Sound quality is very good; much better than the stock IPOD ear buds. Construction appears to be adequate. Even with three sizes of cushions, I have a hard time getting a good fit in my ears - buds want to loosen up and ultimately fall out. Not good when the sound isolation comes from a tight seal. as far as sound quality, actually the very inexpensive ones that came with my SanDisk sounded better, slightly clearer
with better HI pitches.
These are EXTREMELY comfortable however, sound good, I was just expecting them to sound a tad better, since I expected them to SOUND ALOT better than the cheapies I had, and sound wise I see little difference, if anything the inexpensive SanDisk that came with my set actually SOUNDED better, although not nearly as comfortable as these.....
