From time to time, can not recognize the USB mouse and printer that were attached to the hub. Maybe because it is not externally powered. Does not have similar problem when using a powered USB hub. Was this review helpful?

Bought this unit to replace a powered usb hub. Connect the unit to my Thinkpad docking station, the connected devices (Canon printer, Logiech mouse and remote) seemed to work fine. The following day, the usb mouse stopped working and started to get usb devices can not be recognized. Disconnect and reconnect the hub with the same result. Tried rebooting the laptop, connect directly to the laptop instead of the docking station, the hub worked intermittently at best, probably 7 out of 10 tries.

I made the decision to purchase this particular item because of Buy.com's budget shipping. I am able to spend the money on nicer products that'd otherwise be spent on shipping and I am in love with that fact. I literally took it out of it's package and plugged it in. I plugged all my devices in the rear USB ports to free up the front one for my MP3 player and camera. I love in love with the nifty little device. I can get the cords and tangles managed and out of the way. Best of all, I got it a Buy.com price and there really isn't beating that. Buy.com is the place to go for electronics and gadgets.
