    5 of 5 Great Product! Wednesday, April 15, 2009
    A Customer from Baltimore, MD
I received this mouse after only two days. The shipping was unbelievably fast. I thought that I should buy one after starting to have wrist pain. My boyfriend swears by trackballs and suggested I get one. I was worried that they were hard to use. It really didn't take too long to get used to it and now I love it. It really helps relieve wrist pain.

    5 of 5 rollerball Sunday, March 15, 2009
A Customer from crystal bay, nv.
I am very pleased with your fast service. My new mouse is great. the roller ball does take a day or so to get used to, but sure beats moving a mouse around.

    5 of 5 A treat for the hand! Friday, March 06, 2009
    Kimberly from Frozen Tundra, MN
I had owned a trackball before and it had died after many years. I had been lured away by a wireless "regular" mouse. I recently purchased a TrackMan elsewhere and I'm loving it! I just purchased another to use with my laptop. My other wireless mouse for the laptop recently quit working. I think this will work great as I won't need much operating space and I can rest the TrackMan on any surface to use it. (I can just wrap the extra cord and secure with a rubber band.) I also have carpal tunnel issues and work on my computer close to ten hours or more a day. I've noticed that a lot of my arm and shoulder pain has diminished in just the short time I've been using my current TrackMan. By the way, I also changed the wheel button to "Go Back" in a web browser when I press down on it. Someone else had mentioned in their review that they missed having that option. (Granted, there isn't a "Go Forward".)

5 of 5 OUTSTANDING! Trackman Wheel Marble Wednesday, February 18, 2009
    Shari from La Mirada, CA
I have hand and arm disabilities (from industrial injuries - repetitive motion)which preclude me from using a regular mouse. I have used a Trackman Marble since before they even added the wheel. My thumb controls the cursor movements and my hand comfortably rests across the device to take advantage of the two buttons and scrolling wheel. I recently wore out my initial trackman wheel. I was really scared, thinking I would have trouble obtaining another one. I knew I had one in reserve in my drawer but after that - who knows? I decided to try to find another one so I had an additional reserve to put in my drawer. YIPPEE! I am back up and running and safely have another one put away. It took me many years and lots of use to wear out my first trackman marble and my first trackman wheel marble. This is a wonderful product that lasts a phenomenally long time. Very easy to clean, too.

    5 of 5 great product Saturday, January 31, 2009
    Don Thornton from Fairfield, TX
I had a roller ball mouse that, after about 5 years went belly-up. We found this one to replace it, and we are loving it,just like we loved the first one. My wife has carpal tunnel syndrome and she just can't use any other kind. We did have to do some searching to find it. We were told by some they weren't being made anymore. great product. Be blessed, DT

5 of 5 Your wrist will thank you! Thursday, January 01, 2009
    A Customer from Cumberland, RI
Confession time: the first time I used this mouse, at my in-laws' house, I hated it. Loathe would not be too strong a word. It was very different from the standard mouse I was used to, and I was not happy about having to "re-learn" how to use a mouse. Now that I have a job that requires me to be on the computer for 6 to 9 hours a day, I am using a trackball and LOVING it. Give yourself a couple of days to really get used to it, and you'll be glad you did. Repetitive stress is greatly reduced, as instead of using your wrist to move your mouse, you're using your thumb. Terrific responsiveness and functionality, well worth the investment. I liked mine so much I got one for home and work a couple of years ago, and I haven't looked back.

4 of 5 Good for carpal tunnel Thursday, November 20, 2008
    A Customer from Aventura, FL
This is my second identical trackball, one for home and another one for work. This one seems to be a cost reduced version of the first one as they have removed the fancy LED arrows and the surface paint is a little rougher, but the device still works as it should.

