3 of 5 Disconnect Reconnect Disconnect Monday, August 25, 2008
    moonsflwr from Vancouver, WA

I get good volume and reception while I have connection between my phone and headset. Unfortunately it disconnects and reconnects constantly while I have both items on me within 2 ft of each other. It makes an almost constant noise. There is no reason I see why this is happening.

    5 of 5 Great Product Thursday, August 07, 2008
A Customer from Woodland Hills, CA
Easy setup, great reception, relatively easy to use, although it takes some getting use to. I was concerned about the quality of the product because of the low price, but there is no buyer's remorse here!

    3 of 5 Bluetooth Okay Tuesday, July 22, 2008
    A Customer from wolcott,ny
It was as described and was cool looking. The only drawback was that the earpiece which goes for both left and right ear access was stiff and only fitted one way onto the bluetooth. When you go to put the earpiece on it nearly takes your ear off trying to get the stiff plastic around your ears. Works well though.

1 of 5 Sorry piece of garbage Tuesday, July 22, 2008
    alfacinho from Arkansas
It would never take a charge. If I plugged the charger in and jiggled it, occasionally the red light would come on for a split second. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but at least expected it would work. Too bad I threw the packing material away. Looks cheap, feels cheap, doesn't work. Stay away from IOGear junk like this!

5 of 5 IO Gear Bluetooth Headset Tuesday, July 22, 2008
    Dave Finley from Rainier, OR
The headset works fine, it was easy to connect to my phone, works well with the phone. I am having trouble connecting to my computer but that is probably because I haven't figured out how to use the program on the computer.

    5 of 5 Great at $10, Avoid it at $50 Tuesday, July 22, 2008
    Walid from Hanover, NH
A nice little piece of electronics, this headset was straightforward to use and quite adequate in performance. Although I do not have any experience with the units that cost up to 20 times as much as this one, I can only assume that the addition of more costly components might make similar headsets 1 - more nimble in response (I have had callers enter voice mail while waiting for my button-click to complete the pickup), 2 - louder (I often have to step outside not for a better signal but just to avoid ambient noise), or 3 - more quiet while in standby ( get headaches form wearing it while not in use.) But for the $10 I paid, this is unbeatable value, and would be a great value even at $20.

    2 of 5 Whatever Monday, July 21, 2008
A Customer from Berkeley Heights NJ
This is a whatever product. It was cheap to buy so I said "whatever". It doesn't fit right but it was 15.00 so I said "whatever". Its sitting on my dresser right now and probably won't get used again and "whatever". I'm looking at the price right now and it's not a whatever product. I paid something like 15.00 for it and even then it wasn't worth the price.

3 of 5 You get what you pay for.... Monday, July 21, 2008
    RM from San Diego
For the price I was not expecting too much so I wasn't disappointed. I need to use it infrequently and only when I am in the car. Easy to set up and I like the convenient USB/AC charger. No problem with the volume or with the mic. Fit on my ear is a bit clumsy and the LED lights are almost impossible to see except in total darkness. Meets my current needs fine but will definitely upgrade if I need to use hands-free more often. Delivered with usual BUY.COM speed and efficiency.

1 of 5 Does not work Saturday, May 24, 2008
    A Customer from Boca Raton,FL
I have a Jabra and I am using Jabra & Blackberry in my car for a while. I bought IOGear device for my Blackberry to use it when I walk. And it simply does not work. I was not able to connect this product to any my phone as well as to any my computer. And buy.com cannot take it back. He may just do exchange. So, I think I will spend some money for ship back and get nothing back again.

    2 of 5 Not a good product Monday, December 17, 2007
    MR from Jersey City, NJ
I bought this product because it was cheaper compared to the other brands. I am NOT satisfied with its performance at all. The IOGear has a constant background noise that makes it very difficult to hear the other person. Just to confirm that there was nothing wrong with my phone I used a Motorola headset and was surprised by its clarity compared to IOGear I would suggest paying the extra 10-15 bucks for a better product.

2 of 5 low volume, poor microphone Monday, December 17, 2007
    A Customer from Joliet, IL
I learned my lesson - you get what you pay for. I switched up to a more expensive bluetooth headset. The volume is good - if you are in a quiet room. If you are in a car, it is hard to hear. Also, the microphone is poor compared to other headsets - the person on the other end of the call will think you are in a tunnel. It is easy to use, but thats about it.

5 of 5 The best BT headset yet Saturday, May 26, 2007
    D from Palatine, IL
I've been through 3 motorola headsets...they all failed within 6 months and their battery was 2nd rate. This IO gear is absolutely built correctly. There is no problems with it working and keeping a very very good battery life. Would buy again and recommend to friends.

