In the four years between her 1998 debut VOICE OF AN ANGEL and her 2002 compilation PRELUDE: THE BEST OF CHARLOTTE CHURCH, the Welsh native blossomed from classical music prodigy to a mature talent who accrued quite a mastery of the pop idiom. Fans of Church's early work will be pleased to hear the inclusion of compositions by Orff ("In Trutina"), Franck ("Panis Angelicus"), Rossini ("La Pastorella"), and Bizet ("Habanera").
