Koss is definitely one of the best headphones companies and the sb45 lives up to the reputation that Koss has. I bought this head phones and at first I was not really impressed. But then I learnt that headphones have to be broken in and after a month, I cant go back to any other headphones. My old headphones, the cheap $15 logitech ones seem ridiculous now.
The build quality is really good for the price. The sound is really good but as I said it takes some time to break-in the headphones. Also these headphones have deep base so expect a very profound bass quality to these headphones. These arent meant only for music so they may not compare to the professional music headphones but as a multimedia device they are simply awesome.
The headphones are initially a little too tight but given some time they become more comfortable. Was this review helpful?

I use these for voice-over work, gaming and music. The headphones provide great range, quality and clarity. The microphone is noise cancelling and produces clear recordings with good range and quality. They collapse into a compact size that makes them easy to transport. Was this review helpful?

I've used and owned Koss pro and semi-pro headsets for many years, but went to an inexpensive over-the-ear headset w/noise cancelling mic for use in my vehicle's GPS voice recognition system. When I became interested in podcasting and voice-over for video editing, the cheap, lightweight system didn't measure up. I bought the Koss SB/45 looking for Koss quality, and I wasn't disappointed. The earphones have great range and the quality mic can be used left or right, and can be stored vertically when not in use. The mic is noise cancelling, but will pick up some background audio, so record in reasonably quiet environment if you don't want some background interference. A great value!! Was this review helpful?

These headphones from koss have been generally satisfactory, however they are not the best I've used. Im sure if you look around a bit you might find a slightly better deal. My main problems with these are that there is a bit of static noise and they get a bit hot after using for a couple of hours. Overall dont get me wrong I like them and I dont think I made a mistake with them. Was this review helpful?

I have been looking for a good set of headphones for my English (ESL) school in Utah. I found that these, priced significantly lower than other headphones I looked at, are used by ETS to administer the official TOEFL test (a standard English test for non-native English speakers who wish to study in an English-speaking university or college). I was dead-set on finding a high-quality headset for gaming and general music listening. Originally I ordered what looked like a good quality "force feedback" headset from I think edimensions or something like that.. It turns out that the sound quality was very poor in comparison to some Radio Shack headphones I had on hand. I ordered these headphones next and I'm very happy with the sound quality and microphone clarity. The headphones provide really good audio range. I'm running an SB X-FI sound card and got everything tweaked perfectly.
Also, the headset is extremely comfortable and light-weight. Don't hessitate to buy these. Was this review helpful?

Never buying other brand of headphones again, this one rocks
my last koss headphones lasted me 3 years and counting, they are very tough and ruged, they will last you a long time
sound is excelent , voip is good , for comfort took me a while to get a hang of them but after a couple of weeks they permanent adjusted to my head. Was this review helpful?
