| | | Police Line: Donut Cross. Features: DVD In the category of Strangest TV Series Ever, the nominees are Police Squad!, Police Squad!, and Police Squad! Includes all six episodes of the hilarious crime caper series on a single disc!
 Editor's Note
Though it only lasted for six episodes, the Zucker brothers' 1982 television series POLICE SQUAD! left a pop-culture legacy as the show that spawned the NAKED GUN movies. Displaying the same comic sensibilities as the Zuckers' AIRPLANE, HOT SHOTS, and TOP SECRET, the sitcom parodies serious police dramas through the zany crime-fighting antics of bumbling detective Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen, who lets the sight gags and double entendres fly with his trademark deadpan style). This collection presents the short-lived but cult-classic series in its entirety for a total of six episodes featuring guest appearances by William Shatner, Lorne Greene, Florence Henderson, William Conrad, Dick Clark, Robert Goulet, Tommy Lasorda, and Dr. Joyce Brothers.
