5 of 5 Excellent Product Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Philip Reusswig from Myrtle Beach, SC
I discontinued my land line phone and had purchased the Magic Jack to which I have 5 phones attached to it and I had a lot of problems with static and the phone cutting in and out. Once I installed the Cyberpower USB Hub all those problems went away. Now my magic jack phone works and is just as clear as my land line was. I am extremely satisified with this product Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome port! 3 periperals up and running in minut Tuesday, September 15, 2009 Bill from Ocala, FL
I needed a powered hub for my Mac Mini. I didn't even read the instructions, just powered up the hub, plugged into the USB on the computer, then plugged in my portable ext hard drive, external sound card, and printer usbs. Everything worked great!
Highly recommend. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works with multiple simultaneous external drives Sunday, May 17, 2009 Jim from Baltimore, MD
Needed to xfer data between several external drives from a laptop.
Based on positive comments here, and negative comments on OTHER hubs elsewhere, spent the extra money and was NOT disappointed!
/ Recognized whether inserted either pre/post power-on.
/ Base can be removed, so hub can laid horizontally.
/ 7th port is on the front of the hub (see pix) / 6 others are on the sides (2 banks of 3)
Would buy again, without hesitation Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A nice little hub Monday, April 13, 2009 A Customer from Centre, AL
I had one before, and it is quite useful and handy. So I got one for my dad when he upgraded his system. The lights can be bright if you have your comuter in your sleeping room, though. Since it is AC powered, you can minimize the connections to your CPU or laptop and avoid tangle, and the front port is handy for jump drives. Works with Vista fine, should work with Mac, but I don't know. Was this review helpful?

This device is great, it's works right out of the box (Vista). It's fast, powered, no hangups, no problems. At first I didn't want to spend the money but I choose quality over my cheapness. I have 2 external drives, my mouse, bluetooth headset, Canon camera hookup and whatever else running off the hub with no problems. Buy it (I have 2) Was this review helpful?

quick shipping (thank you buy.com!!!) good product, no issues. The lights on it may be a little bright and uncessary, but for the money, the self-powered USB port works like a champ. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Perfectly Friday, January 30, 2009 Tom the Toolman from Richboro, PA
My finicky development machine has some problems with its USB connectors, but this hub has cured it. I plug everything into this now. It looks cool (esp. in the dark) and works perfectly. With all the devices that can be plugged into it, the weight of the unit is beneficial. I would prefer to see the port LEDs modulated with the data (they're not) so I can see what ports look active. You do need some clearance on either side for the USB plugs. I liked it enough to buy an additional one for another machine. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Quick Setup Thursday, January 08, 2009 CC from Arlington, TX
As always, Buy.com shipped promptly. The USB hub is self-powered. Great for adding USB ports to your PC. The tower design makes it easy to plug/unplug devices. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 CYBERPOWER - Hub Tuesday, November 11, 2008 Munir Rizwani from Fort Lee NJ
The Unit is user freindly! It has seven ports so you never feel restricted. Although the Manufacturer does not list Vista compatibility; it works very well on our Windows Vista, Toshiba Laptop. This A.C. Power base hub amplifies the signal in a significant manner. In that regard it can be very useful. The Unit is very bulky, so it does not lend itself for use in travel. 4 of 5 Dorky Lights - Great Hub Monday, October 20, 2008 je from South California
Gotta agree with some of the other reviews. The night light is not needed. It is tempting to drill a few holes into the device to disable a few of the lights. Great hib, works as advertised. If you are running flash drives then don't other plugging in the power adapter. If you are running another drive then the power is needed. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Little USB Hub Friday, October 17, 2008 A Customer from Marion Junction, AL
This works great with mac computers. I had an old belkin gold hub that went out. I replaced it with this one and it is much smaller but more powerful. With it powered I can plug in my printers, cameras, and just fill every port and all works perfectly. On the old Belkin, I would always get the message that my printers would not run through the device. It too was powered. This one really does the job!!! Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Great Device For The $$ Thursday, September 11, 2008 ajs from Tempe AZ
This is a great little box. No more worrying about power draw on USB lines!
PROS:
(1)Small. Height is about 4".
(2)AC Adapter: narrow brick, has green LED to indicate power
(3)convenient memory stick port on front.
(4)HUB works great - as advertised
CONS:
(1) LEDs don't really do anything. The single blue light, and 7 green lights come on if you just have the hub connected to your computer, or if you have it plugged into the wall.
(2) Stand isn't heavy enough to hold it upright with the weight of USB cables. Neither cons affect performance. The pros out weigh the cons. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Works alright Saturday, August 30, 2008 Astarbllr from Los Angeles, CA
I purchased this review to use with my Sony Laptop (running Windows Vista). Along with my keyboard and mouse, I also used an external hard drive and a printer. The reason why I ended up returning this product was that the hub would maintain all of the devices powered, even after the laptop was turned off and even when the USB cable was unplugged. So my hard drive, mouse, and keyboard would never turn off, and I figured this could negatively affect their longevity. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product Sunday, August 24, 2008 Bill from Buffalo, NY
I like this hub. It's very small and cute...only about 5 inches tall. Just plug it in, and away you go. Now, you have easy access to your devices, and more power added to potentially weak usb ports. A bright blue light shows the hub is on, and also serves as a nightlight. Six weaker green lights show that each of the hub's ports are receiving power. It does stand upright, though, and receives 3 usb cables from each side. This christmas-tree effect may or may not fit your idea of how you want your wiring to look, but you'll have to be the judge of that. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product Saturday, August 09, 2008 William from Taylorsville, UT
I finally got a UBS HUB that will solve my USB power problem! I first bought another auto-powers USB but it did not work well. It had all these fancy leds but I still ran out of USB power. Now, I have the solution!
Installtion: True plug and play (I run XP)
Ease of Use: Excellent
Presentation: The can be a decoration on your desk!
Negative poinr: The flash drive port (at the front) is not working well.
Go for it! You won't regret it! Was this review helpful?

i've been using this hub with my new Apple Airport Extreme base station and I'm sharing a printer and two USB drives wirelessly over the network. It's really helped de-clutter my setup. I did have a minor issue with the front thumb drive slot not working, but that could either be a bum thumbdrive, or an issue not being able to share a thumbdrive over the network. overall, plenty of power, plenty of ports and good performance so far. This hub meets all the requirements for a USB hub. Location of plug-ins makes it easy for quick use, and it's small compact size doesn't take up much room. I payed $29.99 with free shipping from Buy.Com. I recommend it for design and price. Was this review helpful?
