Loaded and wide, nuvi 760 has it all — advanced navigation features, a widescreen display, preloaded maps, an FM transmitter, hands-free calling, traffic alerts and more. Like the rest of the wide nuvi 700-series, its premium navigation capabilities, like route planning and an emergency locator, give you peace of mind on the go.

With nuvi 760's widescreen display, you'll always get the big picture. View map detail, driving directions, photos and more in bright, brilliant color. Its sunlight-readable, 4.3-inch display is easy to read — from any direction.

Navigate With Ease

nuvi 760 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps and millions of points of interest (POIs) such as hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs and more. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nuvi takes you there with 2-D or 3-D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to take your eyes off the road. In addition, nuvi 760 accepts custom points of interest, such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

Where Am I?

Keep track of yourself and your car with nuvi 760. Just tap "Where Am I?" to find the closest hospitals, police stations, fuel stations, nearest address and intersection. Also see your exact latitude and longitude coordinates. nuvi 760 even remembers where you parked. It automatically marks your position when you remove it from the windshield mount, so you can navigate with nuvi on foot and find your way back to your vehicle. Perfect for unfamiliar spots and crowded lots such as amusement parks, stadiums and malls.

Plan Ahead

nuvi 760 includes advanced navigational features to take the worry out of traveling. With route planning you can save 10 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns on the 760's wide screen. In addition, nuvi 760 automatically sorts multiple destinations to provide an efficient route for errands, deliveries or sales calls. It also displays speed limits for highways and Interstates. A trip log provides an electronic bread crumb trail of up to 10,000 points, so you can see where you've been on the map.

Make Hands-free Calls

Talk about worry-free driving. nuvi 760 integrates Bluetooth® wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker for hands-free calling. Just pair it with your compatible Bluetooth phone and talk hands-free through the 760 while staying focused on the road. Simply dial numbers with nuvi's touchscreen keypad to make a call. To answer calls, just tap the screen and speak directly into its built-in microphone.

Avoid Traffic Tie-ups

Steer clear of traffic with nuvi 760's integrated FM TMC traffic receiver. Receive alerts about traffic delays and road construction that lie ahead on your route. Next, simply touch nuvi's screen to view traffic details or detour around the problem area.

Take It With You

nuvi 760's high-sensitivity internal (non flip-up) antenna gives it a sleeker, thinner design than the nuvi 600-series, making it easy to slip in your pocket or purse. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or on foot.

Go Beyond Navigation

Navigation is just the beginning. nuvi 760 includes many “must have” entertainment and travel tools including MP3 player, audio book player (subscription to Audible.com required), JPEG picture viewer, currency converters and more. With nuvi 760's wireless FM transmitter you can hear audio, including voice prompts, MP3s and audio books, through your vehicle's stereo. It's compatible with optional MSN® Direct content and our free Garmin Garage where you can download custom vehicles that show your location on the map. It also comes with Garmin Lock™, an anti-theft feature. Optional plug-in SD cards let you add additional features to enhance your travel experience including language translation and detailed travel guides. Our SaversGuide® provides information on nearby merchants offering discounts to customize your nüvi whether you’re traveling or close to home.

5 of 5 Good road companion Tuesday, June 23, 2009
A Customer from MD

This is a great device for travel. I love the bluetooth capability and FM reciver with traffic updates. Shipping is fast. One of the best feature is making a list of destination addresses on your route and letting it (Nuvi 760) handle the best order. You can update the maps once freely and also can download the choice of voice (US Enlish, British English etc).

5 of 5 Worth it!!! Monday, May 18, 2009
A Customer from Laurel, MD
I just bought this last week, and I've been using ever since. I really like it! I know this is an older model that Garmin doesn't seem to have on their product site, but you can update the map as soon as you get it. I like the traffic advisory also. I highly recommend this unit. I turn the voice activation off, but it is nice as you can tune it to a radio station on your FM dial. I figured I can just read. I haven't used the MP3 player, but I know if I ever need to it's right there!

5 of 5 Garmin Nuvi 760 Tuesday, April 14, 2009
A Customer from Blair, NE
This is a great device. The only gripe I have is updating the software maps are a major pain and very time consuming even on high bandwidth. Buy the software disc instead.

