I have done tons of research on this subwoofer and other subwoofers, and just because it is not a name brand subwoofer like JL Audio or Kenwood or anything else doesn't mean that it doesn't put out. This sub hits extremely hard, and it hits mids and highs real well. If you are looking for a sub that has a good low bass this one is okay but if you just want it to hit low I woulden't buy it. But this sub is real cheap, and it's great! I am thinking about buying another one just to have a little more bass
