When I plugged it in (Vista 64 bit premium), it said it couldn't find any drivers. The installation disk that came with it was apparently from another add-in card, as it had nothing to do with this one. I emailed the manufacturer, and they said Vista should find the driver automatically, and just try rebooting a couple of times. On about the third try, it did install, but it kept saying it couldn't find the driver for a function I've never heard of, although the card and the ports seem to work. I finally just told the system to ignore the bootup warning from now on, and it seems to be working fine. Was this review helpful?

Installed this card on a Mac Pro. Installation of the card itself was easy as could be. However, the driver install disk did not seem to have any Mac drivers. Manual only had Windows install instructions. I had to go online to download drivers for the Mac. It would have been nice if the manual had mentioned this. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 USB w/o taking a full PCI slot Monday, March 05, 2007

I purchased this card in order to maximize my available slots. I already had a USB port card that took up a full PCI slot. I needed the standard PCI slot for another card, but my motherboard, ASUS Crosshair, had an available PCIe x4 slot. Therefore, I purchased this card. The card works great. I still have multiple available USB ports and the full advantage of having an additional PCI card installed in my Desktop.
I love it...works great.
