5 of 5 EZ to use Monday, June 09, 2008
    Duane from Middletown, NJ

This is the second SD card with USB card we bought. The first was a 512MB and now this one. I would never use another since it is so easy to use. Either thru a card reader or a usb port. We mainly use the USB port. Buy.com says 7-9 days for shipping (the free version)...I think we got it in about 4 days.

5 of 5 Very slick, great value Tuesday, June 03, 2008
    Brian from Seattle, WA
For barely more than a standard SD card of this capacity, this saves you ever carrying that silly USB cable or card reader again. It's a little unnerving the first time you "crack" it in half - and you want to check the labels each time to be sure you're "breaking" it in the right direction - but it's exactly as slick as you hope and a great way to impress your geeky friends. Get it here at Buy.com because their customer service, returns, tax policies and fulfillment are THE BEST!

5 of 5 Went through the wash, and works! Saturday, February 09, 2008
    Drew Diller from Minneapolis, MN
I was already satisfied with this card. It looks flimsy, but have seen no signs of wear after significant use. What wowed me recently is that I accidentally sent it through a full clothes washer/dryer load, and it still works like the day I bought it.

5 of 5 SD CARD IS AWSOME Wednesday, January 30, 2008
    A Customer from SACRAMENTO, CA
WHEN I ORDERED THIS SD CARD THEY WERE BACK ORDERED. WHEN IT CAME IN THEY SENT IT RIGHT OUT. THIS IS THE ONLY SD CARD TO BUY. AFTER LOADING IT UP WITH 1,000 PICTURES YOU JUST TAKE IT OUT OF THE CAMERA AND FOLD IT IN HALF, NOW IT BECOMES A USB. STICK IT INTO ANY USB PORT AND YOU ARE READY TO VIEW. AWSOME!!

4 of 5 Little flaw in a great product Wednesday, December 19, 2007
    Igor from Saint Louis, MO
It is a great idea to use USB connector on a card itself avoiding any incompatibilities of card readers and bigger size cards. The only problem I have so far is that very often after I inserted card into usb port and then took it back to the camera I see "card locked" message. I have to take card out of the camera, fold it again as I am going to insert it into usb port, then unfold it back and try it in the camera hoping it will be unlocked. Lock switch on the card stays at the same place all the time. Maybe it happens because card becomes hot after use in usb port and needs to cool down but it really can be a pain in the neck when you have to make a quick shot and your card is locked. Is anybody else had the same problem or it's just this particular unit issue? Got it in Circuit City on sale for less than 38 bucks.

    5 of 5 USB convenience Thursday, November 29, 2007
    A Customer from Walton KY
Use this primarily for digital cameras (Nikon D40 or Canon PowerShots). USB adapter makes transferring jpg's easy - no need to connect camera to computer. Performance is good. If you can catch this "on sale" get one.

4 of 5 Handy device does not work in all readers Thursday, November 29, 2007
    sfensler from Fort Wayne IN
Pros: Nice feature using a memory device two ways USB and SD. Nice size for tranferring large files. Very useful for a computer tech. Fastest USB drive I've ever used. Cons: I beleive the manufacturer (SanDisk) should be responsible to ensure a device works in equipment it is designed for or warn useres where it cannot be used. This SD card will not work in my Toshiba 2455-S305 build in reader. I bought it specifically for that. Sandisk did respond but their answer was very disappointing.

5 of 5 Best Memory Device! Wednesday, November 28, 2007
    John from Westwood, NJ
I buy these by the 1/2 dozen now, they're indispensible for my camera, music player and cell phone. The 2 gig size gives me lots of room even for photos in RAW format or hundreds of MP3s. The USB port makes it easy to upload, download or plug in anywhere. No adaptor required, ever!

5 of 5 Awesome SD card Wednesday, November 28, 2007
    A Customer from FL
Love the SD+USB card -- perfect for transferring photos w/out having to carry a separate card reader. I've also been using it as my primary USB flash drive, with no complaints (also using PQI i-stick, Sandisk cruzer). The keychain holder is strong, compact, and actually stays closed. Pretty snug fit into most USB ports, but not tight enough to be a problem/worry. I got mine on sale, but it's definitely worth more.

5 of 5 Fast and Convenient Wednesday, November 28, 2007
A Customer from Falls Church, VA
The SanDisk 2GB Ultra II SD Plus Secure Digital Card works without any noticeable lag in my Canon A720IS and reads about as fast over a USB-2.0 port as a good USB drive. Not having to tote an SD reader is a nice feature. Good purchase.