5 of 5 Great GPS Saturday, March 14, 2009
Jon from Chillicothe/Columbus, Ohio
I purchased this unit for a few reasons. I am planning a long motorcycle trip this summer and i thought it would be nice to have (it is not recommended for motorcycles but I plan on keeping it in my pocked and just listening to it). The other reason is because the speedometer in my car is broken and I figured $200 on a GPS was a better option than $800 on a new instrument cluster. I couldn't be happier with the unit so far. The FM transmitter and bluetooth are AWESOME! I purchased an 8G memory card and put all my music plus a few audio books and still have a TON of space left. The traffic feature is awesome also. overall a GREAT purchase and I recommend it to all.

4 of 5 Satisfied overall with Garmin Nuvi 760 Wednesday, March 11, 2009
A Customer from Austin, Texas
I bought this to replace the identical one that was stolen from my car (an expensive reminder not to leave valuables exposed), so I knew what I was getting. It's easy to use and has many useful features. My only complaint is that I have an older, less expensive Garmin in my other car (Nuvi 205 I think) and the older unit, with its older maps, is sometimes better at locating local businesses that the newer model can't find.

5 of 5 Glad that I bought this product Friday, March 06, 2009
cer from Pittsburgh
I purchased this Garmin Nuvi several months ago and finally have used it enough to give a review. The features are extensive, but the menus are not necessarily intuitive. Sometimes you have to just search each menu until you find the feature that you want to use. But once you get used to it, you'll really enjoy using it. Sometimes it takes 4 to 5 minutes for it to find the satellites, so turn it on even before you get going. When you first get it I would suggest that you use it to get to places that you know. That way you can get used to the features without getting lost or being distracted. It has bluetooth, but does not necessarily connect to every phone that has bluetooth. My Nuvi can call my house, but cannot successfully receive calls from my house. The user manual is not helpful with this. The sound is quite excellent when connected by bluetooth and it is actually better than when using my cell phone directly. There is very little voice hesitation. The price is definitely great thru Buy.com. I buy just about all of my tech stuff thru them. Their shipping is almost lightning fast and everything comes in good condition.

5 of 5 Great GPS Saturday, February 21, 2009
A Customer from MA
Great GPS unit. Maps are great and a great deal. Definitely buy a Garmin over a Tomtom. Also, in reply to some other comments, if u find any streets/subdivsions that are missing from the Garmin unit you can report this to their data provider, NAVTEQ on their website. Also, remember that you have to purchase map updates from Garmin to keep your unit up to date with new roads.

4 of 5 Great GPS! Thursday, January 29, 2009
Scott from Marietta, GA
Works great! I got this for my father. I have the 680 and have been very happy with all the Garmin products. The only complaint I have with this model is that it doesn't come with a case. My 680 at least came with a protective sleeve. If you are paying over $250 for a gps they could at least give you something to put it in.

5 of 5 Great device Saturday, January 24, 2009
A Traveller from Flemington, NJ
We really love our 760. It has *a lot* of great features and has consistently provided accurate route information. It's fairly intuitive to use, and easy to set up. A few time it has taken a little longer to connect to the satellites when we go out, but overall I wouldn't say it's a big issue. It also has sketchy POI information for really rural places. Great info for the metropolitan areas, though, and it has come in handy when looking for nearby activities on the fly. The live traffic info is a nice option, too, especially since we travel a lot around the holidays.

4 of 5 Good Device Wednesday, January 21, 2009
A Customer from Minneapolis, MN
We really like the Garmin Nuvi 760. It is accurate to find businesses throughout the Midwest. Our subdivision has been around for more than 8 years and the map is not available for our home. Fortunately I can make it home, but if I go to a friend’s home in a new subdivision, would it be able to find the location?

5 of 5 Fantastic Device! Saturday, January 10, 2009
A Customer from Kew Gardens, NY
I got the Garmin Nuvi 760 as a Christmas present and love it! I had a Tom Tom before and the Garmin BLOWS Tom Tom away. It picks up satellites quick, and has yet to drop a signal. As a sales rep I am always in my car and the bluetooth is great! Whoever I'm speaking to through it don't even know they're on speakerphone! Its so easy to use and navigate through! The battery life could be a little better, but it works great!

5 of 5 Best value Wednesday, January 07, 2009
Kevin from Coconut Creek, Florida
For the price and quality it is definitely right where it should be. It's very user friendly and is an excellent value. It is accurate and has many features that are useful. You can look up restaurants and other places you may have never been to before. My wife will never get lost ever again! I may even get myself one soon to make real estate that much easier! Product was shipped and received efficiently! My wife loves her new present!