    5 of 5 Mouse Hater Thursday, November 20, 2008
    Macrotek from Chicago, IL
Logitech's Trackman Wheel is by far the best input device on the market today. We started with Logitech's Trackman Marble when they were first introduced many years ago and have never used any other device. In my opinion mice suck. Why anyone would use them when this superior device is available is beyond me. While heavy computer users complain about various arm, wrist, and finger maladies using mice, we have never experienced any adverse physical effects using any of Logitech's Trackman products. Using your thumb on the ball to move the curser surely beats out the arm structure/stress required to use a mouse. Simply being able to scroll, single click, double click or triple click using comfortable finger positions is a real plus. Every use component just screams. Super fast, super comfortable, super device. Excellent choice!

4 of 5 Great classic trackball Tuesday, September 09, 2008
A Customer from New York City
This is one of several of these (same model)that I have bought over the years. It has just the right fit in my hand, smooth scroll wheel, and precise tracking. Also very rugged and easy to clean. It works fine with the standard windows driver, while the Logitech software adds additional button combinations if you desire. One nit is that the picture here shows the same model when it had snazzy lights (two slits on each side) near the track ball on the base. Most new models don't have that any more. Funtionally beautiful in any case!

5 of 5 TrackMan is the best Sunday, August 31, 2008
    A Customer from Phoenix AZ
I've tried other track balls in the past, this is just the best. The best feel, the best looks and the best size. I've never had one wear out before till now and it was the left button, but after 7 years, I guess something had to give. Even after 7 years no one has made a better mouse. This one is my 4th one the others I ended up giving away with the computer as I upgraded, cause everyone needs a trackman Best price found was Buy.com

5 of 5 This product is the best! Sunday, June 22, 2008
    Dannie from Hot Springs, AR
I bought a Logitech a long time ago. I stopped using it because I bought a different brand. The other brand had two extra buttons that allowed you to move forward and back while surfing the net. That product didn’t last very long. It got jerky and started sticking. It did not matter how many times I cleaned it, still gave me problems. I threw it away and started using a regular mouse. I then found the Logitech that I had put away in a box somewhere. I don’t remember how long it has been since I packed it away but I hooked it back up to my computer. It worked perfectly and has continued to work great every since and that has been several years since I unpacked it and started using it again. I prefer the trackball to the mouse because I get better control and greater ease of use. My hand and wrist does not hurt because it stays in one place. With the mouse I have to pick it up and reposition it all the time. With all that movement the cord gets in the way all the time. No moving cords with the trackball. I bought this trackball to use at work. The work computer has a mouse and I prefer the trackball. I bought the Logitech because of the quality. I don’t know how long I have had the one I use at home and it still woks great after years of use.

4 of 5 good product once you get used to it Monday, May 19, 2008
    A Customer from Cupertino, CA
The only real complaint I have with this trackball is that it takes some time getting used to having both buttons to the right of the ball. My old one had one button on each side of the ball. This, and using my thumb to move the ball, have taken a bit of practice. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it, and I would buy it again.

5 of 5 Best mouse on the market Saturday, December 22, 2007
    contact from Toledo, OH
Im a web and graphic designer and Ive been using a logitech trackball mouse for years. I am so glad I ordered this product from buy.com, logitech trackball has the best line of computer mice out. I love it because you set your mouse however it is comfortable for you and then you don't have to move your hand around to surf, it stays in one spot and everything can be done precisely with the scroll wheel and the trackball. I browsed for awhile online before I found the mouse at the price buy.com was selling it for, which was an excellent deal. I cannot and will not ever use any mouse other than the logitech trackball. It makes life so much easier, ecspecially if you use the computer for your work and you're on it alot.

    5 of 5 Great Trackball Monday, December 03, 2007
A Customer from Redondo Beach, CA
I don't know why more people don't use trackballs but I've used a number of them and this is still my favorite. I had to replace my old Logitech after my dog ate the cable (not Logitech's fault that it looked tasty) but I've never had a problem with them otherwise.

