I is easy to hook up, and did make a difference in the quality of the picture from the Nintendo wii. The ends of the cable feel a bit cheap but what do you expect for $7.00? The tips are gold plated or a least seem to be. All in all the cable works great and is a great value a most buy for any Nintendo wii owner! Was this review helpful?

Get this cable--it provides a noticeable improvement in Wii graphics compared with the standard composite cable, when used with a HD television. I can't see paying three or four times as much for the name-brand. Great value, and the seller shipped it quickly. Was this review helpful?

Economy grade cables, but they are doing fine on my Wii setup. I didn't see a huge improvement in the image with the component cables, but that is probably due to the Wii's resolution, not the cables. These are a great value, and I don't believe any more expensive cables would work any better. Was this review helpful?

What is there to say... it's a cable. Honestly though, you can't beat the price and it works great. I almost paid $25+ for a comparable cable at a store - I'm glad I got it here.
As for the product... it works. No issues. No complaints. Truly plug-and-play.
Does it make a difference / can you see it? YES. In games with motion (Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc.) it makes a noticeable difference in clarity. Limited motion games look better, but if you are playing, you probably won't notice, but those watching may see it.
In the end, just get it. It is worth getting, especially at this price. Was this review helpful?

The product was delivered in a bubble rapped envelop and was held in a plastic bag. The cables were undamaged through shipment and was easy to open. The part of the cable you need to insert into the Wii was a little hard to push in and push out without some additional force. However, once the cables were connected to the TV, the picture quality improved a nice amount from a regular AV input. The colors were a little more defined and there was less blur around the edges. This basically changes your resolution from 480i to 480p. Be aware that you might need to change either the setting on you Wii or the settings on your TV for the cables to work or else it might just appear in black and white. I recommend this product for anyone with a widescreen TV and a component input. Overall, I am happy with the product and it's price. Was this review helpful?

Look, it doesn't cost much compared to retail stores which raises suspicions. I would have given performance for the product less, but Nintendo did not invest much in terms of picture quality so you can't expect component cables to do much for a system that doesn't have the fundamentals to begin with. For $14 dollars, I got myself and my brother a set of these cables which sharpened the picture quality (PQ) of the Wii and its games. We both have LCD HDTV's (me a Toshiba and my brother a Samsung). I wish it were more dramatic (PQ), but again the goal of the Wii was functionality over PQ. With that said, I spent $14 on 2 sets of cables which is still less considering I never left the house and paid gas or taxes. Thanks Buy.com. I won't say I'm dedicated or faithful, but you have certainly gotten my attention and future consideration for shopping options online. Was this review helpful?

It's cheap and gets the job done. There's no reason to pay twice the amount for the more expensive brand name ones, which want people to believe that their cable will yield better image quality, they won't (I'm a EE, so they won't fool me). The connectors on the cable seem to be secure and sturdy so I'm not worried about that failing, although I don't plan on hooking and un-hooking the cable often anyway. I and two of my friends got this and we all have no complaints about it. Was this review helpful?

Get this item, it's affordable, reliable and you will get your money's worth. Material is sturdy and not cheap at all. So far works for me. Don't spend twice as much for the same quality as this cable would offer. Use the money to buy some other goodies on this site. Was this review helpful?

I bought this when the price was $ 1.12, and was sceptical about the performance. However, was pleasantly surprised to see such a marked improvement on the visual. I play Zelda a lot, and am extremely satisfied with this.

Just got this cable to make Super Mario Galaxy look a little better on my 1080p HDTV.
Now the Wii is 480p, not impressive on the tv but a lot better than before with just the yellow rca cable for video - colors are a little brighter and the picture is more sharp.
