I bought this miniView Because i have 2 Computers at my Desk, a Windoze XP system with 2 Monitors, and an Ubuntu Dual Xeon System where I do all my graphics Manipulation. Rather Than have 3 monitors and the expense i bough this device.
The Only problem that I encounter is that Ubuntu will not specify the Full Range of 1280 x 1024, unless the monitor is currently being viewed during the Boot Process, and GRUB does no recognize the Keyboard Switching Mechanism, for some reason.
So my system has 1 Logitech Laser MX1000 Mouse that is Shared, I share one of the 2 Monitors between the Ubuntu and Windoze, and I have separate Keyboards for the 2 computers.
A really nice arangement that wowed my 16 yr old son !! Was this review helpful?

I used another (VGA) KVM switch several years ago, and although it worked well, it was frustratingly slow to switch, 5-10 seconds. This KVM supports VDI video interface, requires no power, is small, shares audio, and switches instantly at the touch of a button which is the only piece on my desk. I have one Dell PC with 4 monitors, and a second Dell PC which shares only one of the monitors. This KVM switch worked perfectly out of the box. I can be viewing one PC and be listening to audio on the other simultaneously. I HIGHLY recommend this IOGEAR KVM switch. It is fantastic! Was this review helpful?

This KVM switch is easy to install and the performance is great too. It changes from one computer to the other as soon as you press the button. My keboard doesn't have a Scroll Lock key, but after pressing the button for 3 seconds it changes to the Control key as advertised. All that and sound too! The only solution for DVI and USB that I could find at an affordable price. Look no further! Was this review helpful?

Like always Iogear KVM Switches work very easy. I recommend this one for anyone that has a dvi monitor for a Apple computer and regular PC connection, that is what I have. Also this kvm is very small and very easy to set up. Was this review helpful?
