5 of 5 Works great! Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Eugene from Hingham, MA
I've had the Pharos GPS device for a couple of years now and it has worked great with my laptop, via a USB connection. When Google maps for mobile devices added GPS support, I wanted to use the Pharos GPS with my phone as well. I got this Bluetooth doc, and everything functioned as I expected (something that happens less often than one might think with technology).
The doc has a battery that lasts for a good 8 hours of constant use or weeks of intermittent use. The doc has non-slip feet that keep it well planted to the car's dashboard, without the need for a suction cup.
This doc works so well, that I no longer carry around USB cable for my GPS. If you have the Pharos 360, this Bluetooth doc is a must. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It simply works! Tuesday, September 12, 2006 Art from Atlantic City, NJ
If you have a Pharos or Microsoft GPS, plug it into this Bluetooth Dock and it just works. Using the wired connection on a Mobile 2003 unit had problems connecting, but not with a Mobile 5 unit using Bluetooth. It just works. And, it's way cheaper than a dedicated GPS handheld. I'm using Pharos latest version of their software and I haven't gotten lost yet. Was this review helpful?

I plugged in the GPS module that came with Streets & Trips 2005, fired up Pocket Streets 2005 on my Windows powered Smartphone, and in no time at all it had a fix on my position.
I was expecting to have to play with configurations, but was pleasantly surprised that it started working in seconds!
