Takes up little room, decent clear sound, cheap. I bought them for office use. Two children in college bought them to replace bulky more expensive speakers. They are happy with them.

These Speakers work great. The sound is very clear and they work fine for now. Hope they last. Bass is very good and highs and lows are the same. I really like this product which I use on my Lap Top. Thanks Buy.com, you rock!!

I purchased this speaker system because of the cheap price but also because of the overly positive reviews here on Buy.com. When I finally received the speaker system I was a bit skeptical, the subwoofer was the bulk of the set in both size and weight, so I assumed the satellite speakers wouldn't be worth much. This is a case where looks can be deceiving, I was pretty blown away by the sound produced by those babies and the subwoofer provided more than I bargained for in terms of bass. It's great sound for the price, but I do emphasize price. These aren't your top-of-the-line studio quality speakers, as such the sound from the satellite speakers can be a bit flat and distortion is noticed at the higher volume levels, especially with high pitched audio. I don't really care for the bass dial's location on the subwoofer itself, it makes for some rather unnecessary action to adjust the bass levels. For $25 however these issues are easily overlooked. Highly recommended!

Bought these to replace a 2.1 Altec I had for a few years (motherboard fried and killed them); got them with free shipping, so $28. Very good sound for an inexpensive system, good amount of bass. Headphone and microphone jacks on wired volume remote-which is my only complaint, that the wire connecting the remote to the subwoofer is a bit short...it basically, by the time you separate the 2 main speakers, ends up sitting very near the subwoofer. But overall, very happy with the price/performance point.

The separation in the cord did not provide enough length to fit on my desk, but it becomes longer when pulled apart, with no damage. So, they now fit. Though, there was slight confusion on which way the volume knob turns at computer start up. I thought I had it turned all the way down... I was wrong. After all that was cleared up, I am loving these speakers. The price was pretty unbelievable for such sound.

These speakers are a great value. Some of the pieces are flimsy, like the volume control which came off in my hand, but for the money they fulfilled my expectations and then some -- sound great.

For the price, I think this set of speakers and woofer are a good value. One of my speakers has a little bit of rattle to it when the volume is way up but generally the set works out nice. I like the volume module. It has an on and off switch and an extra set of microphone and headset jacks on it. It's very small and sits nicely on top of the computer - makes for a little less clutter. The woofer has a knob on the back to adjust the strenght of the base which I also like. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. By the way, also shipping was ultra-fast. They arrived via FedEx a couple of days after I ordered them - a very nice addition to the purchase experience. This was my first purchase with Buy.com and I'll definately consider purchases here again.

These speakers sound great for what they are. I bought them as a temporary set for a while until I move and get a 5.1 set. There is really nothing else to say besides the fact that these speakers are excellent for their $23 price tag.

For such a low price, the Logitech S220's really are worth it. the sound quality is amazing, even with such a small subwoofer. there isnt anything wrong that i can find with these speakers. if ur looking for a good deal on speakers, these are the ones. perfect for those who are in between blasting their music and keeping it to a subtle tone. =D

I am only using the subwoofer & the microphone/headphone adapter that came with the system along with my existing speakers and it works great! I tried using the Logitech speakers and it sounded ok. My existing speakers have a heavier magnet and they sound better that the logitech speakers. For $25, this is a good purchase. My favorite is little piece which has the the On/Off, volume control, headphone/microphone jacks.

Having only a limited amount of real estate to work with, I selected these speakers because of their compact size. I was pleasantly surprised by the big sound that came with the small price tag. Definitely no match for high-end equipment, but if you're low on space and low on cash, these are the speakers for you!

Bought these babies to team it with turtle beach soundcard on my dad's computer. I was quite impressed at the sound quality that these speakers can produce. However, the volume controller seems to look cheap and is too small for large hands to operate on. Order these with free shipping, but was out of stock for weeks til it arrive. But good speakers nonetheless.

This is the wife writing this. We bought these speakers for my computer, and I have to say, I love them. I love that I can control the volume with the very easy dial, and that I can plug my headset in if I'm going to be playing one of my louder games and he's playing poker on his computer and needs to concentrate. The sound is awesome and I love that I can turn the sound OFF with that dial so that my 2 yr old isn't messing around with the volume. The only complaint I have is this, I have a widescreen monitor, and the cord between the two speakers isn't QUITE long enough to stretch the entire width of the monitor, so I have them sitting at the corners, which can sometimes impede my view if I'm trying to see something in the corner. It's a permanent cord, so I can't switch out for a longer cord. That is, however, a very minor complaint.

pretty much meet my expectation, good sound quality,good price. it'll be perfect if the sound could be just a little bit louder, but it's still good for me. I would recommend this to my friends if they are looking for speakers.

First of all, thanks to all the people below who wrote reviews. Second, thanks to Buy.com and FedEx, a match from heaven. I ordered these at 9PM on a Wednesday - got them on Friday morning for a little over 5 dollars shipping. These speakers sound really great. Crisp and clear sound, nice bass. They won't shake the walls or make the floor rumble - but you can hear and feal the bass from the subwoofer just fine, and the satellite speakers take care of the midranges just fine. I turned these up to 3/4 volume and had to yell to the person standing next to me in order for him to hear me. I would never turn it up that high in my apartment, I am considerate of others. They still sounded terrific at that level of volume, and no hissing or distortion. Don't forget to use the Windows volume control on the computer as well as the one with the speakers. For 20 dol. bill plus 5 shipping, don't hesitate!!!