5 of 5 Great GPS, update the firmware! Wednesday, January 07, 2009
David from Orlando, FL
Overall a great GPS. I shopped for months before picking the 760. The only two issues are: #1: Entering addresses should be like the Magellan models which offer a choice of where to start: zip code, city or I think street name. At work we have a Magellan and entering addressing is the only place where Magellan has a slight advantage. In every other aspect, this is a much better product than any of the Magellan or TomTom models that I've used. #2: Make sure to check for updates periodically and even when you first get the unit. I was initially disappointed in the unit because it would give me the final "Turn on 1st Street" while I was already in the middle or completing the turn. I did a free update online and now it works great.

4 of 5 Beats the Magellean Monday, January 05, 2009
Brian from Clemson, South Carolina
Great product. Bought for my wife's Christmas present and we used it on a long trip during the holidays. It was easy to set-up and get started with. The routing option of adding a point is great but not intuitive. Most of the other features are intuitive or easy to find. The battery life isn't great but does allow a couple hours of navigation without the hassle of a cord. I also have an older Magellean 760 and this Nuvi makes it look and feel like an antique. It is so much simpler to use there is basically no comparison.

5 of 5 Great gift! Extreme time saver! Friday, January 02, 2009
Holly Pyatt from Barnhart, MO
This was a Christmas present for my husband and he loved it! It took a about 30 minutes off of a trip by taking us on a short cut. The navigation is very easy to use and intuitive for someone like me who is not technically savvy. We love that it shows estimated time of arrival. The bluetooth function is very handy. I would recommend it to anyone!

5 of 5 This nuvi 760 is awesome! Monday, December 29, 2008
Renee from Semmes, AL
I'm a 1st time GPS owner and this nuvi 760 is the Best! Easy to use and gets you where you need to go without any guessing. Tells you every step of the way but doesn't talk too much! I love that it tells the street names. Bluetooth enabled and using the FM feature is a no-brainer. So many extras that it's amazing! I suggest that you also buy the Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount. It's so much better than the suction thing that comes with the nuvi. For a few extra bucks, the dashboard mount will make you happier. No sticky stuff and no suction cups that lose their grip. You won't regret buying this nuvi 760!

5 of 5 Awesome GPS Monday, December 29, 2008
Sonia from Round Rock, TX
I recently purchased this GPS after doing a great deal of research on a couple of different models. This one has it all. The maps are so current that they include every new road I've come across in Austin and the surrounding area. The day/night feature is nice. The bluetooth is easy to use and works rather well. The widescreen and resolution are great. The keyboard can either be qwerty or abc which is nice. It is very easy to enter addresses and search POIs. I have no complaints and I really can't think of any other features I would want on a gps.

5 of 5 Great GPS! Monday, December 29, 2008
Susan from Atlanta, GA
I bought this for my husband for Christmas because he drives a lot for work in unfamiliar areas. It is great - easy to set up and use and recalculates quickly when you go off the route. The display is a great size and it packs up easily into a small bag for travel. The blue tooth paired with an iPhone doesn't sound all that good, but we didn't buy it to use as a speaker phone so it doesn't diminish the value to us. Highly recommend!

4 of 5 Overall, great value Sunday, December 28, 2008
Michelle from Athens, GA
The only issue I have with the nuvi 760 is an inability to pair the Bluetooth functionality with my Blackberry, yet. I have used almost all the features and am very satisfied with what I've used. Even the MP3 player is good. The FM transmitter is not so great, but since I have an auxilliary jack in my car, it's not an issue.

5 of 5 satisfied customer Sunday, December 28, 2008
A Customer from Longmont, CO
My Nuvi 760 (first GPS nav for me) has performed up to my expectation. Garmin's support for voices, vehicles, updates is superior and the FM traffic has worked great. Buy.com's reputation is good and the price was about the cheapest around.

5 of 5 Buy this - You'll love it Sunday, December 28, 2008
Danea from Middleton, WI
I reluctantly hit the "buy" key - the price was almost too good to be true. My 760 arrived within 6 days, was new in the box, and works great. It acquires sat signals quickly, maps are really good, directions perfect, re-calc is fast and accurate. Blue-tooth phone pairing was flawless, including the fast download of my entire cell directory. I researched GPS's for a long time - settled on the 760, and am happy I bought it at Buy.com

4 of 5 Good Choice of GPS Tuesday, December 23, 2008
A Customer from Columbus, Oh
First GPS purchase. I like my Nuvi. I purchased this for business purposes to aid in locating customers via their address and also to aid in long road trips. Easy to use features. Couple things I do not like: -Not easy to pause a trip if you make a stop for coffee etc, the gps keeps telling you to turn around and get back on course. -Using the 3D map feature, there is no compass to indicate North -Volume is TOO LOW, both with built in speaker and low power FM transmitter, difficult to overcome vehicle noise. -Hands free phone does not sound real clear

