5 of 5 Great product. Monday, January 25, 2010
Sam from Chicago, IL

Works really nice, easy to setup and good quality. Though not knowingly I connected the keyboard and mouse in wrong ports and had to contact support, which was very helpful and within a minute, everything started working, including sound. On the back of the switch there is indication of which ports to use for keyboard and mouse. Just use the scroll key twice on your keyboard and it will switch within seconds and you don't even need to keep the switch on the desk.

This is great. Works quickly between my laptop and work computer. Takes up very little space on the desk.

5 of 5 Works Great Wednesday, March 11, 2009
A Customer from Pearl River, LA
No problems here. Connected and it just worked. This is how all computer stuff should be, plug it in and go to work, no configuring, no swapping cables and hanging upside down to make it happen. Plug and go, I like it!

5 of 5 Great Product! Tuesday, March 10, 2009
A Customer from Spring, TX
Works seemlessly across my two systems, simple connection, simple use. Only thing I would like added is a shared network connection, but was able to work around that by having two individual ports available.

5 of 5 Works as expected Tuesday, March 10, 2009
KB from Green Bay, WI
This product has been great. I have a 24" W monitor for my home PC which I now double as a dual monitor for my work PC and have had NO issues to this point. - Easy install (is directions are followed) - Easy flipping between monitors NO issues to this point. I would HIGHLY recommend for this price.

5 of 5 Works good Saturday, February 28, 2009
Bill from Albuquerque, NM
Use between desktop XP and laptop dual boot (Vista/openSUSE). Saw cheaper KVMs but I've been happy with IOGear in the past and wanted to stay with them.

5 of 5 great buy for a great price Thursday, July 03, 2008
A Customer from Athens, GA
Easy to set up, long cables to allow for your two computer towers to be spaced apart, and all USB interfaces which make things very simple and compatible. Read the instruction manual for extra features, but for my purposes of sharing 1 screen/mouse/keyboard/speakers between two computers, it's a perfect investment.

5 of 5 Good Price - Simple installlation - Works great Sunday, June 22, 2008
Bargain Hunter Bob from Los Angeles, CA
I purchased this from Buy.Com as they had the best price after searching around. I have used the product before and know it works well. And it did not diappoint. Very simple to use - just plug it in and it works right away. No need to install any drivers or software. Nice and long 6' cables make it easy to connect up computers even at a distance. I am using a logitech wireless mouse & keyboard combo which only has one USB plug but just connect to the keyboard slot and it recognizes it perfectly. Both computers running XP Pro.

4 of 5 Good solution for 2 computers Thursday, June 19, 2008
Paul from Newburgh, NY
Pretty good deal as it comes with attached cables. Set up was easy for an XP and a Vista laptop sharing a USB keyboard, mouse and external monitor. I have fairly high resolutions settings on the monitor, and no problems there. The only issue is that the Vista computer will sometimes not respond to the external controls, and then I have to unplug and replug the USB for the KVM in that computer so that it finds it again, but that is probably more of a Vista problem.

5 of 5 Terrific product! Wednesday, April 30, 2008
A Customer from St. Louis, MO
Truly plug and play device. Took me about 5 minutes to sort out the cables behind my two computers, plug them into the KVM switch, and voila! The switch between the two computers works flawlessly and is surprisingly fast. Within 1 second of hitting "scroll-lock" twice, I hear the USB "ding" and I'm ready to go on the other machine. My configuration: I'm using this device to switch a USB keyboard, mouse, and speakers between two desktop computers. I'm not using the VGA video switch, because I have a dual monitor system, which this does not support. Instead, I use the input switches on my monitors, which support multiple devices. Bottom line: Terrific product at a terrific Buy.com price. Highly recommended.

5 of 5 Handy product at a great price Monday, February 11, 2008
Ken from Shelby Township, MI
This KVM works as advertised, right out of the box. It's compact and seems to be well built. I have noticed 2 minor quirks in the short time I've been using it. 1) There is a 1- to 3-second delay in switching, which judging from other reviews, is common to USB KVM switches. 2) I recommend having a pc selected by the switch while it is rebooting/restarting. I had one occasion where the video resolution got hosed while the switch was pointing to the other pc. I had to restart the just-booted pc to correct it. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the product, especially considering the price.