4 of 5 Good For the Price Monday, March 19, 2007
    Michael from Madison, WI
I was very excited to find this item (when it was on sale) - as my second IO Gear Bluetooth headset. It paired instantly with my phone, and does so whenever both devices are on and within range of each other. The sound quality varies from excellent to acceptable (depending on factors such as battery power and distance from my phone, if the phone is in my heavily shielded coat pocket, etc.) I don't like to keep the headset in my ear when I'm not using it, so I will often put it in my pocket. This leads to the one and only real problem that I have: somehow I activate the redial button and will suddenly call the last person I was talking to. On the flip side of this: whenever I want to use the redial, I have yet to be able to make that work intentionally! (That may be a quirk of my phone, rather than the headset.)

4 of 5 Good value for the price Monday, March 19, 2007
    A Customer from 60185
This Blue tooth headset is a bit tricky to connect the first time. After that, it is difficult to disconnect. Works well when connected and in use. Good volume and clarity. Button is touchy. If you put it in a pocket, it will turn on and redial last number called.

4 of 5 Great for the price Monday, March 05, 2007
    Gene from Eagleville PA
This is a serviceable bluetooth headset for occasional use. At the sale price, it's an outstanding value. It's light and comfortable. Audio quality is generally quite good - but occasionally plagued by static. One gripe: the unit tends to turn itself on when packed in my briefcase, or carried in my shirt pocket. Otherwise, works well, and holds a charge for a reasonable length of time. I've used it with a Razr, a Treo 650, and a Cingular 8525 with fair-to-good results.

5 of 5 Great Bluetooth for the money! Saturday, November 04, 2006
    Leanna from Portland, OR
This is the first bluetooth headset that I've ever used and I'm very impressed. I had a bit of trouble pairing it with my cell phone, but the manual clearly said that the pairing doesn't always work the first time and to keep trying. How many user manuals are that clear & honest?? It's easy to use and everyone says they can hear me very clearly. You have to keep your phone close by (4 - 6 feet MAX), but other than that, it's very clear. Delivery from Buy.com was very speedy. I'm extremely happy with my purchase!

    5 of 5 Great Value Wednesday, November 01, 2006
    chascurt from Hillsboro, OH
I bought 2 of these, 1 each for my wife and me. She has a little problem with hers fitting her ear properly and the range isn't great but overall we're very satisfied with both. They're a great value for the money. The instructions were very easy to follow and we were able to get them working in only a few minutes. The speaker is clear with ample volume and the mic picks up our voices very well. I highly recommend this headset.

    5 of 5 I recommend with slight reservation Tuesday, October 31, 2006
    A Customer from Anaheim, Calif
This is my first cell ph bluetooth so I dont know how others work, but I do like being hands free very much while driving and working in the yard, etc. I have no complaints from the listener on the other end. Only slight problems I have is that everytime I start a new conversation I have to turn the volume up again, I guess it defaults to the lower setting after hang ups. Also, it takes me a few times to get it to turn on but it always does. So for the price it really does a great job and I would recommend it.

4 of 5 Worth this money Monday, October 30, 2006
    Michael from Linden, NJ
Bought it with Google discount and its defineteively worth this money. Works rather good, sound is clear, battery life is fine. Only one drawback is that in its idle mode (when not in use) the unit is gently clinging every 5 min, obviously checking bluetooth connection, it might irritate some people. Otherwise I am happy with it. Recommenâ to buy!

4 of 5 GOOD FOR THE PRICE Monday, October 30, 2006
    A Customer from VA
You can't beat this headset for the price; however, I wasn't super happy with the way it fit my ear, but that's to be expected. It's a little hard to hear because it doesn't go in your ear far enough and it also causes your voice to sound like an echo sometimes, but I'm told that a lot of the bluetooth headset do that. So to quit complaining, overall it's a good headset at a fairly cheap price. I would recommend it!

3 of 5 Good deal; okay product Wednesday, October 04, 2006
    A Customer from Modesto, CA
The price certainly was right, especially after the rebate. Generally, I'm satisified with the product but there are a couple of issues. <BR> <BR> It's somewhat hard to hear if I'm in a noisy location--like in the car with the windows open. And the people I'm talking to sometimes have trouble hearing me, but I suppose that's to be expected from any product that puts the mic near the middle of my cheek. I wish it had a mic extension to bring it closer to my mouth. <BR> <BR> Also, I get a lot of noise created by the hardware itself. That is, when I touch it or move it, it sounds like the various pieces of the plastic shell are grinding against one another--sort of cracking or popping. It happens, for example, when I'm repositioning it on my ear--something that should be avoided during a conversation. <BR> <BR> The manual comes in three languages: English, Spanish, and French, but none of them is very helpful. They are brief and omit a lot of information--like why it beeps frequently and what the various beeps mean. I hope they upgrade the manual soon. <BR> <BR> The biggest issue is that I can't get the redial feature to work. You're supposed to be able to depress either volume control for several seconds and it will redial the last number, but it just plain doesn't work. I'm going to contact the manufacturer to see if I can get it exchanged. We'll see how good their customer service is! <BR> <BR> Set up was quite easy, and I got it paired to my cell phone and my PDA without much hassle. What difficulty I had came from the phone and the PDA, not the earphone. <BR> <BR> Yes, I plan to keep it and would recommend it, but I would like it better without the previously mentioned problems.