I am pleased with this product. Moreover, I just like the prompt service provided by buy.com. I scheduled the order on friday after 6PM and my order was at the door steps by the next day (sat) 1PM. That was awesome. The quality of the speakers is very good.

Are they as good as out Klypsch theater system? Of course not.. but for there size and price unbeatable. As bolth are so cheep I bought one of each, this Logitech system and the Altec Lansing BX1121. The Logitech has the better sound AND is about $5.00 Dollars Less. My .02 worth. P.S. I gave the Altec away to my Daughter for Her Lap top. Yes I am keeping the Logitech for Her Mouthers Laptop. Roger

I am very please with this unit. 1/Very cheap. 2/Sound is very good with this price of money, with separated on/off SW and volume control with LED You do not need to touch PC to adjust sound. 3/ Very easy to set up. and it looks very nice too. If you do not want to spend more....go with this unit.

I bought this set of speakers after reading reviews of various products. I'm really happy with this purchase. The only limiting feature of this system is some distortion at peak volumes, but that is to be expected. You will normally not use it at volumes that high anyway. It's ideal for a mid sized room and PERFECT for your bedroom. Buy it!

Not bad, I would say definitely worth the price. The subwoofer is pretty powerful but if you're looking for a system that will blow you away, I would suggest paying a little more for the higher end speakers.

The price sold me on this product and it continues to do so. While I have heard better sound from other products, they were many times the price. The system has worked flawlessly with my Windows XP laptop with a standard sound card and port replicator (docking bay.) The satellite on/off, volume and headphone/microphone unit is a nice touch. I don't recommend for audiophiles but it is a great value for those of us who want better sound than what comes out of the "PC box."

Took me a moment to "be smarter than the object your working with" Once I realized that the volume control worked by rotating the top of the remote I was very impressed by the sound. I'm in a 10x10 room listening to my PC. With the volume controls (PC and controler) at max the sound is clean and loud enough to get complaints from others.

For the price these are a great buy. Nice all-around sound to enhance your tiny computer speakers. Only fault is poor directions to get them to turn on. You need to hit switch on the remote to get them on, but this is not adequately explained.

Works easy as can be right out of the box... LOVE the volume control knob that also has jack for headphone that can be placed on desk. Good sound for the price.

Speakers are small but the sound coming out of them is amazing. Turning the volume up too high distorts the quality, so don't expect to play these at parties. Medium to low volume is good, and should probably be only level you play these speakers at for good sound. For the price, it's worth a shot. They are small and compact if you don't have a lot of space. They seem to be 'personal' speakers than 'party speakers' where the sound has to go through lots of background voices.

Perfect for playing music for a small audience (i.e. the PC user and maybe one other person). This is not the system you want if you're looking to transform your PC into a stereo system, but if you keep your expectations low, the subwoofer and speakers will satisfy.

This little thing really gives you the most bang for your buck!! Although it doesn't sound CRYSTAL CLEAR, it does get really loud enough for you to turn it up, and hear it all the way in the kitchen!! Seriously, for 20 bucks?!?! How the hell can you complain?!?!?

Just hooked up the speakers and they sound pretty damn good I must say. Better than I expected. They don't sound as good as my surround sound system on my tv. But I couldn't ask for better computer speakers on a budget. I would have glady paid twice as much for these speakers based on there performance.

how could I go wrong? When they arrived only three days later, I was surprised at the quality sound that came for these petite speakers. I enjoy these speakers while listening to mp3s and video editing. If these speakers have a weakness it would be the treble...it's not super-sharp like high-end speakers. BUT these don't cost what high-end speakers do. Unless you own a professional recording studio, these speakers will be a good choice for you and your pocket book.

Great sound quality for the price. It would be nice if the volume max could be increased however you can't beat the quality for what you are paying. I use it in my office and love the separate volume control.

I purchased this speaker unit in June 2008, For my wife's MAC. The speakers are small but they bumps pretty good. I would recommend for others to buy. The only thing I don't like is the remote, It would be easier to operate if it was on one of the speakers. Overall the unit is real nice.

I was very disappointed with the sound quality. One can hear crackling and hiss on the speakers. Although the speakers are really cheap, I would still say the value of this buy is low. I will add that I have no complains about BUY.com or their speed of delivery.

I bought these to plug into my airport express in another room. The speakers are very powerful for their size and price and I can hear them well from where I work in the next room. The satellite speakers appear to be less powerful than the subwoofer-- but the balance may depend on the type of audio. They are not as good as $200+ speakers of course, but will do until I can save up enough to buy some nicer ones. The shipping was fast. I opted for "budget" free shipping and received the delivery within 2 business via FedEx ground. The customer service was fantastic-- replied to my query within 3-4 hours (I contacted them about a FedEx tracking number that initially pointed to a different delivery, it was not Buy.com's fault.).
