It is a very good printer easy to set up and easy to operater I did not like having to click on a webpage to use some of the printer functions but when you use it a time or tow it is ok only thing it needs the paper feeder some documentation not very much on it I can find.

Had a laser color printed and replaced it with the Kodak 5500 for less then half of what replacement toner would have cost me. This is the easiest printer I ever had, no problem at all with setup. Color photos print perfectly, with vibrant colors. Copy, scan, and fax all work perfectly. The ink so far has outlasted any other inkjet I owned. I would definately recommend to anyone for home or home office use.

Everything works just like it is supposed to. Wish it turned on automatic as my hp did. Not to much bother to reach over and touch the on/off button.

Although the produt looks great, was relatively inexpensive, an is supposed to be cheaper, the fact that this AiO DOES NOT FAX OVER DIGITAL PHONE LINES is a huge issue in the modern telephone age. If Kodak,or buy.com or any of the "expert" reviewers had made mention of this, then I wouldn't be staring at a 10 pound paperweight in my home office. Also, my ADF didn't work right off the bat, grabbing multiple pages at once. After 40 minutes of hold time on Kodak's support line, I was told that tha ADF was probably defective. Gee Thanks. My particular machine was also very noisy, and extremely slow to initiate and subsequently complete print jobs. Maybe just got a lemon, but the fact that this machine does not work, nor can be configured to fax over anything but an analog phone line is a serious omission by Kodak taht everyone needs to be aware of.

I have had many printers, scanners, faxes, copiers, etc. over the many years I have been involved with PC's. Kodak nailed this one. Not only is this a great machine, but the software is very intuitive, even for a novice. Although I have a degree in Comp Sci, I could have set this machine up without benefit of my education. It is simple to use, gives great results, and is very economical. I was concerned about reviews I read concerning the footprint size, but when I set up the Easy Share, I was impressed with how LITTLE space it really took, considering its multi-functional use. Kudos to Kodak...you have revolutionized the printing/scanning/copying/faxing market. I think I better buy some Kodak stock!

I initially had a problem with the print head mechanism, but kodak tech support was easy to contact and very helpful. Once it was running properly the printer and copier has worked well. I am especially pleased with the easy of printing 4x6 pictures with the separate compartment for photo paper. The color quality is good. The double-sided printing works well (printing only - not a copy feature). I am very pleased with the printer and my wife is as well.
