I wanted an inexpensive surround system in my room for listening to my mp3 player and radio streams in bed. This turned out to be the perfect solution for the price. One thing to note though, you need to get a 3 way splitter if you're not using a PC or don’t have a 5.1 soundcard. This will allow you to hear stereo ,but not true 5.1, music through all the speakers. If you use the auxiliary port, you will only get sound through the left, right, and sub channels; the rear and center will not have any sound at all. But this is nothing a trip to Radio Shack couldn't fix.

These speakers are awesome. The 72W RMS really adds great effect to gaming and movies. With the center speaker jacked up in watts, the movie theater experience is brought to the PC. The Auxilary port on the back of the sub makes for easy access for hooking into other electronics. Overall great speaker system.