    5 of 5 Finally a smart SD card Wednesday, November 28, 2007

    5 of 5 Convenient Wednesday, November 28, 2007
    Jon from Minneapolis, MN
I bought this memory card for my new digital camera. Having the built-in USB is very convenient. I've already used it several times in the first month of having this product. For more speed, though, use a good memory card reader. This card has been very fast and reliable. The included keychain is also nice. My brother accidentally sent his through the wash and it still works, so it's nice that you don't have to coddle it like a baby.

    5 of 5 I love this product! Tuesday, November 27, 2007
    Natalie from Granada Hills, CA
I bought this digicard after reading all the great reviews, and I have not been let down! The 2GB memory is great for using the video feature on my Canon Poweshot camera. I'm never worried that I won't have enough memory. And, I love the fact that I can instantly upload images or video without having my camera's cable with me. It's a "snap" to take it out of my camera and plug it into the computer's usb port. The ease of use makes me give this product a 5 star!

5 of 5 Great Card, Lousy Shipping Service Tuesday, October 02, 2007
    A Customer from Aub, NY
Great Card works wonderfully in my camera. The only complaint is the shipping service used by Buy.com. I ordered this card, it was shipped from NJ and took a WEEK to get to NY! It was shipped via the UPS/USPS shipping service which did nothing but SLOW down the shipping time. What could have made it here in 2 days took over a week! I got another package from Oregon that took a mere 3 days, and Oregon is much farther from NY than NJ!

    5 of 5 Innovative Solution Friday, July 13, 2007
A Customer from Mill Creek, WA
This is a brilliant product from SanDisk. It costs a bit more than a standard SD card, but well worth it for the convenience of not having to worry about a card reader. Durability seems reasonable, just make sure the card is inserted into the USB port in the correct orientation or you risk scratching the contacts.

5 of 5 SD CARD REPLACES FLASH DRIVE Wednesday, July 04, 2007
    BOB GUILLIAMS from TEMECULA, CA
The SanDisk 2GB Ultra II SD Plus Secure Digital Card is GREAT. By incorporating an integral USB plug, SanDisk has eliminated the need for flash or thumb drives. Just take it out of the camera, flip up the hinged, protective cover, and plug it directly into your computer's USB port. Since it is, in fact, an SD card, it is naturally low-profile and lightweight. I had intended to just keep it in my camera, and use it to transfer photos directly. No more messing with cables or SD card readers. When I received mine, it came with a VERY HANDY, plastic case, which you can attach to your key chain. How cool is that? I keep a variety of photos and other files, both business and personal, and they're always with me. Great idea.

5 of 5 Coolest SD card on the block! Monday, July 02, 2007
    Wayne from Rochester, NY
Bought a 1GB version last fall, which I gave to my daughter at Christmas. She quickly realized that it would have been very handy to have on a summer trip, when the lack of an SD reader was a problem. She has been thrilled with this, and uses it as both an SD card in her camera, and a USB flash drive carting files between school and home. I bought the 2GB version as another gift -- she should be set, even on trips, with that. Fast card, works well, cool product. Well worth it to have one or two of these for exactly this type of mixed use.

5 of 5 SD that converts to USB - very nice! Wednesday, June 27, 2007
    lavajunk from North Rose, NY
I have a small camera I have with me most the time - I used to carry a card that would allow me to use my SD card in any PC/MCIA slot - but with this SD card - its not necessary it converts to USB - so there is no need for me to carry anything extra. I haven't had it long, but its in my camera and been to a couple events and there have been no issues - it works as expected and nicely folds in half to convert to USB. There was a $20 rebate when I bought it - so it was a nice deal also!!

5 of 5 slips in wallet with credit cards Friday, June 01, 2007
    A Customer from Lautoka, Fiji
Excellent product, only improvement I can suggest is adding a little hole on one corner so it can hang off a keychain. It does come with a keychain sleeve but that adds to it's size. I currently prefer to slip it in my wallet beside my credit cards. It's hardy and can be used with no problem with a camera, pda, computer, etc. The flexibility of the usb connector allows me to use it as a data carrier and to transfer pictures from my camera without needing an adaptor. In fact I had purchased the 1GB version about 1 year ago and have added the 2G version now. Both are really handy. It may fit a little tight in some USB ports, I fixed this by just filing the edges of the usb tab down a smidgen.

5 of 5 Is this cool or what!? Tuesday, May 29, 2007
    Alan from Orlando, FL
No more searcing for cords or card readers. Just pop the card out of the camera and plug it directly into the USB port. I was concerned at first, but once I got it and used it, I was amazed. I bought two. One for the camera, and one to carry work files and @ 2 gigs I could backup my Outlook PST and still have room.

This is such a cool idea....perfect for travel. I'm surprized how rugged the construction is. Most of the time, I'll just use this as a standard SD card but its nice to know that I have the option of plugging it directly into a USB port.