4 of 5 Fantastic buy. Just too large for my ear. Monday, October 02, 2006
    Jennifer from Los Angeles
I love the quality and ease of use of this headset. My only problem is that the piece that holds it onto your ear, is too big for my ear. This could be because I am female and a little petite, but it tends to fall off if I lean forward and don't have my hand on it. Other than that, I love the thing!

    5 of 5 Nice product Monday, October 02, 2006
    A Customer from Cincinnati, Ohio
This is my first bluetooth headset and i am enjoying it. It fits nicely to my ear and was easy to pair with. The battery life is also quite longer. I can do without recharging it daily! Further, there was no echo and the person on the other side was able to hear my voice clearly. The only drawback this product has is its limited range. Once you loose line of sight, you start getting disturbance. Plus if you go beyond 5m, you again are most likely to get disturbance. If you can bear with the above drawback, the product otherwise is quite nice.

5 of 5 Cheapest among the best hedsets Tuesday, September 26, 2006
Md. AL-Aminur Rahman from Elizabeth, NJ, USA
I have been using this IOGEAR bluetooth headset, due to unusual size of my year none of the ear device suits for my ear, so I won't blame this one for that reason, in terms of talk time it is very closed to what it promissed, I have used it for my laptop aswell to recieve yahoo messenger call. Everything I get from this device is what I expected and what I paid for. I am heighly recommending others to buy this device and finally thanks to IOGEAR for making this product available in cheaper rate.

4 of 5 Good starter headset at great price. Tuesday, September 26, 2006
    Mark S. from Akron, OH
I bought this headset to use it with my new tMobile phone. I handle lots of call everyday for my online business(O3Hosting.com) and i wanted to have a headset that is not too much expensive since this is my first one. I liked this headset for the $$ i put in. It is very easy to use, though they can make the plastic ring that holds the headset on your ear a bit more thick. I always think that it is going to fall down, but once you are used to it, you will have no problem. The signal will fade if you keep you phone about 8-10 feet away, so it is a good distance while driving. Overall i would say this is a good headset and i would suggest a regular user to buy it since you can easily get a new one after 8-9 months for the price you pay. Hope this review helps.

4 of 5 Good buy for the Price Thursday, September 21, 2006

Its a good product, me and my wife both have one, and so far we are happy with it. The good thing about this package is it gives you the option of charging the earpeice through USB or regular outlet which helps a lot. Pairing the device with our cell was a breeze and battery life is good. The bad thing about this product is the phone has to be very close to the headphone and here I am talking about no more than 3 or 4 feet, other wise we start getting distubance and the voice breaks. I will highly recomend this item if you use your phone while driving its worth every penny !!!

5 of 5 Extremely good value Wednesday, September 13, 2006

At this price the headset is almost perfect. Reception will get fuzzy if the phone is in your pocket but in a open palm or line of sight it works flawlessly. The big plus is the battery life...all day long

    5 of 5 Good Deal Monday, September 11, 2006

Pretty nice deal. Not very good range but it is clearer than most other bluetooth headsets in the same category. I am completely satisfied and I think part of the problem with the range is my old cell phone.

Works fine, was easy to install/pair it with my Nokia 6682. I have only used it for a few days now and did not have to charge it yet.

    4 of 5 Not a bad headset Monday, September 11, 2006
    A Customer from Hanover, MA
This headset was a great buy. It works pretty well. One complaint I have is that it doesn't fit that well on my ear, but at least it doesn't ever fall off. The speaker could rest a little closer to my ear for better sound. Also, the light is very hard to see, so it can be hard to tell if it is on or off, but if you turn it on/off while on your ear, you can hear the tones that indicate whether it has turned on or off (and I think it has 2 different tones). The rechargeable battery seems to last about a week for me, which is pretty convenient. It conserves power by turning itself off after being out of range of my phone for a period of time. I haven't tried the USB connection yet. It also comes with a plug converter for European outlets. This is nice!
