This speaker system satisfied several search criteria for our needs. We just moved into a brand-new apartment where the 13x17 living room is designed for modern, sleeker media components (i.e., systems that complement slim, wall-mounted TVs). We decided to purchase this speaker system based on its physical size and appearance, audio quality reviews (Consumer Reports ranked its audio accuracy to be on par with several Bose systems), and cost. We coupled this system with the Polk Audio PSW111 powered subwoofer and Yamaha RX-V663 receiver, which were selected based on similar search criteria and critical reviews. Our subjective evaluation after the first week of use: Excellent.
