all the applications that came with the PDA but two others that I find really interesting. One is adding a Bluetooth GPS and using GPS Tuner software and what a great combination of hardware and software to have a superb GPS device. The other is using Remote Desktop to have remote access of the server I daily work with and it's just unbelievable how great it performs with this application. Battery life is very good. Usually more than 7 hours without needing to recharge. The screen and touch interface works perfect and the visibility and clarity is great for a 4 inch screen. The only thing that I wished this PDA had is an infrared port so I could use it as a remote control for my TV and other appliances but I still think this product well deserves an overall 5 star rating.

    4 of 5 Great Product Monday, February 25, 2008
    Michael from Germantown, MD
Good: Price (if you buy it here), large screen, good memory (Actually has 128ram), great functionality, quick, works well with Garmin mobile 10, a large cf card can make it a great music/video player. Bad: plastic screen has a bit of a bulge so screen taps aren't quite as accurate as I'd like, blue wireless indicator light under power button on front is too bright, Sound is not as loud as I'd like...somewhat hard to use as gps in a loud car. Overall, I enjoy this product because of it's multi functionality. It's big but I like that, if you want a smaller lighter model go for the 100 series.

4 of 5 Nice, but could be better Thursday, February 21, 2008
    bohunk49 from Ephrata, WA
First, the description is incorrect in that is has 128MB of RAM, not 64MB. It is the same device as the 210. Pros: great screen, light weight, mobile 6, good wifi, reasonable price. Cons: You really have to press HARD on the screen to get it to work, the speaker is on the back, no cradle, speaker jack is on the bottom, no spare stylus.
