5 of 5 Great Value for Price - Performs well Friday, April 03, 2009
Antoine from Charlotte, NC

I love my first Laser printer. I was looking for a network laser that allowed me to link to my wireless router so I can print wireless. Works great.

5 of 5 Lexmark E120N great for home office Wednesday, July 04, 2007
meghanr from Ossining, NY
This printer gave me the functionality I was looking for to print a large volume of hand fed items such as checks and card stock while still having plain paper in the regular feeder. I am pleased with its performance. The speed is terrific and the print quality very good. It is lightweight and the size is great. Perfect for home/office.

5 of 5 A Great value Monday, May 28, 2007
A Customer from Georgetown, IN
This is an excellent printer for use by a few networked users. The print quality is very good and it networks easily. The power demand is less than for the Brother laser printers. It works flawlessly both with OS X and Windows XP under Parallels.

3 of 5 Cannot print long document correctly Saturday, April 28, 2007
Edward from San Diego, CA
I have the printer for about one month now. The tech support cannot help me to setup wireless printing. They even question me why I wanted to use wireless printing. It took me two weeks to figure it out. I also have problem printing long document. The last two pages are not correct, often having big black blocks. Numerous e-mails to tech support, and they suggested this and that, but nothing worked. If money is no subject, look for some other brand.

4 of 5 Works well but, picture is deceiving Monday, April 23, 2007
A Customer from VA
We have had this printer in use for about a week now and it appears to work fine. The major issue I have with it is that the picture for this printer is deceiving. The door (that is closed in the picture) has to be open to install an exterior paper input tray. I thought that this was a "self contained interior" input, as opposed to the "deskjet type" external input tray.

5 of 5 Excellent personal use printer Monday, April 16, 2007
Pawan from Hoboken, NJ
I am very satisfied with my purchase. This printer is the perfect balance of functionality and cost for personal or small-business use. Note however that the toner that comes with the printer is rated to give you only about 500 pages - Still a good deal considering the reliability of Lexmark.

5 of 5 Linux friendly, YES Thursday, April 12, 2007
A Customer from Mattoon, IL
If you use this printer with Linux, try the generic PCL 6 driver included with most distributions.

5 of 5 Best Value in B&W Laser Printing Wednesday, April 11, 2007
A Customer from Los Angeles, CA
I have only had my Lexmark E120N for a few weeks now, but so far I rate the product 5s across the board. Mine came a couple of days after I ordered it even though I selected free shipping. Setup was a snap - trouble free even for a guy who hasn't setup a laser printer in a long time. It's a very small unit, it has great output, it's silent in standby and comparatively quiet during prints (no louder than an injket I'd say), and it has PPD (driver) files for most every OS. I think this printer represents the best value in B&W laser printing.

5 of 5 Great Value - Great Printer Monday, April 09, 2007
Darren Shu from Schaumburg, Illinois
My only complaint is the printer doesn't come with a USB or ethernet cable, but it does come with a power cable. So, it took me some time to find cables to hook it up. Many will probably not have this issue, but it might be annoying for some customers. Outside of this, I didn't have to use the CD that came with the printer. I merely plugged in the printer with USB and Windows XP detected the driver using Windows Update. Everything said and done, I was able to setup the printer out of the box and get it running fairly quickly.

5 of 5 Great network printer for the price Wednesday, April 04, 2007
Actuary928 from Queens, NY
Easy 5 minute setup with CD. No need to connect to any pc directly (connect to router with a network cable as a network printer), which leave printing from any machine on the network a lot easier.

4 of 5 Linux friendly, YES Monday, April 02, 2007
A Customer from Central Illinois
I ordered this printer last week during the rebate promotion because: 1. It is on a network card 2. It stated that linux drivers were included on cd. Took me about 10 minutes from the time it was out of the box until I was able to print to it from my windows computers. My linux computers were a different story, but I am very new to linux. It has a debian package and a redhat rpm package included for the lexmark generic driver. My linux is built on mandriva and it took me about two days to figure it out. Set up the printer with a generic PCL 6 driver, works like a charm. Would have been much sooner if I was more up on linux.

5 of 5 Easy, Quick, Affordable and Network enable Monday, April 02, 2007
A Customer from Charlotte, NC
When I went looking for a good network laser printer for my home office I ran across the LexMark 120N. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase it and I'm glad I did. The setup of the printer was easy. The quality was excellent, as well as the speed. I love having a network printer, so I can print from my laptop wireless without being connect to another computer that has to be on. Cost was another important factor with the low cost of this printer it was a perfect fit.

5 of 5 Great Printer for the price Monday, April 02, 2007
Actuary928 from Bayside, NY
Easy CD setup for both network and usb connection (cable is not included). One great pro I loved the most is this printer can directly connect to the router. It makes printing a lot easier for any pc's on the network. It gets the job done with good quality. It is small and light.

5 of 5 great little laser Monday, April 02, 2007
A Customer from reedsburg, wi
The best part about this printer is the network connection; it was much easier to set up than the print server I was using before. If you hunt around a little, consumables are not all that expensive. Getting the driver for Vista was kind of challenging, but there are only three files to choose from so it's not a huge issue.

5 of 5 Lexmark E120N Monochrome Laser Printer Monday, April 02, 2007
A Customer from Carel, NY
Excellent printer for the money. Looks great. pretty easy to install. I hooked it up to my router with the software that they supply. What I like about is that you dont have to leave a computer on to print from my wireless laptop

5 of 5 Fast and quiet Thursday, March 29, 2007
Mark C from Minoa, NY
I've owned the Lexmark E120n for 2 weeks now and I've been extremely satisfied. I had been considering a network printer for my home network for some time, and I couldn't pass up the price ($79.99 and free shipping at the time). Setup was a snap; and the web interface for the integrated network card makes tweaking and configuring very simple and straightforward. This printer is fast! I printed a 20 page document from the laptop upstairs and it was done printing by the time I walked downstairs to get it (30 seconds maybe).

4 of 5 Great printer!! Saturday, March 17, 2007
Carson from Queens, NY
Works great right out of the box. Installation was simple and took about 5 minutes. Printing quality is exactly what I was looking for in a laser printer. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the paper curling but then again which laser printers in the $100 and under bracket not do this??? I'd definately recommend this printer to anyone whos looking for a good home printer for use. I paid $79.99 after an instant $50 off rebate.

5 of 5 Unbeatable price, ease of use Thursday, March 01, 2007
Rico Lelina from McKinney, TX
I got this printer for $78 (128 - 50 instant rebate) with free shipping. When it arrived, setup took 5 minutes. I plugged it in to my router and then powered it on. Then I popped the CD into Windows XP Home to install the drivers. I was up and running in a couple of minutes. Then I also set up the printer on my Fedore Core 6 Linux laptop using cups with the generic PCL 6 driver and again I was up and running in a matter of minutes. I realize that the $78 price may no longer be available, but this is still a great printer even for the regular price of $128. For me the highlights other than the price are: * network-enabled printer for easy sharing * easy setup * fast -- first page comes out in a matter of seconds * configure via web broweser * good for home use printing misc stuff in mono
