4 of 5 Good Overall Value Thursday, April 16, 2009
A Customer from Allentown, PA

It worked as advertised right out of the box and has a small footprint. The only downside for me are the wires coming out in all directions making it hard to find a good place for it on the desk. Otherwise very satisfied.

5 of 5 Trendnet a must now! Monday, April 06, 2009
manfred johnson from chicago il
A lot of people have multiple computers in a household, which has replaced multiple televisions in a house. The problem with multiple computers in a house is that they are best utilized if they are connected. This is where trendnet's excellent inexpensive product can make multiple computers work for an effective home computer network.

5 of 5 Works great -- highly recommend Monday, March 30, 2009
Brad from Overland Park, KS
I've been using this KVM for a about 3 weeks now and it works like a charm. I'm using it with my home-built desktop PC and a Dell D630 laptop. The Dell is docked on a Dell PR01X port replicator and I've had no issues at all with that. I had a little bit of trouble getting my wireless keyboard and mouse to work (Logitech MX3200 keyboard and Logitech MX600 mouse). They both use the same USB receiver. I ended up plugging it into the port on the KVM that's labeled for the mouse. I highly recommend.

5 of 5 Just as promised and more Thursday, January 15, 2009
A Customer from Orland Parkl, IL
I had researched this product extensively before i ordered. I have 2 Computer one for work and one for casual use and i needed a device that would allow me to use them both. I have a Logitech S510 cordless mouse keyboard Duo and needed a device that would work with them and even called Logitech to get their adivce and even though Logitech told me they did not think it would work and could not recommend a KVM device it appeared from some of the reviews i had read that in did in fact work with the my keyboard and mouse. So even though there were devices that cost much more then the TrendNet and was a bit leary of a device as inexpensive as this working correctly i bought it. Let me tell you I am extremely pleased with it, i just followed the easy directions and it works perfectly i didnt even have to install the software. I know some people complained about the device having ports and all sides and being a bit cluttered looking but if you are looking for a device that just plain works, just follow the instructions exaclty and look no more this is it. Save your money save your time and buy it

4 of 5 Good Value KVM Wednesday, January 07, 2009
PB from Fernandina Beach, FL
Price is right, but product has some limitations. Cables are short. Box has input on all four sides, so it is hard to find a convenient place to put it. Biggest limitation is that is does not hold settings when switching between computers. If a computer goes to sleep while not being used, you cannot use the mouse/keyboard to revive it after switching back to it. It can also take a few seconds to find the mouse/keyboard after switching. When switching it causes multiple USB gongs because it is turning off one set of USB ports and enabling the others, so it can sound like Big Ben if your sound is turned up.

5 of 5 Nice KVM Sunday, December 14, 2008
Josh from River Falls, WI
The switch works fine. I have nothing worthy of note to complain about. Hotkeys don't work in Fedora 9. Makes two USB connection sounds every time you switch to Windows XP. I'm guessing for both the USB keyboard and USB mouse. It's a little annoying.

4 of 5 Not too bad for the price! Thursday, October 30, 2008
A Customer from Georgia
I bought this so that I could use it with my desktop & laptop & be able to use the same monitor & wireless keyboard/mouse. I got everything hooked up (except the audio) & from other reviews it said you couldnt use a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. But, you CAN & here is the trick. You have to completely boot up PC#1 & once it is completely booted up then you can turn on PC#2 & it will work. Just wish it was Black in color.

5 of 5 Works Great. Thumbs up. Saturday, June 28, 2008
Stephen2 from Akron, OH
Item works exactly as described. I am using a wireless mouse/keyboard on Vista and XP systems. Uses a hotkey to switch or manually press button. I mounted behind desk and can easily reach for pressing the button, if needed. Unless you need longer cords which seem to be proprietary, i don't see how you can go wrong with this switch. It does run the USB stuff through the monitor plug. Saves time, works fine.

5 of 5 It just works!!! Tuesday, May 20, 2008
A Customer from Glendale, CA
This product works as expected. Plugged it in and VIOLA- was connecting to both computers with one keyboard and mouse in minutes. Sound and video work great as well. If I had any concerns it would be about the cabling. They could be longer and the fact that they are proprietary to this product are the only drawbacks I can note. However, for the price this product works great. I am very satisfied with the performance.

5 of 5 Everything I expected Thursday, November 29, 2007
A Customer from Atlanta, GA
Overall: The switch was a pleasent surprise. After reading so many mixed reviews about KVM switches I was excited that all features actually worked on this one. I'm using this with a Desktop and a laptop that has a docking station. Con: Short cables. I use the scroll lock feature to change screens which works most of the time unless on machine was turned off that the KVM was focused on and the other machine is running. Since the cables are pretty short the only way I could get it hooked up is to have the box behind my desk. When the scroll lock button doesn't work I need to do a yoga stretch to hit the button on the switch.

3 of 5 Wouldn't Choose This KVM Again Tuesday, November 27, 2007
catcallsbeth from Raleigh, NC
The first one of these that we got was defective. Buy.com replaced it, no problem, with just the inconvenience of having to send back the old one and wait for the new one. The second one works, but we have had numerous problems with it. I'm a computer geek by trade and have used KVM boxes before, but I was severely disappointed in this one. It was frustrating for me to set up and get working, so I imagine it would be a real bear for the computer novice.

3 of 5 It's really cool except....... Friday, November 16, 2007
A Customer from Minnesota
Everything about it works fine - provided you're using a wired mouse and keyboard. I felt, understandably, like I was back in the dark ages when I found I had to give up the wireless mice to use the switch. It does not say that on the box (or didn't, anyhow); I felt a bit mislead when the first time I found out about it was when the keyboard and mouse didn't work, so I called tech support and the lady was astoundingly rude in telling me what I had no way of knowing.

5 of 5 Nice switch Monday, September 03, 2007
diverdave from Matteson, IL
I chose this switch simply because of the price. TRENDnet is certainly not known as a technology leader, but I have purchased some things from them before, and they ended up being really good products. This switch is no exception. Installation was a breeze, and the function is simple. My only suggestion would to make a single button that cycles between the two PC, instead of the separate buttons for each (push to activate). I suppose alternately I could use the quick keyboard key, but I mostly go for the manual button on the switch as force of habit.
