5 of 5 Great Warranty also Wednesday, December 02, 2009 A Customer from Waukesha, WI
I bought two of these from buy.com in June 2007. They have worked great. Just now one of the batteries failed.
It was easy to get to Tech support, I waited about 1 minute. Spent less then 5 minutes verifing that the battery is bad and they are shipping me a new battery at no cost since it is still under warranty. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Great! Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Alan Fields from Covina, CA
I purchased 3 to replace the old UPSs on my PCs, but had only installed one so far. We had a 5 second power interruption last night and the unit performed as expected. The other 2 PCs shut down. That'll teach me to procrastinate! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Value Monday, May 05, 2008 Dan from Goshen, IN
After quite a lot of research, I decided to order this unit, based on three things: Load rating, cost and the fact that it has AVR (voltage regulation). Many units in this price range are strictly "battery backup" units. When the power drops, the battery circuit takes over supplying the power. This unit monitors the incoming voltage and adjusts its output for sags or peaks in the incoming AC line voltage. This unit is supplying AC to my flat screen TV and satelite DVR, and is working perfectly. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Test Monday, February 18, 2008 A Customer from Helena, AL
Good back up as the storms raged through the South this weekend. I use it to back up my cable modem and VOIP phone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Performs Well Friday, January 11, 2008 Sheldon from Cincinnati, OH
The Cyberpower 685avr performs as designed. I've only had it 2 weeks and put it through its test mode which closed out my applications and shut down Windows XP. It was an especially good buy for $59.00 from Buy.com Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great USB Thursday, November 29, 2007 Steve from Loretto, TN
Super quality USB with features not seen in other units. This baby will stand up on the end opposite the coax connectors. This worked perfect for me. It also will mount on the wall with screws. Of course you can lay it down. The outlets are arranged the best that I have seen. I own nine USB's. They are all in use. This is not the biggest one, but I think it is the best one. I highly recommend this unit, by far the best for the money. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Okay...so far Thursday, November 29, 2007 Barry from El Paso, TX
Tough to provide a review when you haven't owned it long enough to say whether the unit is reliable over the long run. However, no problems so far and the unit doesn't complain (no beeps or strange noises indicating anything bad) when I power up the server, monitor, and backup drives connected to it. 5 of 5 Well-Built UPS Wednesday, September 26, 2007 A Customer from Mount Laurel, NJ
I had an older Belkin UPS (800VA) that recently died, and bought this as a replacement. The build quality is excellent. Receptacles have just the right amount of tension, and are much easier to access than the Belkin's (which were on the back). Unit works as described. Would buy another... Was this review helpful?

This Battery Backup is a great product! It has it's own software to shut our computers down for us if we are not home and the electric should go off. It protects from Lightening and Electrical Surges. Anyone that owns a PC should have one of these. Was this review helpful?

I needed a small UPS for my home computer system. The CyberPower 685VA unit worked great when I had a power outage a week later. My PC stayed up for over 20 minutes before the software shut it down. I then bought one for my home entertainment system. Was this review helpful?
