Two things to be careful of this as it will not convert RGBHV to component cable, this doesn't convert anything. Second its incredibly fragile, it actually broke on the fist day, the connection broke right on the back of the red component end.

Make sure you read the fine print. I hooked this up, and it wouldn't work at all. I then found out that your video card must support the (Y, Pr, Pb) signal output function. Most video cards do not, and if it does, it will either have the red, blue, and green connectors or come with an adapter. This was a big waist of money. you are better off getting a VGA to HDMI converter box.
