I am very happy with the product. It performed correctly right out of the box and had no dead pixals or any other defect. The built in speakers are very low fidelity, but adequate for their size. Delevery was much faster than promised. I will have no problem recommending the product or buy.com to anyone who asks.

Great monitor, great price, fast shipping. Buy.com had great service and credit card incentive. $30 off first purchase. The only issue I have is, when monitor was delivered by FedEx, it was left at my front door, in plain view of the street, in the actual product box. Box also was not sealed.

Just under a month ago I ordered a Viewsonic VX2035WM to replace my old 17 in CRT monitor. Wow! What a difference! My old eyes can actually see they text, images, graphics and colors on the screen again. And the screen refresh rate is superb! The built-in speakers equal the best desktop speakers I have heard. My only regret with this purchase is that I did not order this monitor months ago! I urge you to buy yours today!

Using dual Viewsonic monitors side-by-side at work, I knew to expect an excellent monitor and I am not disappointed. A few months ago I already bought the VX2235wm to replace a broken 21" CRT. It is rather bright, but I loved it so much that as soon as I saw the low price (with rebate) on the VX2035wm it did not take too long to decide it was time to ditch the 17" CRT as well. No regrets, the space savings alone are worth it and the gain in screen real estate is making it a pleasure to work on the PC. I like to watch TV while working and the wide-screen allows me to place the tv picture on the side of the application instead of covering part of the active application. The speakers are good to plug into my Pocket PC when I want to continue listening to an audio book (my Creative speakers line input is in the subwoofer - not a good place for it), but not to listen to music or anything else, Viewsonic would be better of to save the effort and not built in speakers so it can reduce the price by whatever these speakers cost. The only negatve on the monitor is its on/off button receded into the monitor and its tiny, difficult to push in and it feels like its the most likely part to break first (my PC tends to frequently pop out of hybernation and standby mode, which forces me to turn the monitor off). As for BUY.COM, what can I say I love their speed in delivering the goods, have always shopped around for prices and they can't be beat. Have bought lots of stuff from them and in the rare occassion somethings DOA, returns are handled as efficiently as the shipping of purchased goods. Their customer reviews have also helped me greatly in making up my mind on what to buy and what to steer clear of, the effort people put in reviews is what makes BUY.COM such a great site and is proof customers love them to take that extra effort.

This is overall a great monitor, the only minor issue is that it came with just one stuck pixel, usually green, but sometimes red. This though is not a big deal. I've got another one of these monitors that is perfect. There is just two things that I wish were different about this monitor, I wish it had a headphone jack, and that it did not come with that stupid sticker on it. Either way, for the price this is an excellent choice, and I would recommend it.

Price and quality of item was selling point for me. Delivery was amazing. It was delivered the next day after ordering. Installation was easy and within 15 minutes was up and running.

I am a first time buyer at Buy.com. I am very happy with my first purchase. I ordered this monitor on a Wednesday afternoon and with the free shipping, it arrived the next day around 5:00 PM. Amazing! The picture is excellent. I didn't have any dead or frozen pixels. I am not using the built in speakers because I have my own. A great product with a great price!

Finally broke down and replaced my old, huge 17" Viewsonic Trinitron monitor. After a LOT of research, I finally picked the VX2035wm. Out of the box, there was a blurry spot in the center of the screen (you could drag a window around and see it get blurry as it passed through this area), but after a few days that went away and the picture has been razor sharp ever since. The colors are fantastic, the contrast is excellent and blacks appear black. Haven't tried the speakers, so I can't comment on those.

As I had upgraded from archaic equipment I feel that this monitor was needed. The price was great and the shipping was instant fast! I was very happy. Working with the computer, I have no complaint. Works with two desktops with only a short delay. Only issue is wide-screen sometimes needs adjusting, and a sticker didn't come off on the front. Enjoy this!

I couldn't be more delighted with the Viewsonic VX2035 wide screen. I had used a ruler to get a feel for the size, but you don't appreciate how much display you have until you hook it up. Assembly, hookup, and setup was a snap. Color and brilliance of display is fantastic. I moved from a Dell 19" CRT to this and can't believe I waited so long. Buy.com's price (low), and shipping (fast) are hard to beat.

NICE monitor with a capital N! Loads of features and lots of real estate (Widescreen) with gorgeous HD quality and fast response time. The monitor passed the pixel test 100% and is running at a stunning 1680 x 1050! However, the sticker claiming/announcing the widescreen affixed to the top bezel face is very difficult to remove without marring the finish and even then, leaves some sticky residue which needed an application of "Goo Gone" to remove. Duh . . . I knew it was a widescreen before I even took it outta da box so a sticker is just plain unnecessary and an inconvenience to the purchaser! Perhaps ViewSonic will read this message and take the hint re: unnecessary sticker.

I read several reviews on WS flat panels before purchasing this screen, including many that complained about Viewsonic having problems with backlight bleed-through. Well, I received mine, plugged it in, and lo and behold, the notorious backlight "X" pattern bleedthrough that has been present on many VS reviews. The performance of this panel is excellent. For FPS games, it does not ghost on fast-moving gameplay. Video reproduction is flawless, and all other performance has been fine. The only gripe, the reason I can't give this thing a five star rating, is the "X". It's not that big a deal to me, but it does distract on dark films, dark parts of a game (Fear, anyone?). I can't comment on the tinny sound from the built-in speakers, because I have yet to plug them in after about six months (5.1 speakers, you know?).
