5 of 5 Awesome UPS... great price! Friday, May 09, 2008 James from Augusta, GA
Awesome! APC is by far the best as far as any UPS goes. I love the fact that they are quiet, no noise at all, even if you put your ear right up to them. I bought 2, one for my PC & the other for my entertainment equipment. They are perfect, so small, no one notices that they are even there!!! Buy this UPS!!! Do not even consider the rest! 5 of 5 So Awesome I Have 4 Wednesday, November 28, 2007 dugn from Redmond, WA
APC is the only name I trust in UPSs - and the only company that continues to be around years afterward to provide replacement batteries and customer service years later.
I use this UPS on our centralized phone system to ensure phone service during power outages. I use it for my stereo/home theater system. And another for the high-wattage plasma TV. And another on my wife's computer.
Nothing electronic gets damaged by brownouts or power surges. And everything keeps humming along when the power is out for a short time. It's the cheapest insurance policy I've ever had.
I've owned these and higher-end models for years and love them! And I always keep coming back to Buy.com since they always seem to have the lowest price every time I want to add an APC UPS to our home. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Value with Lots of Power Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from American Fork UT
I set this unit up to back up a small snap appliance server as well as some other network equipment and it set up without a hitch. The form factor is very nice, taking up not that much space (it's more tall than wide). The snap appliance recognized the UPS which provides me the reassurance that it is protected. 5 of 5 Works great so far Tuesday, October 03, 2006 A Customer from Denver, CO
Works great right out of the box. I haven't had any power outages to give it the ulimate test, but I feel pretty confident it will do its job. It hooked up easily to my computer through USB and the software lets you monitor its status. Overall, a good product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 apc battery backup Tuesday, October 03, 2006 tsmayda from los angeles, ca
Was good value for the money. Not much more than the smaller less powerful models. Especially like the fact that a replacement battery can be purchased. Many smaller models that I purchased just die and you end up tossing them. Was this review helpful?

Just kidding but, I know that this backup is extending the life of my system every time there is a brown out, every time the lights blink and flicker, any of those energy fluctuations that add wear to circuit electronics or would cause a hard drive to thwack into parking its heads. And, APC is great to deal with. I've never had any trouble when a unit has even slightly acted up .. they send out a replacement pronto. I've been in business consulting since 1988 so I have had the rare instance now and again. Once I began dealing with APC equipment and people I was sold, never again would I use another brand... and I haven't. Really. I depend on my unit as well as the surge protection on my entertainment and other electronics. I trust APC because they've earned it over the years. yep.! Was this review helpful?
