I bought 2 of these to use with my X-Arcade 2 player joystick. I have one of the newer PS3s sans PS2 hardware. They work on regular PS2 controllers, but once the joystick is hooked up, the PS3 refuses to acknowledge the second player. I tried it on my friend's PS3, an earlier model with the PS2 hardware in it, and both players work fine. So the issue, it seems, is with newer versions of the PS3. Can't totally hold it against the adapter. Was this review helpful?

i was about to sell my street fighter 2 anniversery joystick for the ps2, until i saw that theres going to be a street fighter joystick coming out for the ps3, but for $150 dollars. i was like heck no. i brought this usb adapter to try it out and viola! works like a champ. no problems playing streetfighter remix nor mortal kombat. at this moment i have gotten any problems. definitely worth the investment. Its inexpensive and works great with ps2 contollers. Now I dont have to buy expensive ps3 controllers. But the only problems with it is, its 2 ft long and doesnt work with wireless controllers besides that it is amazing Was this review helpful?

Product works even better than advertised. This adapter not only works with PS3, but also on your PC. It even works with the new official Sony "Katana" wireless PS2 controllers (I had an old PS2 to USB adapter that did not). Great price, highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

The product was what I expected. Good deal, and lets me use existing controllers. Didn't know how the conversion would work. Does not work for Guitar Hero to Rockband. I heard you need to buy the more expensive one.

It can rearrange the controller assignment for the PS3 but it worked just fine. I bought a wireless arcade fighting stick for PS2, hooked it up with this converter and it works flawlessly. Was this review helpful?

This product works as advertised for wired controllers. But that is not why I purchased it. I wanted to use it to play my wireless guitar for guitar hero on my PS3. Well, it doesn't work at all. I imagine other wireless controllers suffer the same problem. Was this review helpful?

This item was just what I was looking for! I needed a way to hook up my ps2 controller to my ps3 and this item was inexpesive and works great! Some ps2 games you try to play on ps3 require you to have the dualshock II controller from the ps2 (socom games and god of war to name a few) and this is the item you will need! I tryed to find it at some local stores but no one carried this product or knew when they may have it!(these stores included gamestop and other gamer stores) THANKS!! buy.com! and shipping was quick too! we wanted to play guiter 2 and rocks the 80's on ps3 we bought 4 of theses things the ps3 will only reconize one of these at a time,so when we went to play the game with two guitars we had nothing just one would work,and the wammy bar would not work at all when you played one player.......i would say dont waste your money.......so instead im going out to buy a ps2 right now....SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION Was this review helpful?

I purchased this item wanting it to work on my Logitech wireless ps2 controller and no luck. I dont know if I did something wrong but how hard is it to just plug in? So thats why I say it didnt work.. hope this helps someone!! Was this review helpful?
