The range of the keyboard/mouse to the USB port is quite short. The signal is intermittently dropped with a desktop PC (kept under the desk) and the keyboard/mouse on top. On a straight line with no obstructions the keyboard/mouse cannot be more than 6 feet or so from the computer.

The Logitec wireless keyboard and mouse was easy to install and performance is great. The only thing I miss is a light to indicate "Num lock and Caps Lock" on the keyboard. Good value for the price.

Why surprisingly? It works so well for an inexpensive wireless combo! If one searches the internet for reviews of wireless keyboards and mice, one will find that they are so mixed; no one combination appears to be overwhelmingly good - even for expensive units.
This combo works nicely. The ONLY caveat is that the range is "short" - on the order of 6 feet for my application, but that's okay for me!
