I actually bought this unit for use in my small RV trailer for use with my new flat-panel TV. It was very easy to connect, and works perfectly. The controls are easy to use and the surround sound works great in the RV! It has plenty of volumn and I have no problems or complaints with it. I can highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice, compact sound system at a very reasonable price.

I got this DVD player to replace my broken boombox. Thought of giving a try and connected with my TV. For the low price I got from BUY.com this is really worth it. Pro: Very easy to connect, low price. Great Value for the price. Cons: Sound quality is not as good as a low end home theater. The speaker wires are not lengthy enough. NO External AUDIO Input to use the Subwoofer and speakers. Manually switch on/off the Subwoofer. No remote function to power on/off the subwoofer. I would definitely recommend this. Low price is the big plus.

This system exceeded my expectations. I bought this unit to replace a TEAC all-in-one home theater that died after a few years. I just wanted a basic system to drive the TEAC speakers that I had wired in a rec room. The DVD player is quite, doesn't freeze during play, is easy to program and hasn't given me any trouble. The amplifier is built into the compact sub-woofer box with volume and tone controls. The hook up is easy and the patch cords are labelled on both ends which was a nice touch. It sounds great with my existing speakers (4 ohm). The 5.1 surround comes through nicely and it's a lot of fun.
