Shreds all my daily junk mail ( 5 to 8 sheets) in one shot. The only drawback is when the wastebasket fills up. The motor sits very snuggly on top of the wastebasket so when shredding massive amounts of paper, emptying the wastebasket and aligning the motor back on can be a chore. But otherwise no regrets. This is the second Fellowes shredder I own. The first was a light weight one which was acceptable, but not up to my needs. This one is much better in all respects: it is quieter, stronger and has a larger capacity so you don't have to empty it constantly. A great buy! Was this review helpful?

Here's what I liked most about this purchase:
1. THE PRICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL! I looked in many places and none (including EBay) could match this price for a brand-new machine.
2. You can feed up to 11 pages into the machine at once. Most similar ones can only handle 8.
3. It's a great machine! The minute I got it (which was faster than anticipated), I opened it and put it to work. It shredded 8 large bag fulls without a glitch.
4. The safety features are well thought out.
5. I simply used vegetable oil to grease the teeth and so far it has worked fine. No special oil needed.

Works pretty well, I didn't think it would handle the 11 sheets that it claims, so I just put 11 sheets into it at once. Surprisingly, it didn't jamb. That being said, I don't think it would do 12 sheets. Still, it works as advertised.
One other purchaser complained about not being able to find the oil for it. I bought it from buy.com the same time I bought the shredder. Was this review helpful?

Great shedder. Shedded many items in a short period of time. I like the cross-cut feature. The cutter head is a bit heavy and awakward to remove and replace. However, to get the performance of this shedder, it's better to be built too heavy than too light. I had a "light" shredder prior to this shredder and it couldn't hold a match to this one. This is a nice unit, it is compact and works very well. My only complaint is that is requires a special kind of oil I have not been able to find. A bottle should be included with the unit. I don't what I'm going to do when it needs oiling. Was this review helpful?

This is my second fellows W11C shredder. This is an excelent shredder, the reason I had to get a new one is because I wore the other one out.
