The Camera is Great, The instructions, So-so. and the price was fantastic! BUT, this is sold as a Camcorder Kit. My last such kit came with a case, a tripod, an extra battery, and all the wires, to make every connection, The Cannon ZR800's Idea of a kit, is, you get a battery, and a cord to charge it, and an analog line to play the Digital Video, Recorder. If you want the Digital Line, You have to order that Separately, I guess that's the difference between Kodak, and Canon??? Was this review helpful?

This camcorder has all the features that you will need in a camcorder and the zoom feature is very nice and easy to use and produces a clear picture while zoomed out.
The camcorder is very easy to operate and it is ready to go right out of the box. I didn't even have to read the instructions to figure it out. My 11 year old daughter was also able to operate it without instruction from me. Was this review helpful?

I have had a JVC mini dv mini cam for years and i decided to upgrade to this model mainly because of the price and great reviews it has received.
The reviews were right on! This little camera is loaded with features and very,very easy to operate right out of the box.
One feature i think that is overlooked is the zoom feature. This model has a crystal clear zoom unlike many of the other digital cameras.

This miniDV product has all the bells and whistles of its competitors - PLUS it has and external mic capability that very few have. So if sound is important to you - then this is your baby! The product is great - the Canon tech guys needs some help - they didnt seem to know about the features that I discovered. its a great entry and mid-range skill level type camcorder. You can do som very nice things with this and PC based video editing. Was this review helpful?

MiniDV allows for easy editing and its a a compact peice from Canon. Very easy to manage and small size allows for easy use and manouver.
Highly recommend it!!! Very quick shipping through 6Save Electronics!!!