5 of 5 Great Product Monday, January 14, 2008
A Customer from WV
I have owned KVM's in the past by this company, and they are by far better than others I have tried. They have top notch resolution support and work flawlessly. This one is the best yet, especially if you use wireless input devices.

5 of 5 Works great Friday, December 07, 2007
Jeff from West Fargo, ND
I bought the IOgear to replace a set that went bad. Worked out of the box and does exactly as stated. I have an extra computer to do some of miscellaneous things like cd burning when I'm using my main computer. Can't beat the ability to switch between the two computers without changing seats and keyboards.

4 of 5 almost works but not quite Wednesday, December 05, 2007
A Customer from Atlanta, GA
Everything works fine and switches smoothly back and forth between my Dell desktop and Sony VAIO UX380N notebook. However, there appear to be two minor issues that are quite annoying. First, highlighting text, then typing to replace it generally leaves the first letter of the old text in front of the new text. Second, it occasionally drops keys when I type too fast.

5 of 5 Does just what it's supposed to do Thursday, November 29, 2007

The headline says it all. I have a Windows PC and a Mac Mini sharing the same keyboard, mouse, and audio. It works perfectly. What else can I say?

5 of 5 Versatile unit for a good price Thursday, November 29, 2007
jeff from Bluffton, SC
Small. Easy to use. Buttons for scan to e-mail and scan to PDF work well. Built-in film scanning feature is probably a waste in this digital age, but it doesn't hurt anything and is unobtrusive. Overall I am very pleased.

3 of 5 good while it works Tuesday, October 30, 2007
A Customer from San Francisco, CA
We bought 6 such systems at work. Most are used between a Sun and a Windows PC. They work great for a while, but each of them started malfunctioning after a few months. IOGear offers a 3-years warranty, and I replaced each of the units two to three times during that period, so I went through about 15 units. Unfortunately, the warranty period is up, and some of the last replacements begin malfunctioning. For example, every morning my keyboard doesn't respond. I need to crawl under my desk, disconnect it, reconnect it, then repeatedly hit a key until it starts working. Then it would be good for the rest of the day... great price, but no reliability.

5 of 5 Iogear USB KVM Switch Wednesday, August 15, 2007
A Customer from Camden, ME
This is a great, reliable little gadget that lets you use 1 keyboard, mouse and monitor with 2 computers. Switching between the 2 computers is a snap and there is no software that needs to be installed.

5 of 5 Good Solution for the Average User Wednesday, July 13, 2005
shall36 from Orlando, FL
I work from a home office where I have a company laptop and a personal PC. There are certain functions that I need to perform on the laptop and certain functions that I need to perform on the PC, and usually I have to switch back and forth between computers. The KVM switch makes the back and forth much, much easier. Some have commented on poor video performance when using the switch, but my experience has been possitive. The video output from my PC is completely unaffected by the switch and the video out from the laptop is slightly degraded, but that may be due to the fact that the laptop's video card has a limited range of video-out settings. Switching between computers is very easy and quick. Unfortunately, the video portion of my unit quit working after about a week; the good folks at Buy.com took care of that issue quickly. I think that this switch is a nice solution for those looking to use two computers simultaneously without the need for seperate keyboards, mice, and monitors.

5 of 5 For Sun users, This is great! Wednesday, July 21, 2004
Gino from MA
I have a SunBlade 150 and a PC. I have a monitor with dual input but have had to deal with two mice and two keyboards on my desk for over a year. NO MORE! This device took me less than 5 minutes to install and that was because I kept the cables neat. It couldn't be easier! I used my Sun keyboard as it has the extra keys used in Solaris. I have a Logitech wireless wheel mouse (Now supported in Solaris 9) that just worked! Press the scroll lock two times and it switches systems.
