5 of 5 Top Quality Presentation Remote Thursday, January 07, 2010
A Customer from Cambridge, MA

This remote is fantastic! It has every feature I could want: slide advance, pointer, mouse, etc. It is easy to operate and is just plug and play with every computer I have used it on (PC and Mac alike). The only minor drawback about usage is that the mouse button can be confused with the laser pointer if you are unfamiliar with use; nothing a little practice can't cure. This remote is a little pricy, but if you want an excellent remote it is well worth the investment.

5 of 5 Pretty much perfect Wednesday, June 24, 2009
Loy from Baton Rouge, LA
Love this thing. Pros: well sized, LOTS of functionality, no driver to load, not too expensive, works on mac and pc Cons: requires a usb port (not a big deal), mouse movement is a *little* slow, does not have a key to jump into slide show mode on the mac (haven't tried that key on a PC yet) All in all, worth the $$.

5 of 5 As described Sunday, January 04, 2009
Paul from St. Louis, MO
With the caveat that I've only started using it, it has worked flawlessly. Right out of the box, connected the USB dongle and the MacBook Pro recognized it. Opened Powerpoint and was able to flip slides, move the mouse, left click, and right click. The laser pointer is as good as any other I've used. Overall, a little expensive but works exactly as advertised.

5 of 5 Works with easy worship Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Brian from Cody, WY
The reason I ordered this remote is that it works with easy worship. Easy worship does not work with the default buttons for powerpoint. It is one of the few remotes that you can customize the buttons. You can also control the mouse.

4 of 5 Versatile Remote, Poor Long Term Mechanical Reliab Friday, December 05, 2008
Mikhail from Laguna Niguel, CA
Remote works very well, including the mouse which is quite usable if you have to move the cursor to launch a movie, open a hyperlink or close an application. Being able to turn off/on screen is awesome to avoid distractions when slide is not needed. Only disappointment is that after about half a year of use RF USB transmitter no longer latches inside the remote and it becomes very easy to loose it. For now I only lost it in my briefcase, but I know one of these days my luck will run out. Logitech gives you a nice pouch for the remote, but it costs more and does less.

5 of 5 Satisfied Customer Tuesday, September 02, 2008
A Customer from Pasco, WA
This device is used with a Hewlett-Packard laptop to control the PowerPoint presentation to an Epson Powerlite projector. This device replaces our previous controller (had become intermittent) and works much better than the old one ever did!

4 of 5 Works great with no walls Friday, July 04, 2008
A Customer from Hackettstown, NJ
I bought 3 of these to use in my church. In the two rooms where the line of sight from the stage to the PC was clear, it was absolutely beautiful. Very Responsive and easy to use. In the one room where there was a wall in between, it definitely didn't work nearly as I would have hoped. It still works, but it requires some obvious pointing and maybe a few retries.

5 of 5 Great bundle Monday, June 16, 2008
A Customer from Media, PA
I like the bundle of features, including that the receiver stows in the unit and that it runs on AAA cells rather than the more difficult to find button cells. Ergonomics are pretty good; occasionally I hit the side rocker switch and inadvertantly advanced the slides. Was put off whilst thinking about the remote as it didn't seem to have an escape key. At first was OK with that since I felt I might hit that key by accident and abort a presentation. When I got the unit, I read the instructions and found that holding down the F5 key for a few seconds invoked the escape function. Neat! Biggest critisism I can come up with is that the Keyspan folks don't have a user manual on their website you can review. Found the mouse function twitchy, but a light touch seems to work OK. Wasn't one of my have-to-haves, but is nice every now and then. If I wanted the mouse as the primary control, I wouldn't pick this unit. Used about 4 different remotes while leading two weeks of business conferences and this one blew the others away. Really happy with it. Read the manual and then make a copy as backup, though, as there are a few non-intuitive commands (like drag-and-drop and synchronize to the receiver). I think the laser has a time-out feature. Noticed it would cut off if I held the button on for along time. Releasing and pushing again got the laser back, and turning it on and off as you would do in a presentation worked all the time.

5 of 5 Really fun Monday, May 12, 2008
A Customer from McBain, MI
I love the way this works! All of the functions advertised work well. The only drawback is that it has a longer range when the antenna is visible. We tried to bury it behind the computer, and it cut the range a bit.

5 of 5 Keyspan Remote Wednesday, February 27, 2008
A Customer from Placentia, CA
An outstanding product! I use it with Keynote on the Mac and it works great. It controls the presentation, is a good fit in the hand, controls the mouse well, and even controls the sound. The only problem that I have with it is the laser pointer. When I try to keep the laser on, sometimes, it will turn off and I have to hit the laser button again for it to work. Other than that, a great product and value.

5 of 5 Works with Corel Presentations too Thursday, February 07, 2008
Cameron Lee from Upland, CA
Most presentation devices are designed for PowerPoint, and many don't work correctly with Corel Presentations (part of the WordPerfect suite). This one does, though there is a small loss of functionality (e.g. the black screen function only works with PP). This is an excellent unit, with a long range that doesn't require a direct line of sight. The receiver stores in the device, and the laser pointer is brighter than some I've used. Unfortunately for me, I bought this before the rebate was available, so now it's a steal. The "4" on ease of use is only because you have to take care in using it--there are actually three different ways to advance the slide, so you have to be careful not to let your fingers wander while you're speaking, else you may cue the next slide by accident.

5 of 5 Keyspan presentation controller Friday, November 30, 2007
Michael from Houston, TX
I have used the Keyspan controller for two months and I am very pleased with the performance overall. Range is very good and the unit is very responsive for all controls. There is however a slight learning curve with the joy stick as it is somewhat sluggish in its responsiveness. Other than that, I rate the unit a high 5!

5 of 5 Works as advertised. Very pleased with product. Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from Portsmouth, NH
I chose this remote for the mouse functions, which others lack. The presentation functions work perfectly, as well as the laser pointer. The only adjustment was the location of the mouse buttons (above the pointer control). They would have been better placed below the pointer control. I would highly recommend this reasonably priced presentation remote.

4 of 5 Good but... Thursday, November 29, 2007
A Customer from Northridge, CA
Great product except one complaint- I'm using this primarily at my church and I can't get the remote to work downstairs when my laptop is in the balcony unless it's line of sight even though it's only 30 feet away- possibly it's the steel used in the framing of the structure....

5 of 5 great at conferences Wednesday, November 28, 2007
Marty from Colorado Springs, CO
I tried to make a presentation with my bluetooth mouse. Obviously not a great experience. I bought this thing and it has worked flawlessly. I used it at a couple of conferences and was actually able to concentrate on presenting my material rather than worrying about if I could advance the slides. The imbedded laser was handy too. Definitely worth the investment.