5 of 5 Great GPS Sunday, December 21, 2008
Dino from Wilmington, NC
I bought this 760 as a replacement to my C320 and I have to say that it is really fantastic! My favorite part of this GPS is the built in bluetooth. I can be driving and have the FM tuner dialed to a station and see who is calling from my GPS and answer it there all the while hearing them from my car audio system. It is a little fuzzy sometimes but always is understandable. The GPS is pretty accurate and also displays the speed limit of the road you are on most of the time. Battery life is very good, around 1 day with brightness set to 20%. If you are in the market for an accurate GPS with good screen size and bluetooth, look no furthur.

4 of 5 Fantastic....but not perfect! Sunday, December 21, 2008
John from Tacoma, Wa
I've had the Nuvi 760 for a couple of weeks now, and have been using it daily to get use to operating it for the day I will truly need it for directions. I've had two older GPSs for a couple of years now, and wanted to upgrade to "newer" "better" technology. Although this GPS is loaded with features, I'm surprised it doesn't provide the user with as many personal preference options as my older ones. For example, the main screen is pretty much set as to what information it provides you. My other GPSs allow you to customize the main screen, such as showing speed, eta, total miles, altitude, etc. With the 760, you have to change screens to get this info, and then no longer see the directional map. So it's either or. Believe it or not, I have found that my older GPS provides me with more logical routing. On three occasions now, when using the GPS while traveling to known locations, I have been directed to turn onto roads that simply do not exist, nor ever existed in the 14 years I have lived here. When driving home from work, the Nuvi will insist that I take the off ramp from I-5 one exit sooner than the more "logical" route. If I take the exit it wants me to take, it will direct me through a very congested, (lights every block) area. My other two GPSs direct me to take the exit that makes more sense. Don't get me wrong, the Nuvi will get me where I want to go, but you will scratch your head at times wondering why it has chosen the suggested route. I have found though, it will quickly recalculate a new route if you miss a turn. My previous GPSs also gave me very good advance verbal notice of the next turn ( 1 mile, then 1/2 mile, then 500 ft) The Nuvi verbally instructs me of the next turn .2 miles from the maneuver. Not a big deal when you are traveling 35mph. But when you are going 65mph and need to exit right, and find yourself in the far left lane of a five lane freeway, it doesn't afford you much time to get over. So I don't depend on the verbal instructions very much. With all that said, I really enjoy the features such as the MP3 player and Blue tooth capability. In Washington State, as in many states now, it's illegal to text or talk on the phone while driving without using a blue tooth device. Enjoy!

3 of 5 The unit works well, by doesn't stick to the base Saturday, December 20, 2008
Henry from Orlando, FL
When outside, the unit is quick to locate the saterlite although I had to reboot it a few times just to reset it back to satellite-searching mode (from simulator mode). The one thing I don't like is that it doesn't stick to the mounting base. The glue lost its function after 1 day fo use. I literally had to hold it in my hand while using it in the car.

3 of 5 Manufacturer Information Saturday, December 20, 2008
Rudy from Toms River NJ
The only gripe I have is for such a expensive product you would think that the manufacturer (Garmin)would supply a detailed instruction manual. One can be downloaded from the web site,if the purchaser has access to a computer and internet.

5 of 5 Very Satisfied Saturday, December 20, 2008
David from CA
Did have trouble with connecting my blackberry via bluetooth. In order for it to work, I had to go to the garmin website and get the lastest update download - than worked fine. Very easy to do via a computer. Quality of the blue tooth good - but not excellent. I have not heard of many great GPS's with great bluetooth. Overall - VERY happy!

5 of 5 Great Value Saturday, December 20, 2008
A Customer from Franklin Park, NJ
We have been using this Garmin 760 for the past 2 weeks and it replaced an old Magellan 700. This unit acquires a GPS signal quickly and works great and the price that Buy.com was offering it makes it a great value. I would recommend it to my friemds.

