THERMAL ONE-COLOR DISC PRINTER RETAIL KIT - P11/KIT

I thought this printer would be ideal for my project(s). The printer skips while printing on the cd. I thought it was the cartidge and I replaced it. It produced the same result on another disc. The templates for the layouts are limited as well. I would not recommend product if you plan to give professional results.

So far I have had know problem with the printer was able to get replacement ribbons with know problem. My only complaint is way Tech Inc is so concerned with what kind of windows program I have in regards to its authenticity or not. It gave me a hard time downloading the software.

Exactly the same as the Primera Signature Z1 and the TEAC model. Ribbons are interchangable. Better than inkjet printers, no smudging and possibly the cheapest thermal printer you can get.

This is a basic thermal disc printer with adequate quality results. Definitely not professional quality, but great for home use. You MUST use CDs/DVDs with a thermal printable surface (usually shiny)for printing to work well, otherwise very poor/inconsistent results. Also, you must use large, bold fonts or lettering has very jagged edges and "dropouts" in the printing. Considering professional disc printers are $1,000+ this a good value for a little over $100.

Very basic thermal disc printer with just adequate results...what you would expect for a little over $100. You have to use big, bold fonts for anything approaching legibility and quality. Better than paper labels for longevity, but nothing approaching a professional, quality look! Best for data/archive/back-up discs.

As a DJ, I needed something exactly like this to print on my CDs. Software didn't work on one of my laptops but worked fine on second. I am guessing it has to do something with .Net Framework version 1. Print quality is not great but for printing text it's all right. Suits my needs, although I have to print in very small font and can only fit 10 song names or so in one of the four sections. Otherwise it becomes unreadable. I use other sections to print other information about tracks so now I am limited burning 10 tracks per CD. In any case, it's a good investment if you want to label your backup CDs or print text and maybe some simple graphics on CDs/DVDs. Make sure you get the media which can be printed on.

This little printer is perfect for home-office CD publishing! You can import graphics, pictures, and text, as well as use the preset text fonts and sizes! A perfect starter printer for basic CD design! And I could not find it at a better price, especially after including competitor's shipping fees! I elected the free(slow) shipping and I received mine in 4 business days! Thank you and I will certainly use this site in the future!
