I've had this remote for close to a year now and it works perfectly. Easy to program via your computer and it doesn't eat batteries. I've even changed some equipment around and changing the setting on the remote was easier than switching the equipment.

This remote is great. You can customize about every button and there is an LCD screen that allows you to do even more actions. Also, the 'Activities' feature is great because it lets you control your TV/Receiver/DVD/VCR/Whatever at the same time. The fact that the remote is customizable is good and bad. It's good because it allows you to adjust response times and buttons actions, add 'Activities', add a bunch of devices, ect. The only problem is that it does take some time to complete if you don't like the default set of button sets as well as some trial and error when you use the remote. Overall, I'm pumped that I can use the remote to power my Vizio TV, Onkyo Receiver and XBox 360 at the same time with 1 remote without losing any of the features on any of the remotes!

The good: I bought this remote to replace the other four I had that controlled my TV, DVR, amplifier, and Xbox 360. This is the ONLY product I've bought in the last two years that did EVERYTHING I wanted it to in exactly the WAY I expected. And the fact that it uses "Activities" to do multiple things at once... well, that's just icing! It controls every aspect of every device I have, and it took just a few tweaks in the software to customize the buttons. I love the look (especially the nice, slim profile), I love the size (smaller and lighter than I expected, but it doesn't feel flimsy), I love the feel (especially the smooth non-slip texture on the back), and I absolutely love the function. I got it for 75.00 shipped, which is a great deal for this product. <p>The "not-so-good as I would have liked, but not that bad, either, if you think about it": It's been said in other reviews, but the buttons are tiny. I don't have big hands, by any means, but the buttons could use a bit more height or girth so you can really tell you're pushing them. The layout is a bit odd, too, especially the volume and channel buttons. There also seems to be a slight delay between pushing a button and seeing the result. This lag is definitely noticeable. Finally, I have not yet found a dedicated "device" mode. I'd like to manipulate my television on its own, once in a while, without having to scroll through a menu to find the exact command I want to use. It's probably there (the thing is super-featured enough), I just haven't found it yet. <p>Overall, I love this remote, and consider it a completely worthwhile investment, especially for the price. Satisfied customer. Now, if only it could turn on my Wii...

Set-up was a breeze. This remote allowed me to eliminate the hassle of using 5 remotes. It actually works better than the remote supplied by my cable company. The only negative for me was that the buttons are small.

This is a great remote! I love it. I got it 2 days after I ordered it so thank you buy.com. The only problem that I had was with the initial setup. It took me about 4 hours before I got it working perfectly. A little frustrating, but worth it. Now one button will turn on every component of my entertainment system that I use with that particular activity. For example if I am watching regular tv it will turn on my tv, dvr, as well as my receiver with just one push of the button. Same thing goes for when I'm playing xbox 360 or watching a dvd or a vhs. Amazing! Before I had 4 remotes and I could not take it anymore. This solved all of my problems.

If you have too many controls at home, BUY THIS NOW! You will not be disappointed. One button pressed and all my devices that work together turn on and input it automatically set. For example, I wanna play Xbox 360? I press "PLAY XBOX 360" button. HDTV turns on, sets input select to 4, Logitech Z-5500 turns on and Xbox 360 turns on. Yea....a must buy!

I love my AV equipment but my girlfiriend could not stand that she had to use multiple remotes. I love how logitech sets it up for easy use by making the funcitons of turning on and off all equipemnt with 1 button and how it maps the keys so that the volume controls the receiver and the channel controls the DVR. IT rocks

I originally bought this remote to finally gain control of all the components in my house.It definitely gave me full access to all the electronics that I use daily. The set up was totally idiot-proof with the program provided. Also Buy.com had it at my door the very next day free. Great purchase definitely worth the money

This is a must have item if the XBOX360 is the center of your digital media universe. The remote functions as promised and is quite attractive. Setup and operation are both extremely easy. The only drawback is that the buttons are a bit cramped compared to the rest of the Harmony remotes but then again, I do have large hands.

Setup had a few hangups; however now that it works it is awesome. It connects via USB to your computer, you enter the model numbers of your audio/video gear and it automatically programs the remote to operate your gear. AND it will learn commands from your OEM remote that are not already in there database. AND it will let you fully customize what buttons excute which command. That ability is fantastic. The only thing that concerns me is how fragile this remote feels, especially the buttons. We'll see how it holds up... I've already had one with a broken button right out of the box. And there is a bit of a delay with commands that takes some getting used to (can't flip thru channels like a man wants to)

I am a huge thecno guy and when it comes to electrical entertainment I have to have the biggest and best. This remote overall is amazing. It preforms all the tasks that I require of it, and more. The activities button is great, and being able to switch components with such ease, is great. The features on this are easily found on the lcd screen, but the main reason I purchased this item was its ability to integrate with my xbox 360. The setup was a 4 button push and it was over. I would recomend this remote to advanced and beginners in the world of universal remotes. Thank you logitech, and keep up the good work