4 of 5 Logitech TrackMan Wheel Mouse Wednesday, November 28, 2007
    Patty from Irvine, CA
I love it! It's almost everything I hoped for - the only things missing are page forward/back buttons for use with internet explorer. Other than that, it's awesome; the wheel is ultra smooth and the mouse is super comfortable for my hand. I find the cord is not an issue and is much more efficient that using batteries or a rechargeable because the mouse doesn't have to move - the wheel does everything. I recomend it highly!

    5 of 5 Great alternative to a mouse Wednesday, November 28, 2007
    Dave from Tulsa, OK
My wrist was getting sore from long hours of using a mouse, so I decided a trackball would minimize the wrist activity. I used an old one with a billard size ball for a while and althrough it helped, it wasn't responsive enough. So I decided to invest in a good one and found this one at a reasonable price. It works great and allows quick accurate movement with minimal effort.

5 of 5 easy, friendly mouse Wednesday, September 26, 2007
    bruce m. from phoenix, arizona
I really like the stationary logitech mouse. all you do is rest your hand on the mouse and let your fingers do the walking. it's easy to use and quick to get used to. no more moving your whole hand around and moving the mouse all over the place. I liked this mouse so much I bought 2 more for my other pc and laptop. I highly recommend it.

    4 of 5 EASY.FAST.COMFY Tuesday, September 18, 2007
    A Customer from L.I.C., NY
I got used to it just in a minute. The marble moves fast and responds quickly with my thumb, which is great. The only thing I don't like the the scroll button in the middle. I bought this 3 btn because of scroll btn, but it doesn't scroll well. Scrolling stops every few inches down, and not smooth enough compared to what red marble does. (and actually scroll button's performance is worse than my old $5 optical mouse) Other than that, this mouse saved the space on my desk and lessen the stress on my wrist. Overall Happy Purchase.

4 of 5 marble is incredible, fast & comfy (only scroll bt Tuesday, September 18, 2007
    A Customer from L.I.C., NY
This is my first time trying marble mouse. After I'v been through with my 2-3 optical mice, I decided to try a new thing. and I got used to this marble mouse just in a minute.(EASY/FAST/COMFY) The marble moves fast and responses quick with my thumb, which is great. The only thing I don't like is the scroll button in the middle. I bought this 3 button marble mouse because of the scroll button, but somehow it does not scroll well...the scrolling stops every few inches down, and scroll speed and sensitivty are worse than my $5 old mouse. Other than that, the marble is the best to save the space on my desk, and it really lessen the stress on my wrist. Overall, happy purchase~

5 of 5 Very nice product. Friday, May 04, 2007
    Steve from Kansas
This is a very good product, I pulled it out of the box and already liked it. It doesn't look very comfortable right out of the box but it is the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. This product is very comfortable for long periods of use, and is very responsive and precise. It does take some time to get used to the trackball element of it but overall its a great product. 5/5

5 of 5 Especially for "heavy" computer users Monday, April 23, 2007
    Bali Dave from Ubud, Bali
If you're a heavy computer user (more than 4 hours/day or so), this will save your wrist and arm a lot of agony. I and many others I know were getting (got) carpal tunnel and related disorders with a mouse, with all the arm and wrist movement involved. But with a (good) trackball like this, you can rest your whole arm and wrist while zipping around the screen. It does take some getting used to, but after a day you'll be glad you did. And the Logitech one always works smoothly and cleaning only rarely needed, and simple to boot. I've used one for over 6 years now and getting another for another computer entering the house. For some reason I don't understand track balls are becoming less popular and harder to find, but the thought of going back to a mouse is painful to contemplate.

    5 of 5 As usual a reliable device Wednesday, April 11, 2007
A Customer from Deer Park , IL
10 years ago I went from mouse to trackball and I can't go back. I've even used the wireless mouse for a few months, but it doesn't compare. This is my 6th over the years and none has caused my any problems (that I haven't been responsible for). A great trackball and if Logitech made a left hand version they would have the world covered.