5 of 5 Simple, useful, slightly delicate Saturday, May 26, 2007
    Keith Gonzalez from Eugene, OR
This is a great product. I am ready to buy another one, just because of its usefulness. Not only does it work excellently as SD memory for my camera, but with its key chain carry case, it easily doubles as a flash drive. Folding it in half takes some care, so I can see if someone is really rough or has trouble handling small items, it might pose a problem.

3 of 5 You'll only use the USB option in emergencies Friday, May 25, 2007
    rawlogic from Cincinnati, OH
They don't tell you that the USB connector isn't a standard USB connector and it's not easily plugged into a USB port. You'll need to push hard to get the memory stick inserted into your USB port because the only thing holding it in place is the fact that it just barely fits into the hole. Then, you have to wiggle it a bit to get the pins to touch so your computer can read it. It's so much easier just to plug it into my camera or card reader to get my photos than to mash on this thing. If you want a thumb drive, get a thumb drive. Use this as a regular memory card, and use the USB option only in emergencies. For that, it's perfect.

5 of 5 Great for my Nikon digital camera and no reader ne Monday, May 14, 2007
    A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
I recently bought a Nikon P3 digital camera and found out I needed a SD (secure digital) card if I wanted to go beyond the tiny internal memory. The intruction book listed a few "Nikon approved" items including this SanDisk product. The first one worked so nicely and was so convenient to view and transfer the pictures, that I bought a second one. I did not have to buy a new reader and I can go to any computer and put this disk into the USB port and see what is on the disk.

    5 of 5 Too cool! Tuesday, May 01, 2007
    Dennis C. from Chandler, AZ
Remarkable device. I hope the construction will stand the test of time; so far it seems well-built but when you look at those tiny hinges you have to wonder. But that's the only possible negative here, and hopefully will turn out just fine in the long run-- otherwise it's just plain ingenious! I use the device as a USB key for transferring files from computer to computer, and as a SD card in my SanDisk MP3 player to expand its song capacity, and as a USB device I can plug it directly into my Pioneer car stereo to listen to those same MP3s in the car, with awesome sound quality!

5 of 5 Greatest thing ever Tuesday, April 03, 2007
    A Customer from Raleigh, NC
I bought a nice new point and shoot camera at the same time I bought this memory card. The camera was loaded with new features, but it couldn't overcome my fascination for this memory card. The built-in USB has saved the day on countless occasions. I never need a cable, batteries, or charger to share or copy my pictures. Eject the card, plug it in to your computer, and you're ready to go. Speed is pretty good. Durability is excellent. I thought for sure I'd break this thing by now, but after 2 years, it hasn't broken yet. Keep in mind, that I continuously insert and remove this from my camera and PC USB port. It holds up just fine. I don't expect the hinges or connectors to ever fail. The convenience of the USB connector outweighs the additional cost.

    5 of 5 Excellent Friday, March 30, 2007
    Mo from Ann Arbor, MI
This is my third ultra II plus. I originally had the 1 gb (in June 06 for $100), but it was stolen out of my car along with my PDA and my dignity (kidding about the last part). I then decided to upgrade to the 2 gb version because in november-december of 06' it was around a hundred bucks. I accidentally broke that one when I backed my chair into it while it was plugged into a comp on the ground. However, I freaking love this thing; sooo useful, especially if you have a pda and don't want to carry around a geeky jumpdrive- SO I re-purchased the 2 gb at this amazing price of 47.99. WOW! THANKS BUY.COM

5 of 5 buy with confidence Monday, March 19, 2007
    A Customer from Seattle, WA
I was very skeptical in many areas: 1) purchasing from Buy.com (first time), 2) Sandisk wouldn't be compatible with iPAQ hx4700 and 3) the USB tip is too fragile. Well, I'm glad to say that I was pleasantly surprised that none of my skepticism were true. Buy.com was fast and reliable. The 2GB plus model is fully compatible with my iPAQ pda. And, lastly but not the least, the USB tip is pretty strong - inserting and removing from the USB drive wasn't too much of a problem.

Paul N. Gineer from Titusville, FL
Like most technology professionals, I need to keep some data handy with me, ready to use. I've owned a variety of USB drives that have done the job pretty well, but this tiny little wonder BLOWS THEM AWAY! I now have on my keychain, dangling like a small key fob ~ 1 GB of easily accessable data on a SD card that has it's own USB interface! How flippin' cool is that? VERY COOL! You need one! Buy it!

This is the second one of these Sandisk SD cards I've purchased. I put this 2gb model in my Nikon camera. Yea, it's really good for sharing pictures right out of my camera with anyone that has a USB port on their computer, and I can also use it as a flash drive in an emergency.
