I purchased these to replace my Phillips SHS3200 earphones that finally broke. I was disappointed once I hooked them up to my Zune. I found that I had to turn the volume up almost twice as loud as with my other earphones. I was also disappointed that bass tones did not sound as deep. Another thing I disliked was the fact that one ear phone wire is longer than the other, causing the earphone with the shorter wire to pull out of my ear easily. But on the plus side I will say that when used in conjunction with my laptop the sound is great with deep bass. I have since purchased another pair of Phillips SHS3200 and use these as a back up. Great sound, great price.3 different fittings for different sized ears. PP: Wires always get tangled in the bag. Needs a compact case like the old Sony EPs that allows you to wind them up so they don't get tangled. Was this review helpful?

I just bought a second pair of earphones and all I have to say is wow!; they are very small and the bass sounds like you have a subwoofer in your ears. I'll recommend these 99.9%; the minus 0.1% being because I wish these had a volume control nob. Was this review helpful?

I have tried earbuds costing $100 and these are BY FAR much better and a fraction of the price. Excellent bass response and sound quality. Seals out background noise and the only units that stay in my ear when running. Don't bother with other high priced units these by far out perform any others on the market..... Overall this product works well in terms of sound (for the price). Some issues I had dealt with the length of the cords. Now I know that these headphones are the wrap around style (which i do prefer), but the one issue is that that cord length on the left side earbud feels a bit too long. Ergonomically because of the extra length on the left side, I find that my right side earbud tugs a lot.
In anycase these are pretty decent headphones for sound. Design-wise the thin cord can be a potential hazard for those who have little patience or care, and also the minor tugging issue that I mentioned. Was this review helpful?

Best earphones ive ever bought PERIOD, im in love with the BASS on these little things!!!! sounds like the have a woofer in them!

These head phones are amazing. They are worth a whole lot more then what they charge for them even at full retail. They create a pure BASS, the key is getting the right fit for your ear, but that's easy with the 3 size fittings they give you. Works very well with my ipod nano with nike+ armband. This in-ear headphone has very good sound quality. The only trouble I have is it is easy to fell off from ear. The headphone comes with 3 sizes of foam for adjustment. For my ear, those foams either too small or too big. Was this review helpful?

Now I know these are not the most expensive ear buds so you can't expect too much, but I gotta say I'm disappointed in these earphones. Here are list of pros and cons:
Pros
-relatively inexpensive
-pretty comfortable
Cons
-hardly any noise isolation (I don't see that claim on buy.com but I got the impression from other websites that it's supposed to isolate noise)
-the part where the extender cord connects is heavy and weighs the earphones down causing the earphones to slide out of ears
-sound is okay at best
I'd recommend the Sony MDR-EX81LP ones over these any day. Was this review helpful?