5 of 5 Love this mouse! Saturday, February 10, 2007
    im_buz from Near Detroit, Michigan
This is the third mouse like this we've had - third one because we have 3 computers, not cause they break. We love it. It's comfortable to your hand; You don't have to move it around a mousepad, which gets annoying to me. It does take a little getting used to the ball in the beginning but its worth it.

I like my new trackball. The third button is great because you can program it do whatever you want! Once you get used to a trackball you'll never go back to having to move your wrist around. I plug mine into my laptop because it's a USB connection.

5 of 5 The best out there Tuesday, August 08, 2006
    A Customer from Houston, TX
This is my 2nd trackball mouse from Logitech. Father in-law took the first one after his first try. Before these, I had 2 Logitech Marble trackball. One was dead after 7 years abuse from me. The other one still in service. I am not a die-hard Logitech fan but these mouses fits me very well. No more sliding or ponding on the desk. However, if you are a lefthander, you are are out of luck. It is right hand only. Will buy again and hope Logitech continue to make them.

5 of 5 Trackball or Nothing Thursday, June 22, 2006
    James R. from Rice, Texas
I have been using a trackball since 1986 and fell in love with the Marble series when it first arrived. It was pricy back then, but well worth the switch. My buddies and I used to play games over a network, they were sometimes faster at getting around, but I was able to keep up just fine. At least I never had wrist problems - though my thumb muscle did cramp on me during a 5-hour game play. I am a firm beliver in this product, everyone I have ever sold, or given one of these units is now a hard-core supporter as well. My whole family uses them. My son is about to go out for college with a laptop, this is the only accessory that he wants to add to the laptop.

5 of 5 Once you use a track, you never go back. Friday, October 28, 2005
    A Customer from Eustis FL
This is so much better than a mouse, I don't know how I ever used a computer without a trackball. This trackball rarely needs cleaning, but when it does it is very easy to clean. True an optical mouse never needs cleaning, but a trackball never rolls off your mouse pad either. Once you get used to a trackball it is so much more natural to use your thumb to control movement than to move a mouse around. Logitech's trackballs are the best!

    4 of 5 Refreshingly Different Wednesday, September 28, 2005
    A Customer from Farmington ME
This is an excellent input device that switches most of the effort away from the right wrist to the right thumb (lefties need not apply). Probably the greatest ergonomic benefit is gained by switching between this device and another that requires wrist motion to keep any one muscle group from getting overused. Although the housing on this unit is a little flimsy and not quite heavy enough, the trackball itself feels wonderful and is very precise. The bundled software is quite complete if just slightly confusing at first. I personally use Mac OS X and find that assigning Control-click the right-hand button and Command-click to the center button works great for me. At this price, you can hardly go wrong. This trackball works better than a lot of devices costing twice as much!

5 of 5 If you need a trackball this is the one to get Wednesday, March 16, 2005
.NET Programmer from Fort Collins, CO
I use these trackballs on my WinXP Home desktop and my WinXP Pro laptop. Plugged them in and I was done. The ball is smooth and free flowing dispite my nasty habit of eating buttered and salted popcorn while working. I'm not sure how they're cleanning the ball, but it's obviously a very good design. I've been using trackballs since 1991. These are the first trackballs that I'm 100% satisfied with.

    4 of 5 Second best Monday, March 01, 2004
    Don E. from Upland, CA
I can't say this is the best, because I owned the previous model (no longer sold -- Trackman Marble+) which was much more comfortable for my hands and spaced the 3 buttons out to three fingers (instead of having the wheel/third button lay between two fingers). But as far as current model mice go, this is the best. Trackball means you don't need to move the mouse, so minimizes desk space and avoids picking up dust and lint from the desktop.

    5 of 5 Comfortable & Responsive Wednesday, January 30, 2002
    paulsikora from Washington, DC
This is an exceptionally comfortable and responsive device for any right-hander who is tired of dragging a mouse around a table or whose desk space is tight. I have had one at home for two years and am now buying one for my office.