5 of 5 Garmin Nuvi 760 is awesome Tuesday, December 16, 2008
A Customer from Dix Hills, NY
I have owned several gps units over the last 5 years, and this one matches and beats them all. I agree with all the reviewers on this site about the NUVI 760, including the weak (but not totally useless) FM transmiitter). I also purchased the MSN traffic adaper but have not used it yet, as the included traffic adapter has been adequate in the places I have used this gps so far. The wide, bright screen is awesome. Ease of programming, built-in maps, long lived battery, great satellite capture are all strong positives. I have not utilized bluetooth yet, so will hold off an opininon on that feature. A gripe I have so far is with the included literature. There is only a small starter booklet included, and if I want more info I need to search for it on the internet. For instance, the unit accepts SD cards but I still don't know what maximum capacity card it will accept or if it will utilize SDHC cards. It has not been easy to find this information. Also, the ability to prepare routes on a computer and download them to the unit via MapSource (not included) is helpful. I own MapSource from other GArmin units I own. I was able to download the updated version from Garmin's site. Not sure if I needed the earlier version to enable me to download the latest one or if anyone can download it. I had to find out how to use this feature from the internet. I purchased this unit around Black Friday, so I found it for $250. For this unit, and at that price, it is in my opinion a great buy.

5 of 5 Garmin Nuvi 760--great upgrade from C330 Saturday, December 13, 2008
craig from East Brunswick, NJ
I received the Nuvi 760 a few weeks ago, and turned it on write out of the box. within in seconds, it found the signal...the new technology is much better than the street c330 (sometimes i would have wait almost two mintues to find a signal). Just as its predecessor, its very easy to use, even with the new add ons. The Text to speeach is great, and i like the fact that you can change the icon, etc. I was able to sync my bluetooth phone with it immediately, however, it always looses connection to it, then re-establishes. I keep the phone next to it, so i do not know whats going on, but i havent called support yet. My unit came with the 2009 maps, so it was updated, and it showed me different ways than the other unit. Make sure you go into "avoidances", and uncheck carpool lane. With it on, it took me a completely longer direction. I signed up for the lifetime traffic, and it seemed to work well. i have not tried the MSN version, so i do not have a comparison for that. I drove through the lincoln tunnel this morning, and it didnt loose the signal, though my other unit did. I would recommend this to anyone.

5 of 5 Last years best,this years deal !!! Wednesday, December 10, 2008
BZ from Harrisburg Pa.
I also have a steet pilot C-340 that my famiy can't live without but this nuvi 760 with the Surf II chip is way faster at finding it's target. The speaker is a little tinny sounding compared to the C-340 but overall I am really happy with the unit.Super easy to use and the bluetooth speed dial is awesome !!! This unit takes up alot less room in my console than the street pilot.Got it off Buy.com for $ 210 shipped w coupon and it was New not a refurb unit !!! This is by far the best current deal in a portable car Navigation,I did upgrade the firmware and ordered the MSN charger/cable adapter because Clear Channel did not brodcast in my area.It also had Navteq 2009 maps already loaded !!!!

5 of 5 Just what I wanted Wednesday, December 10, 2008
cer from Pittsburgh, PA
The price was great, free shipping, and Buy.com is great to deal with. I am still in the learning process of using this GPS. So far I've used it to get to places I already know just to see how clear the directions are. And they are great. I look forward to using it for unfamiliar locations; I imagine it will be very handy. Navigating thru the functions are not necessarily easy, but I am learning. It does not come with a manual, but I'll be able to figure things out. The car charger/mount works nicely. Conveniently the unit charges with the same USB cable that I use to sync my Palm, and the wall charger for my Motorola cell phone works with this unit also. So I won't need to purchase a separate wall charger. Now I wish that my cell phone was Bluetooth enabled so I could use that feature on the Nuvi...Oh, well. I am just a little behind on technology. I recommend this product, and bought it on the recommendation of my sister-in-law who already had one.

5 of 5 Gabbie Garmin Rocks Wednesday, December 10, 2008
SigtauSchack from Missouri
This is the second 760 that we have bought. My wife loves hers so much I had to buy my own. She uses it for direct sales and finds her customers homes with ease. The user interface is very simple and all the extras including the blue tooth interface with her phone is great. Buy.com had the best deal we had found over half off of what we paid for the first one.

5 of 5 Excellent Wednesday, December 10, 2008
A Customer from Wichtia, ks
Excellent GPS device. I really enjoy this thing. The screen is big and easy to see while driving. The volume is loud enough to hear the navigation directions or another person while using the bluetooth for phone calls. The only problem that I can figure out about this GPS is the mic. while talking on the phone. I have to speak very loudly in order to be heard by the other party. Also when I go to pickup my phone when this happens, their is no quick easy way to switch off the bluetooth so I can use my phone. I have to turn the GPS off in order to do this.

