I bought this phone aweek ago. The features are great, but the range is not so go. I also have a Memorex 900 mHz and a two phone GE 2.4 and the range is about the same on all of them or maybe the 900mHz is a little bit better. If my GE did not need battries I would send it back. Batteries R $19.86 each @ w-m Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 TERRIBLE RECEPTION Friday, June 15, 2007 A Customer from Albany, GA
We purchased this phone to replace our Panasonic cordless phone set. The reception is absolutely terrible. We live in a small, 1500 sq foot home and we can't receive clear reception from one end of the house to the other, let alone going outside. Our old Panasonic worked great -- even to the mailbox which is a good 20 yards from the house. I'm now hoping to find another Panasonic to replace my old one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Cordless Phone with Phonebook Monday, April 23, 2007 Rich Wendrock from Houston Texas
This is a very stylish cordless phone, it has a clip that can be used to secure the phone onto ones belt or pocket. Headsets for this phone are relatively inexpensive... The handset fits comfortably into the palm of the hand, with an easy to read display. The signal is loud and clear. The feature I like best about the Uniden Tru9485 phone is the 100 phone number library. Each name can have two phone numbers. Numbers can be copied from one receiver to the next and if that isn't just awesome, when a call is received, pressing a few buttons will add the name and number to the phone book... The only bad thing I can say about the phone is, I later on ordered two additional handsets with the recharger. I could have saved money if I had purchased everything at one time.

5 of 5 Panasonic is so 90's Wednesday, February 28, 2007 A Customer from PA
this replaced my Panasonic 2.4Ghz 8 line system, and its hands down BETTER.
-Sound is great
-Speakerphone is clear and you are heard without people noticing its on speaker
-Huge LCD with big fonts
-easy to use intercom
-easy to use answering machine
-great reception
- nice looking
- compact
I literally did not have to read instructions to get everything working. Just browsed through the menues on the phone.
"Global Settings" is awsome....gets your settings to all handsets in one shot.
its almost like having a cell phone, only its not.
All of the above I cannot say for my (second)Panasonic that was expensive, very average, poor sounding, with a complicated answering machine (way too many things to press to get a damn message). so yes...5 outa 5 on this one Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A very good product Saturday, February 10, 2007 A Customer from Peachtree City, GA
The phone system was easy to set up, program, and operate. Best feature was the ability to enter over 50 speed dial numbers into the base unit, and then transmit the copying of same to each of the 2 handsets. Clear signal all throughout our 2-story home. A good buy. Was this review helpful?

The Uniden Phones are exactly what the documentation says they are. They're a quality product for a wonderful price and exactly what you're hoping they would be. Was this review helpful?
