High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is the future for HDTV, as it enables only one cable to deliver both high-definition video and multi-channel, digital audio to digital display devices such as DTVs, plasma displays, LCD TVs and projectors. HDMI also enables an all-digital connection between digital source devices, such as DVD players, DVD recorders, digital set-top boxes, D-VHS players and A/V receivers. I was hesitant on whether to purchase a Pure A/V versus a Monster Cable, however, I tested side by side and can tell no difference. Great cable for the price.

This cable has a nice heavy quality of construction feel to it. Performance-wise it won't blow you away but I have no complaints. The best part is the price. I needed a longer length for a wall mount but I didn't want to spend $200 for a cable. I paid under $75 instead.