5 of 5 luv the Bluetooth feature! Tuesday, December 09, 2008
Scott from Pittsburgh, PA
I bought a new car this summer and didn't want to pay $2500 for a gps system installed. I bought the garmin and love it. I have it hooked up to my stereo system in the car so I can listen to my mp3's and I can make phone calls (bluetooth)and hear the person I am talking to throughout the whole suv. My parents (older with hearing loss) loved it because they could actually hear phone calls loud and clear. I bought one for them for Christmas and the thing is now HALF the price of what I payed for mine. My parents keep giving not-so-subtle hints that they want one of these...it'll be a great Christmas!

5 of 5 So far so good... Thursday, December 04, 2008
lajmd from Silver Spring, MD
I've had no problems at all with the unit and it seems to work very well. That being said, I bought a TomTom refurbished unit that I was completely happy with until it just stopped working after a year of use. Let's see how the Garmin holds up. But right now, the unit works well and the features are well worth the money. Call me a geek, but I like the fact that you can change the style of car icon, even to a football!

5 of 5 Outstanding Wednesday, December 03, 2008
Matt from Cleveland OH
Great price on a great item. My wife has the 260W, and the 760 compares favorably. Same screen size (I was worried that there was no "W" in the name, but it's the same aspect ratio). Go on-line to garmin.com and register ASAP, because you get updated software and any maps changes, but only for a limited time. The power plug goes into the side of the suction cup unit holder - the manual didn't explain that well, but that's an improvement over the 260W, because you don't need to unplug in order to remove the unit to take it with you. I've found good coverage so far on the traffic alerts, and they're automatically there (no activation to begin the 3-month trial). Greater Cleveland and Greater D.C. appear to be covered ok. The FM transmitter actually worked well for me in one vehicle - better in rural areas with less interference. Apparently my other car has a bad antenna, because it doesn't work well with that one. I didn't expect to use the MP3 player function, but it works really well (good shuffle feature) with an SD card, and if you're in someone else's car (rental, etc.), or in rural areas, it's handy.

5 of 5 Nice product Tuesday, December 02, 2008
cer from Pittsburgh, PA
I just got this a week ago and so far have only "tested" it by using it on routes that I already know. It passed that test with flying colors. It also recalculates quickly when taking a different route than it had wanted you to take. Some of the functions are not intuitive, but I will get used to it. Now I wish I had a bluetooth cell phone...Oh, well!! It's a good idea to test use it so that you won't be easily distracted while you are driving in unfamiliar areas. I'm sure that I will like it when I take it out of town. The price is quite a bargain. It is also nicely rated by Consumer Reports. The voice directions say "Turn right ON Main Street" instead of "Turn right ONTO Main Street" which takes getting used to...but that is a small thing.

5 of 5 Great aid to navigation with bluetooth! Monday, December 01, 2008
Jan from Reston, VA
I bought the NUVI for my wife and she was able to use it quickly. No difficult to understand setup screens. The traffic monitoring feature is a real help in the DC area and got us out of dense traffic easily. We are extremely happy with the device so far. Next up will be pairing to her BlueTooth phone.

5 of 5 Great Auto GPS Friday, September 19, 2008
Mike from Coventry, CT
Easy to use out of the box. Used it on two trips so far and works great. Will hardly ever tell you that you are an idiot and missed your turn, it will recalculate a new route. Can get custom vehicle icons and user dowload-able waypoints from several places or create your own. Good hands free bluetooth phone linkup and FM transmiter to hear sounds via the radio. Also plays MP3s and Audiobooks.

5 of 5 I love it Friday, August 15, 2008
f15simtech from Seattle, WA
I absolutely love this. It's noticeably brighter than the nuvi 350 model that I had before this one. I just moved to Seattle and it helps me learn the backroads. I depend upon it everytime I get in the car.

5 of 5 Works great for us Monday, August 04, 2008
DaveKris from Grants Pass, Oregon
We have had our Garmin Nuvi 760 for about two weeks and have put it through test after test. While it may not pick the most direct route on occassion, it does get you to your destination in a timely and expiditous manner. If you go off course as we did a few times to test it, you will get a female voice with a frustrated infliction telling you it is "recalculating" and then it will give you a new course and get you back on track. It even located our home easily, which has not been an easy chore for some other devices. We recently took a 400 mile trip into an area we never had been and it got us there in great and safe shape. If anyone is having any doubts about this unit, belay them and go for it. We live in a rural area. We made the purchase through Buy.com which took us to Elect???? for the actual purchase. It took about 8 days for the order to be completed and the unit was delivered six working days later.
