4 of 5 Great point & shoot camera Friday, January 04, 2008 A Customer from San Diego, CA
This is a great camera. The flash speed is VERY fast, unlike other cameras that I've had where you have to wait a few seconds for the flash (by which time you may have already lost the shot!). Also, it only flashes once instead of 2 or even 3 times, which is great and helps increase the shutter response time. I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions, so the camera is slightly bulkier that I would have liked, but it's still fairly compact and looks great. The photo quality is great; as expected from a 10.1MP camera. The only thing I don't like is that I have to remove the battery from the camera in order to charge it. It's not a huge deal, but sometimes I forget that the battery is out and almost forget it! Was this review helpful?

Picked this up for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Had bought her a 7 megapixal Casio a few years back. She really liked the quality so I went with Casio again this time and was not dissappointed. Takes great pictures and is easy to use. Large screen for viewing is definitely a plus. As far as I can tell, casio.com doesn't mention that this camera can't use an 8GB SDHC card. It tops out at 4GB. On buy.com, for instance, a 4GB card and an 8GB card cost about the same, so who wouldn't opt for the 8GB? It's not a harmless choice. When uploading, the camera deleted most of my files, without warning.
Oh, and Casio helpfully informed me that they only support Toshiba, Panasonic, and Sandisk, not Kingston, and that deleted files are normal behavior when you use a card that's too big!. Very ungraceful degradation. Very disappointing.
This isn't buy.com's fault, it's casio's, but it would be helpful if buy.com would add these warnings to the product description. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Camera! Friday, November 30, 2007 Mariluz from Texas
This was my first digital camera ever! It is very user friendly and the quality of the pictures are incredible! There are many great features, such as the anti-shake, which is great when you're taking a pic and your hand tends to shake a little. The size of the camera is also great. It allows you to carry the camera with you at all times without creating extra bulk. I went to Vegas recently and the pics just came out wonderful! Enjoy!!! :) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 casio- exilim Thursday, November 29, 2007 giselavivanco from union city, nj
I had had another camara before which didnt last me more than a year. this camera although it looks a lot more refine meaning i will have to handle it carefully (just like you should) it doesnt only look great, feels great, but also the resolution is 10X! thats is really good, the picture quality is great. another thing to point out is that when you're taking the picture the flash comes out as soon as you press the picture button, which doesnt happen in most cameras you know you wait for like 3 seconds which is actually a lot compared to an instant shot!
great camera to impress too... and to my opinin, fair price. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Great product ! Perfect performance... but please Thursday, November 15, 2007 cvidales71 from Nogales, Az
This camera works perfect.
The only Issu I have not about the product but with the product information published in product specs is the item contens.
One of the reasons I decided to buy this product was the camera docking or "Cradle" that is stated in the buy.com site. and reads exactly as follows:
* Includes 15.4MB internal memory, Li-Ion rechargeable battery, !!!***USB cradle***!!! and cable, AV cable, wrist strap, AC cord, and software
Therefore, this is not completely true, since this model (EX-Z1050) does not has the capability to be conected through a cradle. I would recommend to buy.com to correct the description mentioned above. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It has almost everything needed. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
Make a video, cut the frames that you want, in the camera. Need a digital audio recorder?, it has one. Calendar?, yes. Duplicate pictures at any resolution you want, in the camera. Hi speed continuous shutter. Multi spot and spot tracking focusing. This camera is exellent, is very fast and good for experimental photography with the imagination of the owner. 5 of 5 Great Buy Sunday, August 12, 2007 Matt S. from Sioux City
I bought this camera in order to carry it conveniently while working. I purchased a hard shell case from Digital separately as Buy.com was out. I have used this quite often for the time I've had it. I've taken pictures of our frogs in the tank above and below the water. The pics come out excellent. I shot pics of a street rod and the engine detail was amazing. The buttons may be smaller than you would like but it's a small camera. I haven't had any issues and I still have things to discover yet. I actually use the camera to show off my pics. Many people have seen the camera and they want one too. The price is fantastic. Buy.com is a great company and I highly recommend them even if you might save a buck or two somewhere else, they will give you coupons and free shipping frequently. I compared this price and it can't be beat. With the memory I bought, coupon, and free shipping I paid less than the retail price for the camera alone. This is my third digital camera and by far my favorite, My first is a Kodak 1Mg, the second a Canon 3Mg. I like them all in their own way but I may never use the first two much anymore. If you buy this and don't like it, I would be surprised. Example: my wife was mad when I bought it because I already had two, now she wants one. I'm waiting for another coupon, she wants the blue one. Was this review helpful?

The Casio EX-Z1050BK 10.1MP Camera with 3x Optical Zoom is a great camera. Easy to use and gives excellent resolution of the images. The wide LCD screen is simply superb and provides a vivid preview of the images. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Used It Today At Rolling Thunder Sunday, May 27, 2007 Joel Dougherty from Reston VA
I used this camera today at the Rolling Thunder rally in DC. The pictures came out great. I was able to get some fantastic shots from the bike. The beauty of it is that because it's 10 Mega Pixel you can blow up and crop to make great shots. It's an easy camera to use (even from a moving motorcycle). The battery lasted all day. Love the camera. Was this review helpful?
