5 of 5 Awesome Monday, November 24, 2008 Robert Sillitoe from Maumee, Ohio
Ordered this unit on sale and it arrived 2 days later. Large enough to prepare or reheat a large item container. The senor reheat and sensor cook functions are dynamite. Almost set it and forget it. You need these cntrols initially because the 1250 watt power is more than enough to cook or reheat foods fast. Popcorn in under 2 minutes. These functions really do turn off and on at the right times and even power down to insure food is heated thoroughly throughout without a lot of stirring or remixing. High value for the money. 5 of 5 Nice Nuker Saturday, February 09, 2008 Rich from Rochester, NY
It pretty much has all the features everyone else has, looks nice was a great buy. Although it doesn't have a couple features my ancient Litton had that it replaced. But otherwise I'm real happy. Reading the buttons is tough if the kitchen is not well lit. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Just what the doctor ordered! Monday, December 10, 2007 DarkHawke from Seattle, WA
Couldn't be happier with my purchase. This is a very nicely built and featured microwave. I've had two previous Panasonic microwaves and this is a worthy successor in that line. I'm most impressed by the extra "oumph" that I'm getting. My previous oven was only 1000 watts, so the extra 250 this one pumps out results in surprisingly better results. I can now use the low end of the time suggestions for microwavable entrees, dinners and snacks and no longer need to run them just a little longer to get rid of excess moisture or heat up cold spots. I even like the physical start and stop buttons, versus the membrane type for the rest of the controls. A excellent choice for the most indispensable modern kitchen appliance! 3 of 5 Moves backward when opening door, and more! Friday, October 12, 2007 A Customer from Sandy, UT
We bought this microwave oven exactly two years ago this week (Oct. 12, 2005). The door button is so hard to push in that the right side of the microwave oven moves backward (if not propped against something else) when you push it. We have to keep pulling it out again. The other day, Oct. 9th, 2007, when I went to push the door botton in, the plastic piece inside the door button (that pushes the latch up), broke. Now, since it is past the one-year warranty, we are trying to find the part to replace it. GOOD LUCK! There are about 15 door parts and there is no way to identify it! Panasonic couldn't even tell me the name of the part so that I could order it...and they all had Asian accents with very broken English. (I even pushed number 1 for English!!) They couldn't understand me and kept transferring me to another department! They finally said they would "research the part" and get back to me within 48 hours. RIGHT!!
Also, If I try to run the turbo defrost a second time, it COOKS the item! It's like it can't remember how to run at 50%! Was this review helpful?
