The sophomore album from Ice Cube, THE PREDATOR, picks up where his debut, AMERIKKKA'S MOST WANTED, leaves off. Ice Cube uses his killer rap delivery to full effect on funky cuts like "Now I Gotta Wet' Cha" and "We Had to Tear This Motherf**ker Up" in a way that few other MCs can. Benefiting from the contributions of a crew of producers that includes Sir Jinx, DJ Muggs, and DJ Pooh, THE PREDATOR is a vibrant collection of cuts that were created during the L.A. uprising of the early '90s. Ice Cube had been rhyming about the prejudice and social injustices of the L.A. police for years, producing the kind of reality-based material on THE PREDATOR that is clearly an example of life imitating art.
