The X3's built in MP3 player will entertain you with your favorite tunes while en route. Just copy your favorite play list onto an SD card and insert into the slot. The X3 moves easily from car to car using the convenient vent mount. A recharageable lithium ion battery assures that the unit stays active. The Nextar X3 will provide you with worry free navigation on even the most complex routes! This product comes with built-in maps of the 50 United States and Canada, 1gb built in Flash Memory, built in rechargeable Lithium ion battery, 2D or 3D map viewing mode, Day and night mode, small case design with rear speaker, Navteq Map on board, Intel processor, and a built in SIRF III receiver.

It works better than I thought, and it will get you from point A to point B with no problem most of the time. It is not hard to enter information at all, very easy to read and handle. Not to mention the mp3 and photo option that is awesome! I love it so far.

If you want a good gps don't buy a nextar. it doesn't acquire a gps signal for about 5min and then when your driving on a main hwy it won't recognize it and will tell you to find the nearest road. buyers beware!!!

This is the first GPS that I have owned, so I can not really make a comparision. But Nextar's X3 has served me well so far and I have no complaints. It catches the signal fast and its maps and instructions are very clear. Comes with with USB cable that can be used to charge the GPS and to update the software. Has a good lists of POI. I loved the MP3 player and photo viewer is also nice. The SD card slot provides you with unlimited storage for your favorite music.Although I guess one cannot use the GPS and the MP3 simultaneouly ... too bad ... Its very compact and the mount i guess is not very great but it works . Got the GPS for a good deal and it has already exceeded my expectations. In all a very good BUY.
